Bought this and hateit!
Just purchased this blender & am returning it immediately. It has a number of terriblefeatures: it's very difficult to remove the cover if you have carpal tunnel, arthritis, or weak hands. To change speeds you turn a dial (as opposed to the buttons on most others), which makes for rough transitions. Moreover, the dial feels very flimsy and I doubt this machine will last. I purchased this model because I thought its premium price would mean a premium product, but from the plastic gears to the flimsy dial, to the impossible-to-open cover, I hate it. Will go back to either an Oster or Waring, both of which served me well, each for over 10 years.

NICE BLENDER
This is a well made quality blender with a simple design that works great. The pitcher is thick glass and the base is wide and heavy so it doesnt move around. It has a rotating dial to make a selection and the center of the dial pushes in for the ice crushing speed. The box states that it makes great smoothies but we havn't made any yet. Overall it has a nice heavy duty feeling to the entire unit. By far the best blender that we have ever owned.

Poor quality
Not very good quality...
Very disappointed
I placed three orders for the photo frame coasters in a wood stand ( Total of 35 ). The packaging they came in was dirty as if they were left on a shelf for months. After opening them, the sides of most of the coasters were loose. I could have glued them back together, but when you are purchasing something you shouldn't have to fix them yourself. I was very disappointed not only with the product, but also with the response from Amazon. The replacement sets that I received were just as bad. I questioned about quality control and the response was that sometimes things are good and sometimes bad. Not a kind of response from such a large company that you would expect.

Bodum Pavina Double-Wall Espresso/Shot Glasses
I love these shot glasses.The double wall keeps me from burning myself when I am retrieving my espresso.They are some type of plastic, which keeps me from breaking them, a bad habit of mine.They were reasonably priced and of very good quality.

Great machine for the price
I've had this blender for about a month and it does what it's supposed to. I use it mainly for smoothies or sauces: it crushes ice easily and efficiently.
Good blender, worth the money
At the moment I am using it mainly for making smoothies, shakes, and malts.I did crush ice using the instructions that came with the blender and it produced ice that would make a wonderful snow cone.I put fruit in the smoothies and sometimes bananas in my malts.Everything was processed smoothly.I definitely recommend this blender.Plus, I ordered this through Amazon.com and it was delivered on time, maybe even earlier than estimated.

I have been using my WaveLogic Blender for about a month now and I love it.We use it for making smoothies and it works wonderful.It blends the frozen fruit and mixes the ice very well.My last blender was a Hamilton Beach also, but it did not compare to this new one.It did not blend our ice. Easy to use and clean
This hand blender is GREAT because I make fresh salsa often and it's a lot easier to use and clean this hand blender than to use my food processor.The attachments are easy to remove and store.I've looked at a few different hand blenders and I think that quality will always be worth the extra money you put into the product.It's been worth it.

Easy, Effective, Convenient
I love this hand blender.It makes great smoothies. I use all frozen fruit---berries, bananas, peaches, etc.I just make sure that the berries are not whole, and the blender works just fine.The plastic mixing container is the perfect size. Also, the detachable bottom half of the blender makes it a breeze to clean. This is so much easier than using a traditional blender to make a smoothie.

Poor quality --poor support
The Duet served my wife and I well for more than a year. Then, like many others are reporting, the spindle broke on the base unit. I contacted Cuisinart, but they don't make a replacement. So we had a pitch a basically good unit but lack of this tiny replacement part.

I bought this item, thinking, like others, that the Cuisineart name meant quality.The blender broke about within about 6 months, but I kept on using the food processor.Light use, I might add.Just a few days ago, the food processor broke -- the plastic food bin snapped.This has been one of the most disappointing purchases I've made.Plus, it is unbelievably LOUD.I'm in the market for a more expensive, sturdy, reliable processor.You get what you pay for.

Fantastic Gadget
This was a surprise gift. A just because I wanted to, gift. Opening a bottle of wine could not get any easier. I don't know why this opener wasn't available sooner, it is such a great gadget. Anyone who enjoys wine should have one of these wonderful gadgets in their household. Almost magical
For many years, I thought there's no difference between letting wine breathe in the bottle instead of in a carafe. I even thought it was more elegant to leave the wine in the bottle so people can read the label. So it takes longer... but you know, the carafe really makes a difference. Even if you let it breathe for only a few minutes, wines seem fuller, less tanic.

Great blender, better than the Professional Bar Blender
Well, I certainly read a lot of reviews before I made my decision, so I thought I should write one, too. Hope this proves helpful.
Air pockets make for LOTS of stopping, poking, and restarting
We make smoothies a couple of times a day using frozen fruit - pineapple, raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries - along with various juices.With all the rave reviews and the 1 horse power motor of this Pro Line Kitchen Aid blender, I was disappointed that air pockets form so readily around the blade.Just seconds after I turn it on, the blender stops blending until I stop the motor, poke the fruit down with a spatula, and restart.I usually have to do this about 4 or 5 times to make a simple smoothie.If I add plenty of juice, it is less prone to this problem; however, we like our smoothies thick.Once the fruit is blended enough to keep air pockets from forming, it makes a GREAT smoothie - far superior to the Kitchen Aid 1/2 horse power food processor I used to use.It's also attractive and the handle is light weight.The motor also regularly smells of smoke; hopefully this is because it is so new?

