a total disappointment!
I bought this product thinking it would be a fun, healthy way to bake donuts at home for my family.I am an avid cook and baker and to me it looked like fun, until I tried it!The donuts stick to the pans terribly and you have to mutilate them to remove them.The pans themselves are hard to clean.As for the donuts, they taste more like a chewy muffin and do not keep well (say if you make them the night before for breakfast)I have tried several of the recipes and have been disappointed each time.I am sorry I wasted money on this product!

Not perfect, but effective
Anyone expecting to duplicate Krispy Kremes or Dunkin Donuts should stay away.But the product does deliver satisfactory cake donuts, similar to some boxed store brands.
1 star is at least one star too many for this product.
I thought this could be kind of a fun product when I first saw it. At $20, I resisted buying it though. But then I found one at Target on clearance at $9.98. The box was trashed, but only one of the decorating tips was missing, so I bought it.

With this versatile set a cook can bake many treats. The 10-inch loaf pan bakes breads and cakes. The 11-inch tart pan bakes tarts and flans with classically fluted sides. The 10-inch springform pan bakes cheesecakes and tortes with dimpled bottoms, and because it has another bottom, it also bakes tube cakes and breads that can be served with their bottoms on top, displaying a classic braided shape. Kaiser 5-pc Tinplate
I ordered this mainly for the springform pan as I make alot of cheesecakes. The pieces aren't very sturdy but do the job & the whole set costs less than I would have paid for just the springform pan alone.

Great pans!
I just made a cinnamon swirl cake using the tube insert for the springform pan, and it came out great! These are not non stick, but a little bit of non-stick spray takes care of that. The latch seals the pan nice and tight. They are a pleasure to use, and plan to use them often.

Cannot beat it for the price
I purchased this set simply because it was so inexpensive and I've had good luck with Kaiser items in the past.I just used the springform pan for the first time, to make a New York-style cheesecake for Thanksgiving dinner, and I have no complaints whatsoever.The springform set performed beautifully, and cleanup was easy.No, this set is not really heavy metal, but it does the job, and for someone like me who uses springform and flan pans maybe 5 or 6 times a year each, the quality more than suffices.Quite a bargain if you ask me. ... Perfect for "new" bakers (& old)
I bought this set for my new sister in law that is self described "non-domestic". She always burned everything and nothing turned out how it was supposed to be so when getting a better set than dollar store versions she's stepped up in her self esteem and doesn't burn as much stuff and with calphalon's even baking it's perfect for her. I will be buying more calphalon for future gifts for my sister in law, and myself!

Top of the line, high-quality stuff
I love to cook, but have never been much of a baker. This set was given to me as a gift, so now I'm a baker too!
Made in CHINA, need I say more?
Almost every China made product that I use is of the worst quality and these are no exception. I bought this set and a larger flat baking pan for my wife, THE VERY FIRST TIME I cooked something with either of the flat pans they warped in the oven. When they cool down they flaten out again, so everytime I cook with them I hear a crashing sound from the oven. After reading other reviews on Calphalon, I thought I was buying quality bakeware. Got the packages and saw the fine print reading "Made in China", somehow I knew there was going to be a problem. So I've decided to ditch this garbage and get something made in the U.S. like pyrex glass bakeware. Its not non-stick, but since non-stick is a PITA to take care of(can't wash in the dishwasher, can't stack the pans w/ out a protection sheet so they don't get scratched, etc) I don't really care. Non-stick spray is cheap. Don't get suckered, and perhaps support the U.S. economy at the same time and buy something else.

Plastic Lids Too Small
I should have looked for this review before purchasing this set so I would have known about the lids. Some people will really be getting only a 4-piece set. It's true, as another reviewer has stated, that the plastic lids are virtually unusable on these two bowls. Now, if you happen to own the wonderful bowls Corningware manufactured in the U.S., you are in luck because the lids will fit those bowls. Fortunately for me, I'm in that category. I am quite disappointed that the bowls are stoneware and have the rough bottoms. My old bowls are not stoneware and have lovely, smooth bottoms, so there are no worries about scratching anything.

Plastic lids didn't fit our dishes
I just bought this set of CorningWare and to our dissapointment, the plastic covers were too small for both of the dishes. With a lot of effort - we were able to get one of the lids to fit, but there is no hope with the other one. It's unfortunate, because I thought the lids would come in handy for storing leftovers. Aside from the problem with the plastic lids - Corningware has continued to provide good quality dishware.

Love It!
I love this stuff!I have had many sets of this corningware and I keep getting more.It comes in such a variety of sizes so I can always find the perfect one that I need.It can go in the microwave and the oven.And nothing I cook ever sticks to the inside of it when I clean it!I highly recommend this for your kitchen needs! ... A previous reviewer wrote about an experience using the Batter Pro for batter, which I must admit, I have never done. Just because battering and deep-frying food is a luxury we very rarely indulge in. Now that I have read of all the problems, maybe I'll try it, just to see!
