Great as a dog bowl!
I purchased 3 of these casserole dishes.I use them as water bowls for my dogs because my dogs don't like to drink out of plastic or metal, and the ceramic bowls break too easily.These are perfect, even to use outside.I can put them in the dishwasher and have no smells that the dogs don't like.By the way - I have two dogs, and the third dish is for me to cook with. ... I love Fiestaware
I got the turquoise 70-ounce casserole (with lid) as a gift for my sister in law and she loves it. We all love the Fiestaware dishes - they are beautiful and hold up well! We have yet to break one and whenever anyone brings a dish to the home, we joke about misplacing that one so that it stays there! It's a wonderful dish. I'd highly recommend any Fiestaware product.

Great piece, but don't expect it to arrive quickly
I have the tangerine one and I love it --it's great for using in the microwave to make Rice a Roni and stuff like that.However, my father ordered the Periwinkle one off of my wish list and it kept getting backordered --for months.We finally cancelled the order and I got something else from my wish list.

Le Creuset Oval Casserole
Great quality dish. It really looks great and it is very durable. And washing it is so easy - just soak it and it will always look brand new. The handles are great as well, they make it safe to carry the casserole from the oven to the table. Good stuff, what can I say. I have couple of these in different sizes and I use them as often as I can.

I own many pyrex pieces and this is one of many. This is a piece that you will use for many times. I've baked macaroni and cheese to cobbler in the oven, made salads, store vegetables, mashed potatoes to various desserts to store in refrigerator as well as freezing spaghetti sauce in the freezer. Not deep enough
This is a nice-looking pan, but not deep enough for lasagna.Does anyone make a deep dish lasagna pan that's doesn't weigh a ton?

It's All-Clad! Come on, I expected quality!
I found this pan on clearance at BB&B for 49.99 and jumped on it. What a great price. I was so excited to finally have a piece of All-Clad in my kitchen. And finally a real pan to roast in. Up until now I had been using my large Emerilware saute pan for roasts. I'd burn my hand on the handle while making reductions everytime because I'd forget it just came out of the oven. I used it tonight for the first time to roast chicken. The chicken came out beautifully cooked, perfectly browned. I pulled it out of the oven and put the pan on my flat-top stove and removed the chicken. I went on to make my reduction and guess what? The pan is wobbling. All-Clad, warped! What a huge disappointment. I'm not sure whether I should have All-Clad replace it or if I should just return it before the 30 days runs out. After reading other reviews, I'm thinking I should probably take it back. The good news is that I knew the pan was hot because, hey, it looks likea roasting pan, not a regular on the stove-top pan, so I didn't burn myself. I really expected better of All-Clad.

Love it!
Had lots of Pyrex over the years, they hold up pretty well to my style of cooking. They are not unbreakable, of course, but they do not need to be babied either.
