It's another wonder of modern technology from the folks at Vacu Vin: this corkscrew stands head and shoulders above any similar model. The tiny foil cutter stores in the top of the machine--just pop it out, squeeze gently over the top of the foil, and the foil falls right off. Next, insert the cork into the bottom of the Winemaster, with all four handles in the upright position. The corkscrew inserts itself when you pull the two smaller handles down, and you lift the cork by pulling the two larger handles. The last step: just raise all four handles again to pull out the cork--no yanking or twisting necessary! For the occasional extra-long cork, you may need to perform the steps twice--but it's still far easier than other corkscrews. You'll want to open wine just as an excuse to show off this cool gadget. Easiest Corkscrew in the World
This has to be the easiest corkscrew in the world to use.We had been given one several years ago as a present and finally wore it out.I have to say that this new one doesn't seem as well-built as the original, and I have already had to fix it when the collar that fits over the bottles to keep the unit in place decided to come off.It was fixable, but for the price, this thing should last way longer than its two year guarantee.

Amazing tool! I gave one to a friend who runs a restaurant and it cut his "wine-bottling-opening-time" down to zip, bam, boom and it's done. An Excellent Blender
Overall this is an excellent blender. It's well crafted and sturdy, made of metal and glass. I had a cheap Hamilton Beach in college and it just didn't cut it. I had leakage all the time with the HB blender and the 9 million speeds it had were worthless. As other reviewers here have said you only really need the Waring's low and high speeds. That's it. Seriously.

So far so good with this blender. My only gripe is that is doesn't seem to crush all the ice. There's always a little piece left in the bottom. I jiggle the container, turn up the speed then back down but that ice sliver won't blend.
Great for frozen drinks
One of the hardests task you can ever give to a blender is to have it mix frozen drinks, and after a few tries you learn some things: the smell of a burning motor and the need for a durable blender.Most frozen drinks use ice near room temperature as their primary ingredient.Grind this ice requires a very strong motor, durable blades, and a little knowledge.Waring professional or commercial line Waring blenders will have no problems with preparing frozen drinks which is about as daunting a task as blenders get.Don't be put off by the fact the professional blenders don't have a trillion speeds from ticklish to extreme whirring, you don't need them.I have yet to have any problems with this blender from the day I bought it and I can easily say it's the best blender I've ever used.

Ugly
Quite possibly the most overpriced crappy wine glasses anyone could find.They're exactly like the wine glasses you'd find at a hotel bar -- short, with a rolled lip, and designed to be washed in a dishwasher over and over.Heavy and indestructible.Not what I think of when I think of crystal.

Great Gadget
I love this gadget!!! It's great and works really well. Plus, when people see it; the response is ALWAYS - "Wow, how cool is that?" They must have had a hiccup with production; because I had one that wasn't as solid but then I recently sent one to a friend and it is a little workhorse.....so it seems that the people that make them changed something to make sure these things last. They also have great customer service and make sure you're happy with the product.

Attack of the 12 pack
Interesting little gem which actually worked for 11 times 'til I got to the end of a 12 pack of water my wife makes me drink.Then it kind' a sighed, gave a short springy gasp and died.After trying several attempts as resuscitation, I left its brushed aluminum body lay silently on the counter.I informed my well meaning spouse of the contraption's early demise and blamed it on the water.

Great idea, poor quality...
I purchased one of these nifty gadgets for my husband, who has trouble with arthritis. We were so intrigued that we immediately ordered a second as a gift. The first one opened about 18 bottles before its innards were sprung. No longer anxious to give the other as a gift, we kept it, hoping that the first one was just a dud. The noise is riduculus!
There is no reason for a blender to be this loud with nothing in it, other than poor quality materials and lack of engineering. I just purchased it and will return it immediately.

TOO LOUD!
I had read some reviews of this product under this model but purchased the copper model. People said it was loud. I thought, of course it's loud, all blenders are loud. Received it today. Sounds like a jet engine is taking off in my kitchen. Yeah, that loud. The kids had their hands clamped over their ears and my husband and I were screaming over the noise. And I hadn't even added the ice yet! I got a large bath towel to wrap around the base and it muffled the sound somewhat, but I'm pretty sure I have permanent hearing loss.
44+ years of use
My old beehive Osterizer blender is over 44 years old, and is used most during the summer months.It was given to me by my uncle the year I was married (1962), and I don't know how long he owned it before that time.The only problem I encountered is my own error...I recently broke the glass container and had to order a replacement.The motor is still going strong (never repaired). If the party is over but there's still some wine left, don't worry about the vino losing its flavor and freshness: use these handy stainless-steel wine savers. Just place the wine saver on top of the opened bottle and push the lever down. The black rubber "cork" is pulled up against the sides of the bottle, forming a seal. The lever will then rest out of the way against the bottle. To unseal, simply flip the lever up and pull the wine saver out of bottle. I'm delighted with the functionality of this product. While doing an excellent job in bottles with openings that correspond to the stopper's measurements it is, however, too narrow for bottles with larger openings. A major shortcoming I found is that the black plastic material on the top of the stopper tends to break when closing the lock. Extremely Disappointed
I purchased this blender just over a year ago and it is already broken. The motor has malfunctioned in a severe way. If I hold the base upside-down, the motor will run but sparks fly out of it. Due to the inability to blend upside-down and the fear of sparks, this appliance is now useless junk. I contacted Hamilton Beach to try and get some satisfaction but they claimed it must have broke because I did not know how to use it. How hard would it have been to work with me instead of blaming me? Very disappointed in this product and I will now look for a new blender that is actually a quality product.

Don't buy this for the food processor
This product was a nice idea in theory, but in practicality it only works well as a blender.The food processor is really not useful for anything except maybe rough dicing.The larger pieces of food tend to not be circulated to where the blade rotates, while the smaller pieces of food get stuck where the blade isand you end up with every uneven particles.The blender, however, is good enough by my standards.It has nice thick glass and is fine for crushing ice and making smoothies.

Spend your money on separate blender & food processor
I bought this item thinking I could save space by having both blender & food processor and that is true that you could save space. But I forgot to see the negative part of it. If somethig happens to the motor you will lose both blender & food processor. And thats what happened to me :-( . The motor just stopped working and here I am in search for another food processor & blender. This time I sure will buy separate blender & food processor.

Riedel
These glasses make a world of difference in the taste of your wine.Compared to retail department stores, Amazon offers a very nice price for them.

Good but not perfect
Let me first say that Riedel's do enhance the taste of any wine and the idea behind the tumblers is good. Unfortunately they do smudge easily and have to be cleaned with soft water or they become cloudy. The manufacturer suggests washing them with only water, i.e. no soap, but this doesn't work for me.

The Perfect Personal Blender
I had to face it that I wasn't making my protein shakes because it was way too messy having to clean up both the large mixing bowl on my blender and the smoothie glass everytime I wanted a quick fix.
A Mixed Bag
I wouldn't touch this thing, but my wife uses it all the time to grind flax seeds and to make smoothies.And she's loved it.Especially having a grinder that can be easily washed.When she travels she even takes it to hotels with her and makes almond milk with it.She's had it 14 months and the 4-pronged blade assembly broke.Given the price of the unit, she feels it should have lasted longer than this.When she wrote to Tribest to complain, she was told that she was welcome to buy another blade unit.Bed and Bath sells a cheaper similar product.

A different kinda of martini chiller
As a set I liked the fact that everything needed was included like the olive pick and serving tray. Visually I like the square bottom glass look more than the globe like martini chillers I have seen. I also like the potential of using them for morethan just coctails. The included serving tray helps keep them organized and together when serving or when just sitting on the shelf between uses.