Fantastic!
I ordered these a few weeks ago and just love them.I use them for any drink with ice and no condensation!I thought they would be fragile but they really are tough. I knocked one off a table and it didn't break, it did land on carpet.I will be ordering more.

These glasses are unique and handy - but a bit fragile
I love the function of these glasses.We were given some of these Bodum double wall glasses and immediately saw the quality difference.They will not sweat, they will keep your cold stuff cold, etc.I have two down-sides...These must be handled gently, they are not that thick or hearty.Until we realized what was going on, we cracked two by having our refigerator ice dispensor throw cubes into them, cracking them.Plus I yanked the dishwasher open fast, knocking one over into something solid, and it broke.

Great as a Coffee Grinder
I bought this to see if it would grind coffee beans as I did not want to buy a separate coffee grinder. I placed the coffee beans in a small plastic sandwich bag and used the Smart Stick itself to grind them right in the bag. Unlike a regular coffee grinder there was minimal clean up and no coffee all over the place; it's much quieter too. It did a good job - resulting in a medium coarse grind that is ideal for drip coffee makers but would not be fine enough for espresso coffee makers. I have yet to use the chopper/grinder bowl or whisk attachments but based just on using it as a coffee grinder I give it 5 stars. Elegant Cuisinart design is a plus.

speigelau chard glasses
Theopening of the glass is too small to get your face (and nose into it) poor detail in transmission of bouquet and finish of wines. Diva chard glasses are much better for the same money.

Spiegelau will work just fine
Spiegelau was acquired by Riedel a year or two ago, and is quite similar to the Riedel Vinum glassware, which sits just below Riedel's high end sommelier series. These glasses offer exceptional value. The difference between the Spiegelau and the Riedel is less in the quality of any individual stems--both are well-made, European machine blown crystal--than in the fact that Riedel offers a broader range of glassware specifically designed to enhance wines from particular varietals (e.g., cabernet sauvignon, pinot noir) or from particular appellations (e.g., Burgundy, Bordeaux). If you are simply looking for a basic red wine glass and a basic white wine glass, the Spiegelau will work just fine. However, if you usually just drink Barolo, for example, you might wish to invest a bit more money in a Riedel stem specifically developed to enhance the bouquet and flavors of that appellation. However, the most important thing to know is that these are excellent quality glassware that offer the major advantages of crystal over regular glass, a thin lip and a microscopic pores in the glass that effectively increase surface area, increasing the area from which the bouquet can launch.

We've been looking for something like the frother for a very long time.We travel to Greece every year and they do amazing things with Nescafe and a blender similar to the frother.Now, we can have our Nescafe coffee drinks all year long!

Nearly perfect frother
We own the rechargeable version of this as well.Both work quite well in making froth.However, this battery version falls short of the rechargeable and so gets 4 stars for two reasons:The switch design placement is very awkward (on the side of the thing) and really does not fall to hand easily.The other version has the power button on the top, so it is easy to hold it pinched upright and press the button with an index finger.Also, the stand is not very stable.Since it hangs, the whole thing is top-heavy and prone to being knocked over easily.The recharger stand is designed to accept the device upside down, so it is bottom-heavy.(The recharging unit seems to use magnetic induction, just like most modern electric toothbrushes.)

Beautiful glasses
I am not an oenophile and actually prefer the sweet wines.However, these glasses have helped me appeciate the dryer whites better.The tastes seems to be more complex and I no longer focus on the dryness of the wine. The Best Wine Glass

No drips/leaks. EZ to clean. Has a "wagon wheel" like clump breaker that actually works. Drinking from the cup is made easier with the pop up air intake... kind of like the air intake on a gas can. You drink from the cup... not suck because of the air intake. Great product... great price.

Hi there! This is a great gift idea! We bought it for my father-in-law for his birthday. We used it at our wedding which was a great help, but ...... one of the black rubber parts that goes in the bottle accidentally got tossed with the bottle. I'm not sure where to get a replacement for it ... does anyone know where I can get a replacement or at least begin to look for one? Please let me know, I feel bad that we lost part of his gift at our wedding. Thank you for your help!

A DEFINITE crowd pleaser!
I purchased one of these as a gift for someone, and as soon as it hit the counter, the Bartender was a smash hit at the party. Everyone was asking about it. Watching the shots drain out and refill sold a few others on it, as well. Works terrific. Not quite sure about washing the detachable compartments yet.
