The Easiest bowls!
I was using williams sonoma latte bowls for mixing. THey are cute, and come in trendy colors, but they were heavy and I needed ease of use more than I needed trendiness. Oxo has won me over. I love that the bowls are lightweight and have handles, and they don't slip! THey are the PERFECT sizes, and easy clean. I have NOTHING bad to say!

You will never buy a different kind of mixing bowl again!
This is the single most helpful thing I've run across.The non-stick material on the bottom of the bowl allows you to whisk and mix without fear of the bowl scooting across a surface.The handle is so simple to hold onto.There is a slight pour spout and although mine is a couple of years old, it is in great shape.Indestructable!

I would highly recommend these mixing bowls, they are amazing! Having grown up with my mothers old bulky metal mixing bowls it was so nice to receive a set of these for a wedding gift. Love It!
Before I bought this set, I read others' reviews and based on that I bought it.I love the measuring glass cups.I have one of a different brand and liquid always runs down the side when I'm trying to pour, but with these it doesn't.They work great!I would definitely suggest buying this set.

Love the product not the cups
I am a big fan of pyrex and was really excited to see such a diverse set for a pretty low price.However I am not at all thrilled with the glass measuring cups.All three of mine constantly spill when I'm trying to pour something out of it and into a bowl or container.It's like the mouth of cup is too small or something.Everytime I use them something spills out and onto the counters.I would have thought pyrex brand would have been much better. ... I LOVE THESE
I have had my cooling racks for 10+ years.I wouldn't give them up for anything.I have't had a problem with the legs bending.I use them to cool cookies, cakes, and to dry pasta.You do have to cool the cookies about 5 minutes before transferring to the cooling racks but it takes me that long to get organized anyway so it's not an imposition.Cakes have to cool 10 minutes before transferring as well.I do a lot of cooking and baking and have very little counter space so use these a lot!I was looking for them to give a set to my daughter for Christmas with her pasta machine I'm giving her.I'll tell her if she doesn't like them, give them back to me next year as my gift. :)

Good Enough
I purchased this cooling rack and was somehwat disappointed with it's performance. The legs that make the racks stackable bend easily and so the tiers are no longer level and cookies slide around on them. Also, you need to let your cookies cool on the cookie sheets before transferring them to this rack because the distance between the bars is so wide that cookies don't get enough support and will brake and fall through if they are too warm. Nevertheless, they still work and are great when counter space is a premium, just make sure you let them cool before using this cooling rack.Read more

Best Rolling Pin Ever--Review from Pastry Cook
I am a professional baker who work with a lots pastry and bread dough daily. I bought this for my personal useage and it work incredible well on any pastry.I strongly recommend to those people who got warm hands like me!! Just throw it in the fridge for about 20 minutes.You won't need any extra flour to roll out your dough. It won't stick on your pastry dough or melt the butter.It make your working aera or kitchen super easy to clean.By the way,its weight is perfact for me. It won't tense my muscle after a whole day of work.

great rolling pin
After years if using a handled rolling pin I finally decided to get one that suits my rolling style. The handles on my old pin were wasted space and my old pin's rolling surface wasn't as wide as I wanted. So, I decided to look for a French pin or straight bakers pin. When I saw this one my little brain immediately said 'A HAH!!! This can be chilled!' And as those of us who frequently make pie dough, the colder the better for a flakey crust.

Such a deal
These are 3 very nice bowls. you would pay more than this just for the large bowl alone.They are heavy ceramic. Small bowl is great for mixing up some eggs or serving upi some guacamole. large bowl for serving pasta or salads.

Still learning -- but fun
I wanted to make some cookies with my 3-year old that were tasty, pretty and easy, so I bought this press. I should start by saying that I do not know how to use a cookie press, nor am I very good at making cookies in general. I read all the reviews, and the only drawback to this one I could see was that it had no recipes -- so I tried it.
Only a few cookie disks (the small ones) work...
I just received this cookie press last week and tried it during the weekend. The first batch was a disaster. None of dough stuck to the cookie sheet. Turned out my daughter and I had to roll the dough and use cookie cutters to make the cookies. For the second batch, I decided to use the Butter Snow Flakes recipe mentioned in the previous review. The result was a little bit different. Still the cookie shapes were terrible. I was using the flower disc, around one or two (or none) petals of the flower would stick to the cookie sheet.

I received this press two nights ago and immediately made a batch of spritz cookies...they were the easiest, least frustrating spritz I have ever made!!This cookie press works absolutely perfectly.It is made entirely of plastic with a notched metal shaft.Each press of the lever pushes the "press" down another notch, dispersing the precise amount of dough needed per cookie.Clean-up is easy with warm soapy water.It does not come with a recipe, but I used the Butter Snow Flakes from Allrecipes, and the dough was the perfect consistancy.Again, wonderful cookie press.Skip the Wiltons, the metal one and especially the battery-operated one, and get this instead.You won't regret it!! ... Great product!
This is the perfect product if you're tired of using parchment paper that you have to tear off of a roll. You never seem to get the right size and the paper never lays flat. The pieces come already cut and easily fit your cookie sheets.I've used them to line loaf pans to make meatloaf and round pans to make cakes as well as for lining the cookie sheets.The paper comes in a heavy cardboard tube that fits perfectly in the pull-out deep-drawer under the sink where I keep all my plastic wrap and aluminum foil-type products.I'll definitely order this product again!

Chef's Torch Was Defective
This torch was great for the few seconds that it actually worked.It would sear pepper skins marvelously for 30-60 seconds and then just shut off.Either the stop would be spontaneous or the safety lock would click up and shut the torch off.It then could not be turned on until a 10 minute or so cooldown had been allowed.Then the torch could be turned on and another 30 seconds or so of operation enjoyed.Overall, a disappointing item. ... I've used this almost daily since I've gotten it!My cookie sheets are all getting old and marked up from being used for pizza, fish, drip pans... or whatever else we need at that moment.This baking mat bakes wonderfully... everything just pops off easily and it makes clean up a snap!!!I would highly recommend this to anyone!!!

You would THINK this was great
But...the instructions are difficult to follow and for a timer it's counter intuitive.I also had mine for 24 hours and the little plastic tabs that hold the cover on broke off leaving me with what looks like a broken calculator.No one from the company returned my emails, so I guess it goes in the drawer with the junk.

A necessity for any kitchen
I am a pastry chef in SF. I came across this calculator while in culinary school a few years back. One of the best darn tools I use. Every kitchen should have a calculator, but why not one that will also help with conversions? Get this as a gift for anyone you know who loves to cook.
