Editorial Review

This classic tube-cake bundt pan is round with vertical flutings alternating between sharp/narrow and rounded/wide. Detail remains intact thanks to the pan's heavy, cast-aluminum sturdiness, which promotes even baking. Try butter bundt cake with caramel and chocolate sauce (recipe included), and the pan's capacity to create fine crusts is enticingly demonstrated. The mold holds 12 cups of batter, enough to make a festive cake for 10 to 12 people. This rust- and warp-resistant pan has a long life expectancy. The nonstick coating ensures cakes, breads, frozen desserts, and gelatin desserts and salads pop out with their pretty flutings intact. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Bundt Pan
This pan will last forever regardless of how often it is used.

5-0 out of 5 stars You won't regret buying this!
After getting rid of a disastrous Bundt Pan which came as a gift, I went with what America's Test Kitchen suggested - The NordicWare Platinum Series Cast Aluminium 12-cup Bundt Pan. I couldn't believe what I saw, it was as if a professional chef made the cake!! Perfectly even browning, beautiful well-defined shape - just perfect!

2-0 out of 5 stars pretty but not fun
This sifter looks great but has a strange requirement. You have to shake the sifter back and forth for it to sift the flour instead of the normal (at least as far as I'm used to) trigger action found on most sifters. This works but is a little bit laborious and messy. It comes with plastic lids for both ends of the sifter which seem superfluous. It could do without the lids and with a lower price.

5-0 out of 5 stars Works great.
I don't know why people are saying this product works slowly?I find that you can dispense a cup of flour in about 10 seconds.Maybe they can design this sifter so that the covers can use a hinge to open and close, so the covers stay with the unit, but other than that, it does its job.

1-0 out of 5 stars NOT WORTH IT!
I bought this sifter and washed before I used it. The bottom strainer part came undone, so I pushed it back into place, except it wouldn't go back in the right spot, so everytime I shook it side to side, it wouldn't sift, because the metal piece that slides back and forth to sift wasn't touching the bottom strainer part anymore. Needless to say, it went back and I got the old fashioned kind with the squeeze handle. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Not bad
I've always been told cast iron is best. Muffins came out fine but with a slight taste of "cast iron". Maybe there is remedy for that. This a great treat for the little ones.

5-0 out of 5 stars smaller than I expected

2-0 out of 5 stars Here's the secret -
They RUST like a son of a gun!If you have the misfortune to purchase this pan you will need to hand wash and dry it to slow down the rust process.Mine began to show rust after the very first use. After 3 uses it had rust in several of the cups and was too nasty to use.I'm back on amazon to buy some decent Chicago Metallic pans.I'm done buying these disposable cheapies.

5-0 out of 5 stars Inexpensive, medium weight and truly non-stick.....
I tried my hand at berry muffins the other day.My main error was that I used paper muffin cups. The muffins tore when trying to remove the paper cups. The pan cleaned up with no scrubbing despite the appearance of having burned on berries/juice.Needless -to-say, I will not be using the paper cups again. They are totally unnecessary.

These pretty little ramekins are a bit different in style than the traditional vertically rippled cups that look like miniature soufflé dishes. The tall, smooth sides are only interrupted by three horizontal ridges--it's a clean look, and actually makes them more practical. They're easier to grab from under the hot broiler and also easier to scrub clean after use--no more caramelized sugar trapped in the ripples! The smooth interior flares just slightly at the top to provide a broader surface area for that tasty top layer. Each ramekin holds up to 8 ounces when filled to the very brim, and goes easily from freezer to oven or microwave--terrific for make-ahead fruit crisps or cobblers. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Adorable Ramekins
I can't wait to find more recipes for these terrific ramekins!I was a little concerned at first that the may be too small; but, after trying the Molten Chocolate Cakes recipe, I am looking forward to using them again and again. If you are a chocolate lover, definitely try Mary Davis' recipe...they baked up beautifully; and, they had a perfect gooey center. The make-ahead feature is a winner.Easy to handle and to clean.I adore Le Creuset!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great ramekins
I have not been disappointed with Le Creuset yet. Use these over and over, in the oven or under the broiler for Creme Brulee - they always look new. Great!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Not the 8 ounce size in the description
These hold a little more than half a cup when filled to the brim.I can only guess the description statement that says they can hold 8 ounces when filled to the brim can only be refering to the 7 oz size. These are perfect for the standard 1/2 cup Creme Brulee, and they are taller, so that water won't splash in when you set them in a pan of water in your oven to bake. They are easy to clean, and the bottom stays cool when you torch the sugar on the top. They are easy to clean and come in 3 or 4 colors (Flame is not always listed, but I have the Red, Blue & Green versions). It works well for freezing sorbet as well, and for baking coddled eggs.I am very pleased with these versitile ramekins ... 1-0 out of 5 stars bread pans
This product did not even approach what was described.A bagutte pan needs to have a decent-sized curvature so a bagutte shape will be obtained. This pan would have produced a fairly flat loaf.

