Great Light Weight Cake Pan
Although this pan is surprisingly light weight, it's wonderful for upside down cakes. There aren't as many pineapple molds as there are pineapple slices in a 20 ounce can (which the included recipe calls for), but you can easily work around it. The enclosed recipe for upside down cake makes a very heavy, moist cake, but the batter was a little unsweet for my taste, so I added extra bwon sugar, and I will definitely use this pan and recipe many, many more times.

Works well when used as intended - not for heavy protein cakes
As some of the reviews below reveal, this cake pan was manufactured to be used for the traditional pineapple upside down cake.it performs as intended when you use a standard store-bought mix or common recipe for upisde down cake.If you get all experimntal and use heavier flours with far more protein content, you cake is gonna stick.if you must use a custom low-carb recipe, you are better off making your cake in a rectangle pan.

Sassafras La Cloche Brick Oven
Received my Sassafras La Cloche Brick Oven yesterday with the idea that I'd be trying it out this weekend. Unfortunately,I discovered that the thin clay handle was broken off the cover. Now I'm in the process of trying to get it returned and replaced.
Great bread, but...
I used La Cloche to make bread with, specifically San Francisco Sourdough, with SPECTACULAR results. The crust was crisp but chewey, and I could not imagine baking another loaf without it. But after I used it the first time, the bottom developed a crack. After a second use, the crack became so large that I will not use it again for fear it will break during cooking.

Chicago Metallic Commercial 1-1/2-Pound Loaf Pan

For something that needs to be kept 'germ free'....
this item certainly was not packaged with any consideration of hygiene.As a matter of fact, it was not 'packaged' at all.Thus, we have a combination of Chinese (country of origin) germs, Amazon germs and middleman germs.At the very least, this brush should have been packed in a cheap plastic bag.Not a very auspicious start for this highly rated item...

Would give no stars if it were an option
After using only a few times, the bristles fell out in big clumps.I was using it to brush olive oil on filo dough when it starting falling apart, and I wondered if the oil had softened the glue that held them in. Will look for a replacement that uses something besides just glue to attachbristles to the handle.

I love this mini muffin pan
At first I bought a 12-cup nonstick mini muffin pan at Bed Bath and Beyond but I soon realized that 12 is not enough when it comes to mini muffins since any normal size recipe easy makes 3 times that many. So I bought this 24-cup pan and I really like it.The nonstick is great; the muffin pop out of the tin easily when they're done and clean up is easy too.Really, I paid almost the same for the smaller pan, but this one is much better.My husband likes to bake and says he can tell the difference too.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee of Roasting Pans
Most of my cook- and bakeware is of the hard-anodized Calphalon ilk.That said, I will admit that the Calphalon was not my first choice for a roasting pan.I will also admit that my first choice was the shiny, uptown All-Clad Roti.And I will even be so brazen as to admit that the Roti was my first choice because (a) it is shiny, (b) it is All-Clad, and (c) I am not immune to the whole cache of All-Clad and that whole "kitchen-bling" thing that it has going on.But then I realized that for the cost of the Roti, I could get the Calphalon, a 25 pound turkey, two bags of cranberries, a bottle of wine, and a vintage cookie jar that I have had my eye on.

Did I "Chip" this right
Several commenters have expressed that you have to go easy on Sango because of chipping.Well, I have owned my 8-piece setting and 5-piece completer set for 4 years and none of them are chipped!As a matter of fact, they were stored away in boxes for 2 years when I temporarily relocated and was not using them. Perhaps the chipping is due to washing them in the dishwasher rather than by hand.I used to always wash my dishes by hand and not until recently I began putting them in the dishwasher; still no chipping!I am so happy with Sango, and the compliments from friends, that I am purchasing the 3-piece bowl set.Sango really is a fine show and a great buy!

Hand Thrown Bowls?
I've enjoyed all of my Sango Splash dishes, bowls and accessories. People constantly ask me if they were made locally. There is only one caution in using Sango Splash. Use care when washing and storing to avoid chipping your items.

great cheesecake out of this pan
i saw this pan on a cooking show.when i saw it on amazon, i had to get it.it is the best springform pan i have used.the edge makes it much easier to remove the cake off the pan, and put it on a plate.

Great pan...good design.
I am a pastry chef, and this is the pan I use every day. In fact I am ordering four more tonight. Since the pan is dark, if you are going to bake for a long time, I suggest you line the pan with Reynolds non-stick foil. I do for ease of de-panning, but it also helps keep crusts from overbrowning.
The perfect cheesecake pan!
This pan is the best cheesecake pan I've used. My cheesecakes bake evenly and NEVER leak (I bought it to replace one that cost the same amount but leaked all over my oven). Highly recommend. I've never had anything burn on the bottom, so if you have that problem, have your oven calibrated, or make sure you put the pan in the center of the oven - not too close to the heating element. My cheesecakes come out perfectly every time. I will never buy another brand!

I have owned four of these containers for at least 3 years, maybe 4 years, and have used them almost daily.They have lasted well, except that some of the plastic lids have started to become slightly brittle, less flexible.However, they still seem like a good deal for the price, considering how much we have used them.I have been putting the lids in the dishwasher, on the top rack.

Another rocking,warped skillet/braiser!
I have been looking for a 10-13" skillet/braiser that will remain flat on my electric flat cooktop.After reading all the descriptions-page after page, I thought the Anolon Titanium would do the trick;however, after one(1) heat up on high to fry some hamburger, I had a pan that wobble terribly on its middle point(right where Anolon stamps its logo).One can whirl the pan on this point with ease.This product may be great for the gas cooktop, but do not get it if you want a flat bottom pan for your electric cooktop.The handles stayed cool and had a good grip feel and balance for carrying and cooking. ...
