Wonderful!

This set is amazing. Each of items is perfect. Wrong size:a 10-inch shiled fits a 9-inch pie plate
My Pyrex pie plates are larger than standard.They're 10" pie plates instead of the usual 9" plates.So I figured that a 10" pie crust shield was what I needed:10" plate, 10" shield, right?

Great Mixing Bowls
Okay, let's not get too excited over a common mixing bowl, but, this bowl is better than the "standard" glass or metal mixing bowls I used to have. The greatest feature is the rubberized bottom which prevents the bowl from easliy slipping on the counter while mixing. The handle is nice and a pour spout that actually works.

I throughly recommend these bowls to anyone who does just about anything in the kitchen! They are truly amazing...I received this bowl and a set of glass bowls for a bridal shower gift several years ago.Needless to say I donated the glass bowls to Goodwill and since then have bought the entire set of Oxo Good Grip Bowls.I use the bowls all the time, and can't believe how nice they are and the non-skid bottom is a life-saver!!!

Before I bought this set, I read others' reviews and based on that I bought it.I love the measuring glass cups.I have one of a different brand and liquid always runs down the side when I'm trying to pour, but with these it doesn't.They work great!I would definitely suggest buying this set.

Beautiful and Versatile
I just cooked the Sauerbraten recipe from Molly Stevens "All About Braising" cookbook entirely in this pan.The results were fabulous. This pan is very versatile since it is quite wide (12") and deep enough to hold a 4LB chuck roast.You can crank up the heat to medium high to sear the meat and you will be get that great fond that adds so much taste to the sauce.The lid fits extremely well so that no braising liquid was lost in the 3 hours that the roast sat in the oven.The clean up was simple using a Dobie pad with detergent - really as easy as non-stick.This piece of cookware is so nice looking that we leave it out on the cooktop as kitchen decoration.So, while a Lodge dutch oven may work almost as well and is a lot cheaper, it can't compare to how great this pan looks in our kitchen.

If they made it out of better material it would be perfect...
It's a three-piece roasting rack--two sides and a long "pin" that holds them together. When assembled it has a rounded bottom and tall sides with handles. It's supposed to handle up to a 25 lb turkey, and after using it with a 22 lb turkey I believe that claim. The tall sides and handles make it easy to remove your turkey from your roasting pan, and the wide rounded base holds the turkey nicely up out of the drippings without crushing the rib cage the way angled racks do. In fact, my only beef with the shape was that it was too wide to fit in our Maxam Steel Roaster, which is currently my favorite roasting pan.
