small, but nice
As mentioned in a previous review, these are 5x7 dishes.Excellent for single servings of lasagne, manicotti, etc.The sides only come up about an inch though, making a shepherd's pie or pot pie type dish a bit on the small side.The cookware is oven safe, but not broiler safe, due to the silicone handles.

Great bakeware
I ordered 2 sets of these and they are perfect for us now that we are "empty nesters". Just the right size for individual servings, or a small side dish for two. Now I am back for more to give as gifts, you can't beat the price and quality.

This Teeny Tiny Pumpkin
is made in Thailand, not France as you would expect from a Le Creuset item. In the product description, it says, "Festive and fun. Welcome fall with the addition of these petite pumpkin casseroles to your set. Serve up individual servings of pumpkin soup or fill it with cinnamon for an added spice of life. Superior CAST IRON construction retains and distributes heat quickly and evenly. Limited lifetime warranty." This product is part of the Le Creuset stoneware line and IS NOT cast iron. The lid is not at all tight fitting, either. This casserole is very small. I know 12 oz isn't much, but I did think it would be big enough to hold at least enough food for an individual casserole serving. As a (very) proud owner of 16 pieces of Le Creuset, it saddens me to have to give this only 3 stars, but I had to deduct because of the poor fitting lid, it being made in Thailand, the incorrect product discription and the size. good item but not really on sale at amazon
I bought this item when it was on sale at amazon but when i received the items i realised that they are manufacturing defective items. lids do not fit exactly on the bows and bowl has some black small dust like spot in it.
It is really great product
I like the amazon customer service as they replaced my order when I got the damaged one.

These baking dishes are an excellent value. The 2 quart is the perfect size for casseroles and small roasts. The 3 quart is also great for baking cakes and clean up is a breeze. The price is also a great deal. I priced these in stores before finding them on amazon and each time the price was almost double for both pieces. An excellent value!!

Perfect for single servings
I use these to bake individual Fritattas, Polenta dishes (this keeps us from eating a giant pan of it), baked macaroni and chees and roasted potatoes and peppers. They make a nice presentation. I don't think the reviewer below realizes these arebaking dishes and not a stovetop dish. Certainly they are bakeware as that is what an Au Gratin is. I am back today to buy two more.Great item.

Great pie plate!
This is a great little basic pie plate, especially if you're starting out in a new kitchen.It's also great for heating up fish too in the microwave and baking it in the oven for one or two people.It's not a deep dish pie plate and certainly, don't take it from the fridge and put it in the oven.Pyrex is notorious for their exploding dishes.That said, for what it is price-wise, you'll get a good dish that's very versatile but works well too.It scratches rather easily so be careful with clean up and cutting too.Nice plate - I've had mine for 15 years and it's still going strong. ... Delightful to bring to the table
This beautiful casserole is great for cooking the side veg for dinner and it comes to the table (perhaps with soup) and is very attractive. It also is nice for oatmeal in the morning.
cute & heat distribution unsurpassed but......
I am a big fan of Le Creuset products in general and own many pieces. I like this pepper, however the biggest pluses are really the aesthetics, and of course the heat distribtion. Doesn't clean well. I have a collection of these.. pumpkin, the red heart, tomato. Perfect sizes for one or two people
I too think these are small but I purchased them specifically because of that :-) The smallest size is perfect for baked polenta dishes or veggie, rice or almost any other side side dish for 1 or two people (I use mine for my husband and I). I highly recommend this set to single people or couples. Your smaller portions won't dry out the way they can in larger baking dishes.

I ordered this based on the size.I only was cooking for two and the size of the pans are perfect serving size for baking small herbed potatoes or herbed veggies.Clean up was a snap.The pans held up very well in the dishwasher too.When serving the food, the dishes looked great as well.I own other Le Creuset cooking items and this reflects their reputation for quality. Good buy
I am quite happy with this dish. I've been using it constantly since it arrived and had no problems. I guess maybe I could have opted for a clear one, rather than a colored one but it doesn't really affect the cooking. I've used it in the oven, the microwave and put it in th fridge with no trouble. If you don't have any Pyrex dishes, try this one. You'll find the size very convenient and at this price, why not?

Great soup pot
Living in Louisiana, I have learned that the pot will definitely make a difference between an OK Gumbo and a GREAT Gumbo...I have made great gumbo with this pot!Also a great bean pot!

Great everyday pot
I have had this pot for about a year now.I use it mainly for chuck or sirloin tip roasts.I can easily throw in the chuck roast (6-7 pounds) at 400degrees (water added) and end up with a mouth-watering, tender roast in under 2 hours.It retains the heat exceptionally well.I also like the overall weight of this vessel--not too thin and definitely not heavy at all.Great for everything where a pot of this size is needed--stovetop or oven.I will be getting my sister one for the holidays.

The Corningware dish is great, my 1 star is not for the item, it is for Dynadirect.They are HORRIBLE!Item was backordered, but they never told me and charged my credit card.When I called they finally told me it was backordered and I ask that they cancel the order and refund my money.Bad, Bad Service
