A great value
I am a bit of a Le Creuset fanatic, and I admit it. I use this dish constantly. I am cooking for just my husband and myself usually and this is a good size for loads of recipes. It's a great workhorse that can take a lot of heat and a lot of knocks. It cleans up beautifully. Highly recommended.

Le Creuset, Le WOW!
This little dish is perfection.I'm rather hard on my bakeware so I was a little leery of buying something like Le Creuset if I was going to stain, chip and otherwise wreck it.All of my worries were unfounded.I've never owned stoneware that was so easy to clean.I've burned on (BADLY) casserole and au gratin potatoes and with an hour soak, you would never know that anything had burned onto it.Yesterday I had also dropped this pan out of my oven.I was prepared to see chipping, breakage, splits... something.Nope.This pan survived about a 1 foot fall on its handle right out of my oven without as much as a scratch.

Great accent piece with many kitchen uses
I had been searching for the ideal vessel to hold kosher salt on my kitchen counter, and this petite casserole is sturdy enough to do the trick.I was disappointed that this item isn't made in France like other Le Creuset products -- it's from southeast Asia -- but it still captures the essential Le Creuset style and adds some welcome color against my dark granite countertops.

I received white too!!
I placed my first order for the red casserole in March.It was not slated to be delivered until May!But, I waited patiently for it.In May I see that it has finally been shipped and delivered to my house, but I never received it.So they send a replacement.And it is white, not red.And apparently they no longer have red.

There is no RED,I received White too.
Amazon is out of RED.After waiting for 2 months, they shipped a white while the packing list states red.When contacted, they said that they do not have a red for replacement.If I want a white I can get it elsewhere for $7.99.Not I have to go through the trouble of returning it. ... Read more

A staple for every kitchen
Sure, I tried to justify a more expensive/fancier baking dish. But it always comes back to Pyrex - tried and true, and a great price. It's a great basic for any kitchen.

How awesome is this??
I have had a ton of 9x13 metal pans with the lids because I usually end up taking baked good to work or other functions, after being frustrated with rusting pans, or hard to clean pan, I had given up hope on having a covered 9X13 - well then Pyrex did it!I love the flexiable lid, the easy cleanup of the pan, and the fact that all my products come out cooked evenly.This pan is worth more than $8.00 easily!

So pleased with this girly heart pan!
This pan is gorgeous and cute and is super easy to clean. I know its gonna last forever because my parents cooked with this brand and those pans are still around. I do have to say I prefer the red over my parents'choice of orange, though. And lastly, how adorable is a heart shape pan? It makes me smile when I am cooking rice.

Not only are Le Creuset products beautiful, they are well designed and extremely durable. How many companies offer a 101 year warranty on cookware???? Le Creuset is the only one I know of to offer such a warranty, which in my opinion demonstrates the quality you receive when purchasing their items.

Great pan!
I have used this pan over and over again, and am glad to say it cooks perfectly every time!The bread comes out evenly with a great shape!
Great bread *pan*
It's hard to call this a bread pan when it is so pretty and certainly not your average *pan*. I agree with the other reviewer about the beautiful turnout of sweetbreads.The crusts turn out even and brown and I have never had a problem with sticking even when forgetting to grease the pan (which i forget to do.....a lot).I make turkey loaf in mine too and have even used it once for emergency polenta with cheese and tomato sauce. No sticking. That occasion is what prompted me to buy 6 other pieces of Le Creuset stoneware. I highly recommend it.

Simply The BEST
I have had my Romertopf clay pot for over 15 years and use it at least once per month.It absolutely, positively makes the easiest, juiciest chicken I've ever eaten.I simply wash and dry the chicken, salt & pepper it, place 1 cut lemon in the cavity and put the chicken in the pot.One hint if you like crispy skin, take the Romertopf top off 10 minutes before the chicken in done cooking.It always shocks me that everyone doesn't know about this pot and use it constantly.So worth the price.You will not be disappointed.

Fabulous over cooker
We've had two Romertopfs for over 25 years. They are perfect oven pots for most birds and many long-cooking meats. About cleaning: the reason the directions say use no soap is the porous clay absorbs the soap and renders it back into the food. However, when your pot(s) become really well seasoned from thousands of cookings, these restrictions no longer seem to apply. We do use soap, sparingly and quickly, to remove grease. (Note that my wife, Victoria Wise, is a professional cook and cookbook author; she would instantly taste soap in the food if there were any. Run an Amazon search for her name and you'll find descriptions of her many amazing books.) Also, we find that now that these pots are so seasoned we can stick them into a hot oven with no problem. Finally, we no longer need to soak them.

Perfect size for turkey parts (and whole ducks)
Two, large turkey wings fit perfectly in the bottom of the 4-quart Romertopf ("113" stamped on the bottom). In the 3 years that I've had mine, turkey wings are the only thing I've cooked in it although a duck is slated to be cooked in it tonight. As with the wings, this is the right size for anyone wanting to cook a whole duck.

An excellent lunch container...
Ever since I read the article on how unhealthy it is to use plastic container to pack your lunch and reheating it in microwave I have decided to use pyrex container to put my lunch in.This pyrex container is better than the regular pyrex container that comes with a microwavable plastic cover without the venting tab.The cover without the venting tab tends to shrivel up a bit after heating due to the steam and pressure resulting from heating.This pyrex container will not have that problem as it has a venting tab which allows the steam to come out during and after heating, consequently, will not result in shriveling.Furthermore, it may also decrease the likelihood of your food touching the plastic cover which maybe carcinogenic to your health. ...
