Not for ALL 5 Quart Stand Mixers - Make sure it fits yours!
I bought this for my wife as a gift. We have a KG25H7X 5 Quart Professional HD Mixer, purchased (and probably only sold) at a major warehouse club where things generally don't Cost too much. Because it was summer and we weren't doing much baking, it sat in the cupboard for the better part of six months. When we finally did have a need for a second bowl, we were shocked to find that it didn't fit our particular model of mixer. It comes close, but it is obviously a slightly different diameter.
Be VERY CAREFUL...
I have a KitchenAid 5-Quart Professional Stand Mixer (bowl lift type, and not an Artisan) and I ordered this part only to find that it did not fit.Upon contacting KitchenAid I was told that the correct bowl for my mixer is the KN25WPBH (polished stainless) or the KN25PBH (brushed stainless).The KN25WPBH and the KN25PBH fit mixer models that start with "KG".At the time of writing this review the bowls that fit my "KG" mixer were, unfortunately, not available through Amazon.com.I am not exactly sure which series this K5ASBP bowl fits because this bowl is not even listed under stand mixer accessories at [...].

Check C Meyers review, she has it correct. After my last "unknown brand" torch died from 10+ yrs of use (ignition switch snapped, my husband uses it for various jobs i.e.: heat fitting hoses, removing washers from pipes, killing small patches of weeds, removing fraise (sic) in clothes or furniture, hair in drains, ect...) we bought those similar$5.99 orange base ones, only to have them break after a few uses or they do not work at all!

Great deal, nice bowl, sturdy construction
While I wasn't willing to plunk down $80 for an overpriced All-Clad mixing bowl, I was looking for a stronger than usual, commercial-style mixing bowl, sturdier than what is typically sold at say, Target or Bed Bath & Beyond.

My husband and I just received our VillaWare V5375 Cookie Press.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
I am an avid cook and baker.I used this unit twice and it broke after the 2nd useage. I found it to be very slow; the charge didn't last long so I had to keep it plugged in.The dough had to be very very soft in order for the press to produce the cookies.I am very disappointed that such an expensive item would operate so poorly.

This was the worst baking adjunct that I ever purchased and the first item I have returned after actually using it.It does not hold a charge, it is extremely slow and for the most part ineffectual.My ancient hand operated cookie press does the job perfectly and in half the time, however, due to arthritis it is hard for me to use. Great for muffins
I don't understand the person who complained about these rings for pancakes. They are clearly for English Muffins, and they work extremely well with those, and with crumpets.

May be great for crumpets but not for pancakes
