Parchment Replacement
For the most part, I no longer use parchment paper when baking.This has saved me money since parchment can be pricey.I have the half sheet and quarter sheet sizes.
Silpat=easy baking
When I first saw a silpat sheet used on "Emeril Live", I thought the easy release it showed was too good to be true.Still I thought it was worth a shot since I love to make cookies.The silpat means no shortening is needed because the dough goes straight on the silicon mat.Clean up is a snap because nothing sticks and there is no extraneous grease.Successive batches can be done on the same cookie sheet with the same Silpat so long as you rinse and wipe it down between.

Wonderful product...
This is a great bowl, I am very glad I bought it. The texture on the outside helps to grip it. The size is perfect for many, many applications -not too big or too small. I love pyrex products for durability.

I purchased this bowl for $2.99, what a steal.The outside is textured which gives added insurance that the bowl won't slip from wet hands, etc.I love the clear glass and of course Pyrex' name speaks for itself for durability.My family have Pyrex bowls that we've had forever and they are still going strong.Great product, buy it for the name, buy it for the great bowl and value.

Good, but should come with a lid
Pyrex has two different lines, Serveware and Storageware, that really should be combined.This is a nice-looking bowl and it works fine for heating in the microwave before serving.It works fine in the refrigerator, too, but it doesn't come with a lid; you need to add disposable plastic wrap.Since the sides are tapered you can stack multiple bowls in little cupboard space.
