The Vacu Vin system for food and wine storage is pretty amazing--while some wine lovers debate its merits for saving wine, you just can't argue about having extra-crisp cereal after a month of storage. Specially designed rubber seals are centered in the lid of each storage container--you fit the vacuum into the seal and pump the handle until it becomes too difficult to continue. At this point, all the air has been removed from the container and you can be assured that fresh food is well protected. The wine seals work in a similar manner, except the rubber seal fits directly into the bottle. Results here are mixed--some folks insist that there's no difference between the sealed bottle and one left open, while others insist that the sealed bottle provides a major improvement. Not as big
I purchsed this item a while back.The canisters are not as big as I thought.The only change I would recommend is the size.Can't fit much into them.

White top canisters 3 stars as to the 5 star smoke color
The food saver system is great. Youwill notice there are two different style containerswhite top clear sidethen the other typewhich are see through but are in a smoke colorplastic . The white top one's lid goes down into the container just a little bit to seal which I find a little hard to open not badbut a bit of a pain . The smoked color onesthe lid sits flat on the top extremely easy to open and in my thought by far the better style. You also find the mason jar attachment a great value . Buy the jars by the case and seal flour rice and such in them very inexpencive method of storage(the smallest mason jar is freezer safe but it is real small a cup I think ). The flat/square marinade continer in the smoke coloris a lot more useful than you would first think when used for refrigrator storage . I hardly ever use the bags as compaired to the containers . So I avoid the white top containersbuy a round of the smoke colored ones and mason jars attachments (I think I have used only the larger one (wide mouth jar size )). Instead spending your extra cash on extra bags . If you got to have bagsreal quick remembersears and walmart stock them .

Does not hold seal.
I love the Vacu Vin wine bottle stoppers, so a year ago I purchased the marinator and a set of canisters.Big mistake.I can't get the seal to hold most of the time.This happened after a few uses, so it's not that they're old or anything.Every month or so I give it another try, to no avail.The seal and edges are clean, and I can't figure out what to do. ... Wonderful thin wine glasses but................
I love these thin wine glasses....I can not enjoy a glass of wine in a thick glass....I have ordered many sets of these and given them as gifts...but for some reason I break them when drying them with a dish towel...I have never put them in my dish washer and I always make sure the glass is warm when I wash it..but I guess they are super fragile and need to be air dried.In spite of this problem I will again order another set, as I cannot drink a good glass of wine in a thick rimmed glass.

TOO BIG TO HANDLE !!
This particular model is simply unsuitable for use, as the girth of this glass is too large to hold securely. Although impressive visually, the execution of this glass is poor as it is impractical for use safely and comfortably. As an owner of many of the Sommeliers series glasses from Riedel, the "O" Chardonnay glass is a blatant disappointment. This selection will be returned to the seller.

Fingerprints
While there are many positives to this line of glasses there is one thing that bothers me. When you drink from them you leave fingerprints. Normally on stemmed glasses they are not seen but with these glasses after several sips of your favorite wine the glasses are covered with fingerprints. Still love the shape though. ... Read more

Stemware that *endures.*
The only stemware that has survived my abusive, bustling house. Fearlessly used daily for all things potable. Having bounced and rolled regularly on my hardwood floors they show light but increasing scratch marks. They have not clouded.

Disappointment
I have been very disappointed in this product.If I could return them, I would.I purchased this product because a friend of mine has some polycarbonate wine glasses which she has had for several years and that still look like new.She even washes them in the dishwasher.I have only had these for about 6 weeks and have only used them about 4-5 times.Each time I have hand washed them, but they are very cloudy and I am embarrassed to use them.I would not recommend them. ... Pulltap Corkscrew
The double step levered corkscrew is a great improvement over a single step pull.I first saw this in Spain (where the Pulltap is made) and knew I had to have one.Strongly recommend this item.They come in at least two sizes; slightly longer handle.Most descriptions aren't very good.

Got mines at BEVMO for $5.99 plus tax
This works great and priced regularly at $7.99 at Beverages and More (was on sale for $5.99).The easiest corkscrew I ever used was the pocket screwpull which doesn't seem to be produced anymore, just the table model.

Wow, what a deal

Junk!
This thing is a piece of junk! It's the only blender I've ever seen that comes with a "stir stick" to unclog the sides of the jar (where the stuff all goes instead of into the blades). This should have been a clue that the thing wasn't very well designed, and it wasn't. It ALWAYS needed to be stirred when making any kind of smoothie, several times, which made the process a real pain. Also, the drain spout is a great place for food to hide and get nasty. Except for the jar it's pretty cheap plastic. But it's in the trash now because the couleing fried itself after two months. Good riddance!

not good quality
This item broke the very first time I used it. When I pushed the spigot back to release the drink the handle broke off, and you could see it was attached by a very cheap, weak piece of plastic.

