The pitcher retains the beverage temperature well. BAsed on th eonline image, we thought the colour would be a graded blue, to only discoevr the pitcher was a solid blue from top to bottom.

Not Too Loud
I blend soy smothies every morning for breakfast.All too often I find the cheapo blenders I'd been using to be way too noisy, at the level where you could definitely have some hearing damage, not to mention unhappy neighbors.I looked long and hard at this blender, but couldn't find any reviews that commented on the noise.Well, in addition to being a great blender, this beautiful machine isn't too noisy, in fact its at the low scale on the noise level.Very happy with it & highly recommmend....

Great Blender
Though definitely a high price point, this blender is industrial and absolutely will blend anything. Fast, sharp blades cut through ice and anything else we have thrown at it with ease. Great buy, worth every cent.

Horrrible product with Horrible service
I tried to replace a large Oster Blender jar. I purchased the product from Goodman's. The jar was smaller than advertised and the bottom to the jar did not fit properly and leaked all over.What made things worse was the fact that goodman's customer service was horrible. They had a poor response time, no customer relations skills, refused to deal with the problem, and I ended up throwing out the blender and going to a department store to buy a new one. Welcome to the 21st century of wine openers.
This is hands down the best way to get a bottle of wine open short of a screwcap. I will never use a corkscrew again as long as I have this item. I even take it to restaurants with me. Not only is it simple and easy and instant, it's also a neat effect that always gets attention from spectators (not quite as spectacular as the saber method but a lot safer and cleaner). The only time it's ever failed me was on German corks that are not tight enough and slide into the bottle but obviously that would be the case with any opener and those will always be tricky to get open. Bravo and thank you to the designer of this item. This is true innovation.

I added this opener to my wish list and received it for Christmas.I've always struggled with corkscrews, but I was nervous that using the needle type would take too much strength for my weak little hands.But on the first use, it could not have been easier.It was simple to slide the needle into the cork, and the only surprise was how quickly it popped out.It was actually a little startling, like popping a champagne cork.The instructions note the opener cannot be used on 1.5 liter bottles or carbonated wines, but neither of those is an issue.I was always so disappointed and embarrassed that I couldn't enjoy wine at home, because I always needed help with a corkscrew- but those days are over as I sit here enjoying my first glass of Shiraz.I highly recommend this opener to anyone who is tired of tearing up corks or hurting their wrists with a conventional corkscrew! ... Foil cutter review
I bought this as a gift for my mother-in-law who has rheumatoid arthritis.She has raved about how easy it is for her to use compared to others she has tried.

Happy with second best...
Well, I don't know if it's the world's best cutter. It's straight-forward to use and a little unusual in appearance (which leads to comments during wine bottle opening ceremonies). My eleven-year-old son used it immediately out of the box with excellent results (and of course without reading the instructions). Clean cuts. A bit big for my aesthetic taste, but it does what it's supposed to do.

My wife and I are "healthy" wine drinkers (a bottle every 1 to 2 days).We have a speed wine opener and were looking for a foil cutter to match. Great Corkscrew!
I purchased one of these Arcosteel corkscrews several years ago after reading a corkscrew review in Consumers Reports.It was a little difficult to figure out at first, but after opening more bottles it became a breeze.Just clamp it to the bottle top, gently bring the lever over the top and pull it back and, the cork is removed!Remove the unit from the bottle and bring the lever back over the top, clamping it onto the cork, and bring the lever back, and the cork is removed from the corkscrew.What could be easier?And it comes with a foil cutter and extra screw too!

Slipped a gear
The corkscrew slipped a gear on the third bottle and it is now in the waste basket. It seized up while opening a bottle and enough pressure was applied to the handle to cause it to slip the gear. Iced drink tumblers
The tumblers are nice in that they keep the drink cold or hot, but I find them too large and cumbersome, also difficult to fit into the dishwasher.They do wash nicely though in the dishwasher, do not crack as my old plastic glasses did.

Moderate Ice Wine Chiller
I really like the whole idea of the product and it is cute and lightweight and doesn't take up much room in the freezer. The downside is that it did not chill the wine rapidly (I did a test). In about 10 minutes the wine was cooler, but not cool enough. I'm planning to use them to keep already chilled wine cold, but was hoping to find something that would chill room temperature wine up fast.

Better than a ice bucket.

These glasses are great looking, very sturdy and good for daily use also. If you pour a can of soda or something else, then you'll have nearly 1/3rd of the glass empty since its a 22.5 oz glass.

Excellent Food Processor/Blender Combo!
I have used different brands of Blenders and Food Processors from various manufacturers in the past, but beleive me or not, this Blender/Food Processor is really the one I am looking for. It has a powerful motor that can easily break ice, plus the Blender jar is made of really thick, unbreakable material, unlike many other Glass Blender jars. One other feature I like about this combo is its wave action technology, which can continuously pull down the mixture in it and this system really works. The Food processor is large enough to chop/mix fruits and vegetables, and above all it saves a lots of space in my kitchen. I have read a lots of bad reviews from many people about other Combos like this, but I don't know what these people are exactly trying to do with a Blender/Food Processor.

Fine Glassware, but expect shipping damage
The glasses are great, but beware, they are extremely fragile. When I received my glasses, 2 of the six were shattered in the box. Amazon customer service was great and sent a replacement set promptly. When the replacement set arrived, found two of that set broken also. So I carefully packed up two good glasses and four glasses worth of shattered glass and returned it. My guess is that Amazon returns opened a package of six sets of shattered glass.

Excellent glasses at a good price. Fine glassware.
If you are the type of person who appreciates the difference between fine glasses and cheap glasses you will like these. The glass bowl is delicate and the lip is thin. This makes for excellent "feel" but probably accounts for the breakage rate.

The glasses are nice quality, but like the majority of other people who ordered these they arrived broken because of insufficient packing material.

Handy, practical tool for a great price
I trust Kitchenaid's products completely, and this immersion blender is not an exception. I use this for blending soups and am pleased with the quiet motor and efficient results every time. The various attachments are handy and just about everything can be stored in the included Kitchenaid canvas storage bag.

Shapen the blades and it will work fine
I bought one of these the first time I saw it because my wife and I had such a good service from or KA Stand Mixer for many years. It looked so well built and sturdy. The noise level was so low, easy to clean, we liked it very much until we tried to make a banana smoothie, the result was banana chunks even after long periods of pulse or different speeds. I called KA service and the lady suggested to try riper bananas or even to puree the banana first in the KA food processor!
It cannot puree
I got this as a christmas present so I felt bad selling it, but I had to.It seemed like such a bummer that such a well constructed and powerful blender can't liquify anything (even though it's got a button for that).The blender has a deliberately DULL blade and I could never can a reasonably smooth puree.There's a lot of nice things to say about this blender and it's very easy to take apart and clean.Which is why I was hoping KitchenAid would have a SHARP replacement blade somehow available (think of their mixers and how much attachment stuff they make for that).That would make all the difference in the world to just swap a sharp blade in for soups, and putting the dull one back in for crushing ice or whatever.As far as I know, they don't make a sharp blade for this.Too bad.

It's red and I luv it. Okay, not just because it's red- but I'm soooo delighted that it is. This blender was purchased to replace my existing blender that does not do anything well- forget about grating ice. My first mission was to make slushies and... mission successful.
