Plenty of blender for your money
We use this every single day, and as a lover of fruit smoothies, it can break down and handle the most challenging tasks we give it.Very frozen foods, and on the other end of the spectrum, nuts for nut butters and whole grains for fresh flour.I would recommend reading the directions in their entirety, as they tell you how to best use the machine.This is not an ordinary blender, and should not be treated as such!

I started with just fruit 4 weeks ago and now am into vegi soups with raw vegi, etc. Did I say I love it! I know this sounds like hype but if you are into eating anything raw or into vegi drinks - you have to have this. Forget a new cell phone or computer. Did I mention the SOUPS and smoothies! Forget the Rabbit, buy Le Creuset
I bought a plain rabbit a couple of years ago, and though i liked it, it did, at times, take a lot of strength to get a cork out.Then it broke in the sense that it would pull the cork, but not take the cork out of the corkscrew afterward.So I went shopping for a new rabbit, and read a featured review quoting bad experience (not unlike mine) and recommending the le Creuset "screwpull".Though it cost more, I did buy the Le Creuset, and love it.It is way easier to pull any cork than the Rabbit ever was!

Get the same thing for $10.00
This is a very cool product, but there are a million knock-offs out there these days, and you can get them for as little as $10.00! They are almost totally identical, they look just as cool, they work just as well, and the only thing that the knock-offs don't generally have is the fancy wooden box.Cost Plus World Market sells one for $20, and Linen N Things sells one for $9.99.Some companies just don't get the idea of appropriate pricing.

The Rabbit Rocks
I am amazed at the negative reviews on the Rabbit.I've had mine for almost two years, with no problems at all.Yes, it is about time to replace the screw, as the teflon coating will wear.The only reason the Rabbit doesn't get 5 stars is that it chokes on synthetic stoppers; about the only thing that works for these is the winged-style puller.Our Rabbit does about 10 corks a week, and up to 50 in a wine party evening.Once you get in the the flow of the operation, it is a breeze.For those who have problems with the Rabbit, simply send it to me, then stick with screw caps, as most other pullers would likely pose a similar challenge. ... Not too used to it...
First of all, let me give you my past experience in using a blender. I used my boyfriend's blender, which is "cheap" according to him, something you buy from the supermarket or department storef or less than 30 dollars. I loved his blender. It made awesome smoothies.
Works fine
This machine has heft to it. Had the box not said so, I would not have known it was remanufactured. Use it exclusively for crushing ice for smoothies. Made 35 or 40 and so far, so good. Burned out another more expensive brand in no time flat. Better to stop and pulse again at the first sign slowing down (which it rarely does but after reading reviews of other machines and how common burn outs are I'm taking it slow...which means maybe 60 seconds more to make a smoothie).
The more I drink, the more I like it!
Makes frozen margaritas without bursting into flames--what more can a gal want? Arrived looking and smelling new. For the price, I'll be happy if it lasts 2 years. Can't beat it! ... Read more

Tired of those metal cocktail shakers where the top refuses to open when you go to clean it?The vacuum that occurs with the metal variety has happened to us on every model we've tried.The Boston Cocktail Shaker does not have this problem.We had no difficulty whatsoever with a tight seal on the first try and have had no leakage problems.The only drawback (very minor) is that the measurement lines do not go all the way to the bottom of the glass.So if you're measuring out small quantities of liquor, you still need to use a jigger.Other than that, it is very easy to use and clean.Top rating for this bar helper!

I bought a set of 10 of these same glasses back in 1992.. over the years there was an inevitable attrition and I am sooo happy to have the opportunity to replace them. They arrived totally unbroken (great for a box of 16) and are dishwasher-ing beautifully. Actually, I ordered them from Australia, picked them up in U.S. on a family visit and transported them back in the overhead (just days before the recent carry-on crackdown). All my Aussie friends are green with jealousy. Cannot get such FINE and gorgeous cheap glasses here.

My ordinary juice tumblers are wearing out, so I'm trying alternatives for a new set. So far, I'm very happy with these. They have all the qualities of the inexpensive Riedel line, including being able to go in the dishwasher. And sure 'nuff, I can tell a difference between a glass of riesling, even *cheap* riesling, by drinking it out of this glass. (My major experiment was using a bottle of wine that was merely okay. The glass made it a *better* okay. I think it still ended up in a fondue.)Read more

Wonderful Glasses

What a difference a glass makes....
I must admit that I don't know much about wine and I never thought the glass could make the difference. Wine is wine, no matter what you drink it from, or so I thought, but boy, was I wrong! I borrowed a couple of different glasses from my local store just to see if it was really worth it to have separate glasses for the different grape varieties...and the answer is yes! Yes! YES!

One of my favorite wine gadgets!!
I have been using my Concerto for several months now, and I am a raving fan! I drink wine frequently, but seldom finish a bottle in one evening. The Concerto is so easy to use to "vacuum-pack" your leftover wine for storage in the fridge. The unit makes a little chirping noise when the vacuum is reached, so it's foolproof to use. Wine stays fresher longer, and I am a happy enophile! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

A poor wannabe
I have four covered trays made by Tupperware, I was trying to save a buck, bought four of these because I have liked other Oxo products.It was a mistake.While these work, the cubes are small, the trays are difficult to fill and cap without spilling water, and they are clunky in the freezer compartment.All I did was compromise, buy and waste my money, and now I need to go pay the full price for the Tupperware trays that work and that I should have bought to start with.

Great idea but flawed
Although the idea of these ice cube trays is great the actual use and operation of them is not. They can be very difficult to open up after they have frozen your ice cubes. Needless to say that is frustrating and it ends up making a mess all over with pieces of chipped ice and so on.The internal surface of the lid sticks to the ice cubes making opening up the tray very difficult if not impossible and leads to frustration and a mess in general.I would not recommend these to my friends or family.

Tray For Making Ice Cubes - Speaking The Obvious.
I was shopping around for an ice cube tray that can seal in the ice and keep it fresh. I do not like the flavor of cubes left open in the freezer. I purchased those close-bottled trays with a screw cap, but the ice cubes have very little volume and melts quite fast. This OXO tray caught my eye on amazon so I decided to give it a shot. I really should of had listened to the golden rule of always looking at something in person before buying. It does not seal ice cubes from being contaminated, but nowhere did it ever claim that. I should of had been more keen on my part. I can think of a few reasons otherwise, but I do not feel there is a need for the cover if it doesn't seal the cubes properly. To be fair, the cubes does turn out with sufficient volume and is quite solid. The tray can be a hassle removing straight out of the freezer, but I rarely had problems with that if I am careful when filling water into the tray and aligning the cover properly. I keep plenty of frozen meats and vegetables in the freezer, and it is important to me in having a ice cube tray that seals properly. I will continue my search for a sturdy sealable tray. I will post an update if I find one that I have tested.

Affordable Shave Ice Fun
My family has been using the Hamilton Beach Snowman Ice Shaver for a couple weeks now and we love it. I think it's one of the best things to get kids for the summer. When kids are hot, it's a great way to cool them off with something fun and healthy. Just freeze some grape juice or other yummy, healthy drink, and turn it into a shave ice!
A Great Ice Shaver
I have bought this item and it works excellent. I used the mold to freeze orange juice, then i put the mold in and pressed the button. Out came perfectly shaved ice, just like snow.
