Beautiful bowl, but misleading item description
This bowl is lovely, but that doesn't fix the fact that it doesn't fit in my Kitchenaid Accolade.The first line under "Features" here on Amazon reads, "Works with any KitchenAid Pivot Head stand mixer", which the Accolade IS (a pivot head mixer).But this bowl does not fit in the base of the mixer, it is to narrow, so it doesn't lock in place.So be sure to check the quart size of your mixer before you purchase this bowl.

JUST THE RIGHT SIZE MIXING BOWL
The bowl arrived in perfect condition and came quicker than expected.I like the size.It is great for mixing smaller amounts. A lot of times the 5 quart bowl that came with the mixer is just too big.

Baker's Edge pan is a hit!
I wanted to add my two cents to the other ratings.I followed the history of the pan through the contest to its final production and recently purchased mine.It is well made, attractive and easy to clean.For Father's Day I made the recipe for Pineapple Upside Down Cake from the www.BakersEdge.com site.It looked pretty and tasted just as good.I am definitely going to be using it as often as possible, not just for brownies but for other cakes too.I used a yellow cake box mix for the upside down cake and it fit perfectly so I am going to start experimenting.Again, a great buy, a great gift for bakers, a great addition to your kitchen.

We have been using the Baker's Edge for about a month now and have perfected our cobbler recipes. Very easy to bake great desserts. We use canned low sugar pie filling and in no time we have an elegant baked dessert. I recommend this bakeware along with the other happy campers.

Best advice:Buy Quality!
When I was first married over 30 years ago, I remember my mom saying that even if it seemed extravagant, it was worth it to buy quality cookware. So listening to mom, we used our wedding gift money and bought the top of the line cookware.I am still using that same dutch oven, suace pan, skillet, and right now I think they will probably last longer than I will!

Pyrex is the best!
These bowls are some of the most versatile bowls I've ever used.Not only can you mix in them, they are microwavable and dishwasher safe.I have used these bowls for at least 10 years and they continue to be unscratched or cracked.These bowls are a must for any cook's kitchen!

Smaller than expected
These bowls were a lot smaller than I had expected.Even in the big one I have to be careful when I use my mixers so that the batter doesn't splatter all over the floor and the counter.

Just right!
I like the sizes, I like the weight and thickness of the bowls. I used the large one and it was just right for pureeing a sixteen ounce can of whole peeled tomatoes. I used the large bowl for the wet ingredients and the middle sized bowl for the dry while making banana bread and they were just right. I paid $10 to get them from Target/Amazon including shipping. Less Work With Better Results
I have only one complaint about this rolling pin: that it wasn't available thirty years ago!The first use of this Kitchenaid Nonstick Rolling Pin proved its vast superiority to the more traditional pins I've used, and subsequent experiments with other pins confirmed it.Its increased heaviness does more of the work for the cook, without being too heavy for delicate doughs. The increased circumference allows it to contact more of the food to be rolled.The nonstick surface resists sticking nicely, and its handles are much easier to hold than either the ball-bearing type or the stationary ones.In short, this pin allows the cook to get on with the job, and to do it better.

For something that needs to be kept 'germ free'....
this item certainly was not packaged with any consideration of hygiene.As a matter of fact, it was not 'packaged' at all.Thus, we have a combination of Chinese (country of origin) germs, Amazon germs and middleman germs.At the very least, this brush should have been packed in a cheap plastic bag.Not a very auspicious start for this highly rated item...

Would give no stars if it were an option
After using only a few times, the bristles fell out in big clumps.I was using it to brush olive oil on filo dough when it starting falling apart, and I wondered if the oil had softened the glue that held them in. Will look for a replacement that uses something besides just glue to attachbristles to the handle.

Did I "Chip" this right
Several commenters have expressed that you have to go easy on Sango because of chipping.Well, I have owned my 8-piece setting and 5-piece completer set for 4 years and none of them are chipped!As a matter of fact, they were stored away in boxes for 2 years when I temporarily relocated and was not using them. Perhaps the chipping is due to washing them in the dishwasher rather than by hand.I used to always wash my dishes by hand and not until recently I began putting them in the dishwasher; still no chipping!I am so happy with Sango, and the compliments from friends, that I am purchasing the 3-piece bowl set.Sango really is a fine show and a great buy!

Hand Thrown Bowls?
I've enjoyed all of my Sango Splash dishes, bowls and accessories. People constantly ask me if they were made locally. There is only one caution in using Sango Splash. Use care when washing and storing to avoid chipping your items.

I actually own pretty much all the serving sets & dishes...I love the color and get compliments on them all the time...I've had my place setting for several years.So far I haven't encountered the chipping many have spoken of, but I can see where you would need to be cautious.I too agree they are not so great for heating in the microwave, but I really didn't purchase them for that use...Can't beat the price or the look!! ... Great Mixing Bowls
Okay, let's not get too excited over a common mixing bowl, but, this bowl is better than the "standard" glass or metal mixing bowls I used to have. The greatest feature is the rubberized bottom which prevents the bowl from easliy slipping on the counter while mixing. The handle is nice and a pour spout that actually works.

I throughly recommend these bowls to anyone who does just about anything in the kitchen! They are truly amazing...I received this bowl and a set of glass bowls for a bridal shower gift several years ago.Needless to say I donated the glass bowls to Goodwill and since then have bought the entire set of Oxo Good Grip Bowls.I use the bowls all the time, and can't believe how nice they are and the non-skid bottom is a life-saver!!!

Just like it's bigger brother, this bowl is just top notch.The plastic is light and comfortable for hand mixing and the base keeps the bowl from slipping during heavy mixing or using an electric hand mixer.It's sturdy and holds up to my heavy-handed battering and the dishwasher.The horizontal handle allows it to be stacked and the pour spout makes it easy to empty the batter.These things are the best bowls I've ever used except a professional stainless one many years ago.I'm sure that would cost 5x as much if you can even find them outside of a restaurant supply store.Don't hesitate to upgrade your old junky bowls! ...