3-0 out of 5 stars Comme ci, comme ca.
I owned another perforated pan from Chicago but it was bought years ago;the construction of the older model is of heavy aluminum and very sturdy. Since I was so happy with my previous purchase, I bought this one thinking it was of the same quality. Needless to say, I was disappointed. The construction of the nonstick version is flimsy compare to the older one, and its length was an inch shorter. I don't know why they added the nonstick feature. Dough sticking to the pan has never been a problem with the other one.
5-0 out of 5 stars Hundreds of Loaves Later, and Still convinced this is the Best
I started making French bread using this pan about a year ago.I tried several other brands first, but got by far the best results with this pan.I've made hundreds of loaves over the past year using this pan and the results have always been terrific.People ask me to bring the bread to parties, and I even supplied a friend's wedding last summer.I use a recipe from a book called, "The Best Bread Ever," by Chales Van Over, with great results.A French and a Belgian friend have told me my bread is as good or better than anything they've ever had in Paris. ... One of the most useful sets a kitchen can have, these three attractive stainless-steel bowls with snap-on lids can be used to mix sauces, beat eggs, let milk warm to room temperature without the cat getting at it, store cereal and snacks, take fruit salad on a picnic, and even serve a green salad at the table. 5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Quality - Would Purchase Again!
Contrary to the other reviews regarding the lids not fitting, I have had NO problem with my lids. The lids fit great, tight, and the way they are supposed to. You SHOULD NOT put the lids in the dishwasher though. (As with any lid) Bowl quality is excellent and non skid bottoms are excellent as well. It doesn't appear that they will come off...Sizes are PERFECT! Highly recommeded product for the money! I would DEFINITELY purchase these as a gift for someone! The inside is like a brushed steel look - awesome!

4-0 out of 5 stars GREAT BOWLS, AWFUL LIDS
Like the last reviewer said, these lids don't fit--at all! The largest bowl now has no lid for it because it kept popping off and in trying to force it to stay on, it ripped about an inch right through the curved sealed area and into the center. I bought these bowls for four reasons: 1. They're food grade stainless steel; 2. They have non-skid silicone bottoms (works great, too); 3. They came with lids for storage; 4. Ease of portability to family gatherings, picnics, etc.
4-0 out of 5 stars misfit lids
I picked these out for my birthday and hubby purchased them for me. The lids do not fit well. So poorly, in fact, that the lids just come off by picking up the bowls and moving them. I filled one bowl with water, put the lid on, and held the lid on with both hands. I turned it upside down over the sink and the water just poured out, even with me trying to hold the lid on. They just don't fit at all. I do really like the look and sizes of the bowls. The rubber bottoms work well to keep the bowls from sliding around. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This baby delivers as promised
I have baked cinnamon rolls, pizza, and cookies, including macaroons on this mat and NOTHING sticks! The reverse side is designed for kneading dough. Again, no sticking! I am happy with the product, but have recently discovered plain parchment paper seems to work just as well(not for kneading dough though). I haven't had time to compare, but parchment seems to be the cheaper lo-tech way to achieve the same goal and can be torn to match the size of different baking sheets. Something to think about, eh?

5-0 out of 5 stars A must have for cookie sheets and baking trays

5-0 out of 5 stars Convenient Convenient Convenient
I recevied this product a few days ago and have got to tell you that it is a time and money saver. I use cookie sheets to bake stuff in and they tend to get really scratched up while cleaning. Got a little helper who insists on being your sous chef during food preparation? The tools in this kit are appropriately sized just for kids and are safe for children to use. The kit comes with a set of blue plastic measuring cups in 1/8-, 1/4-, 1/3-, 1/2-, and 1-cup sizes and red plastic measuring spoons for 1/4-, 1/2-, and 1 teaspoon and 1/2- and 1 tablespoon sizes. Kids learn valuable math concepts by measuring out quantities with these cups and spoons. In addition, the kit has a plastic funnel for no-mess pouring of liquid ingredients. Other tools include a wire whisk with a rubber-coated non-slip handle for beating eggs or batter, a wooden rolling pin for rolling out dough, a rubber spatula with a wooden handle for scraping every last bit of batter or frosting from a bowl, and a wooden spoon for stirring thicker concoctions. A metal melon baller with two scoop sizes gives fruit salads a dressier presentation. Finally, a pint-sized wooden-handled metal spatula is easier for kids to control when flipping mini burgers or removing cookies from a baking sheet. All tools come in a clear vinyl carrying case that travels easily to a friend's kitchen and keeps all utensils clean when not in use. This kit is a great gift for children who are clamoring to be involved during meal preparations. Read more

Most of us have become masters of multitasking--answering phones, checking e-mail, and reading simultaneously, and Corningware follows suit with dishes designed for the microwave, oven, tabletop, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Corningware's French White bakeware combines the functionality of classic designs with contemporary styling. This 2-1/2-quart oval baking dish is ideal for pastas, casseroles, or meats, and features a glass lid with an easy-to-grasp handle (but as with all Corningware and other ceramic or glass bakeware, you'll always need to use potholders when handling the dish or its lid). The dish itself has no handles; however, its impressive 10-year warranty (one year on the glass lid) more than compensates for this shortcoming. Read more

Some, such as the maple and oak, create delicate, ruffled leaves, just right for trimming a Thanksgiving pie--but don't overbrown, as they crack easily. The sturdier citrus leaf and shamrock do a great job on bread for tiny finger sandwiches, providing lots of fun for a play-date tea party! The cutters' small size makes them easy for little hands to operate, and the extra band of metal on the top edge helps prevent injury. Pop in the dishwasher for easy cleanup. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars nice set of cutters
Nice and sharp and clean up easily. And I like the handy storage tin. I used them to cut decorations for pie crusts and mini cookies for the holidays. I liked the crust decorations especially and will use them to decorate my pies on a regular basis. Such a little touch makes a big difference.

5-0 out of 5 stars A fine roasting pan.
Roasting meats has until very recently been by-and-large out of my scope of regular cooking-- I tended towards sauces, soups, stir fries, and so on.Largely stove-top work and if I were to prepare a piece of meat, it was generally in a skillet. For whatever reason, this has been changing recently, and it occured to me that rather than fumbling about with Pyrex dishes as roasting pan substitutes, I needed a real roasting pan.