600 WATTs, NOT 1500W(only pulse)
This is kinda deceptive.It's really rated at 600W.The 1500W only apply to "pulses."Therefore, only quick bursts is it's rated at 1500W, while the usual running is still 600W like any other blender.I don't like how the spout stick out, which I KNOW will eventually be knocked off and broken when I try to hand wash it.The blade is noisy, and not smooth, but overall it's okay.

Didn't know what I was missing
These are my first set of wine glasses, and though expensive compared to sets sold by Ikea, these Riedels are worth the price. I experienced aromas from my usual wine selections that I've never knew were there before. Since receiving these glasses a few months ago, I had the displeasure of drinking wines from glasses of lower quality in restaurants. There was an older review on Amazon from someone who said he brought his Riedel glass to a wine tasting event and I felt like doing the same, but unfortunately, that wouldn't make sense on a regular basis. I am happy with my purchase and I would rather put up with the risk of breaking one and getting the most out of my wines than buying some cheap stock Ikea glasses and not know what I'm missing. ... Not very good with small quantites
I am very happy with the efficiency with which the blender can process large jobs.However it is terrible with handling small quantities.For some strange reason there is a moat like gap between the blade assembly and the jar walls and a lot of stuff gets stuck in this area.I wish Kitchenaid comes up with a lower capacity jar that accompanies this blender to alleviate this problem.

Has design flaws
I have owned this blender for about 6 or 7 years now, I purchased it because of KitchenAid's reputation for making quality products. About a year ago two of the rubber teeth that couple the motor to the mixing blades, broke off. A couple weeks ago two more teeth broke off leaving only two remaining. I'm sorry but a blender that costs $100 or little more shouldn't have such a lousy drive system that doesn't hold up over time. Another poor design IMO is the jar's handle, it is attached with spot welds. I was expecting the handle to break off by now but oddly enough its fine but I still think KitchenAid should use rivets and replace the rubber drive system with something sturdier that will last for many years.
Hard to beat a KitchenAid appliance
I purchased 2 Black and Decker blenders from Target and neither lasted more than 2 weeks. They would start to smell hot than shut down for good. The KitchenAid works really well with ice cream drinks. The ice cream doesn't seem to stick to the side like the glass ones, maybe it has more to do with the blades. The base is very heavy. Worked for a few years, then burn city
I loved this when I purchased it, then I noticed it did not do a perfect job, then it would take a while to get going, then it smoked and died.Not worth it.

Make it Stop!
This machine will blend anything!It beat my KitchenAid hands down in that department.The problem is the noise the machine produces on every cycle.It's as loud as an outboard motor. We are afraid of receiving complaints in our condominium when blending our morning smoothies!Seriouly folks, a pair of earplugs should be included in every box.

Meh...I bought this based primarily on others' good reviews.The tools have a nice heavy feel to them, but the stand is very flimsy, and the bucket is tiny.

This glass is known as 416/48 to Riedel loyalists; at the interior bottom of its weighty, languidly curved bowl lies a small crystal pinhole. My Fav
The perfect Riedel Champagne glass focuses the nose of the Champagne like focusing a magnifying glass. Layers of flavor become apparent singlely, instead of just a muddled mass. Straight up & down tulip shaped glasses that hold in fine bubbles, so the wine doesn't go flat, may hold sightly better, but this glass really focuses the nose better.
Highly recommended
These glasses strike just the right taste/aesthetics/quality/price balance. They are perfect to use to enjoy fine champagne at parties and not so fragile that I worry about the glasses being too easily broken or too costly to replace if something did happen to any of them.

Great product in reasonable price
I'm a Riedel fan because I used to work for wines business so I had chance to test different glasses for free, and Riedel offer the best quality along with the price factor. I have Sommelier Bordeaux glasses (real great for collection wines but it's a pain to hand wash it by myself with great care next morning) but Vinum series are the best for daily use. I don't mind that litte logo at all so it's not a problem to me (as long as it's my favour brand names). But caution: Riedel suffering quality control problem and it's happened few years ago, I know it because I used to check the shipment piece by piece when it arrived at my shops. My first shipment was no exception, it's came with 3 defected glasses, 1 with critical defect (Borken edge) and 2 with major defects (Bubbles mark at the bodies) Hey, it's 50% and unacceptable from such a famous manufacturer! The logistics from Amazon save the problem, the second shipment arrived 2 days later (Amazing!) and all glasses are free from defects (Hurray!). You got to be serious in drinking to appreciate what Reidel's quality make your fine champagne shine. Don't buy this if you expect these glasses will make your cheap sparkling wines taste better (although it helps a little), it will definitely disappoint you. Really fine stemware.
I have already reviewed the Cheers line for the Mikasa Balloon glasses. Nobody had as yet written what a wonderful complement these are,along with the martini glasses, so I am praising these as highly as the others.
