Reliable low cost heater
Very reliable and low cost heater fan for use in a small area. Been using it for 2 years with no problems.

Best $20 spent
Best 20$ I've ever spent. It does have some flaws as stated previously in other reviews, the knobs are hard to read but I've found that I use it so much that I really don't need to be able to see it anymore. The thermometer seems stable, I never have a problem with it getting too hot in the winter, and it manages to heat my efficiency apartment very well. The cord is 'regular' length so it's not tiny and I don't need an extension cord. Over all on a students budget I've definitely found a winner.

Perfect Small Room Heater!
I bought this heater after seeing how highly rated it is- and you guys were right!This is the best little heater ever.I bought it to keep me warm in the bathroom (I have one of those awful new house designs where the master bathroom is completely open to the master bedroom.)It works great.Gets very hot or just warm thanks to the dial.The only down side is that there is no off switch- but it is just as easy to pull the cord out of the wall as it is to turn a switch off!Portable and can be taken from room to room in one hand.

Great Heater for Office or Bath Room!
I love this heater. I use it all the time at work and it keeps me warm and toasty. I love that it has a dial so that if you get too hot you can turn it down. It heats up super quick and turns itself on and off to keep the right temperature. Its nice and small and has a nice look to it too.I like it so much that I'm buying another one to keep my bathroom warm for when I take showers.Oh, and for the people that say there is no on/off switch, you just turn the dial all the way down to turn it off. The light stays on, but the heater will not come on if you have the dial all the way down. Trust me, I have it plugged in at work all the time.

Amazing heat output
Recently bought because our furnace went out.This is able to keep our house super warm, maybe even too warm.
Disappointing
This radiator was a big disappointment. Even if my heater is on lowest setting both of the red lights come on, indicating that it is on the highest setting. Analog thermostat has no indication of what temperature I have set it on. 96 settings are tiny 96 pins that are needed to moved to set on and off periods (you can move many at a time though). However, cannot set different on and off periods for weekend. Even when it is off, it makes a little periodic noise --- like a clock which is disconcerting at the least.

The best electric space heater I have ever used !
I have tried the quartz and ceramic heaters which often require a small fan to circulate air past the elements to heat the air. I have also been in homes that use natural gas for gravity heat, central air, built in electric ceiling heat, and a natural gas wall heater.Most of the gas or electric element heaters that I mentioned tend to dry out and remove some of the oxygen from the air which can cause that uncomfortable "soar throat and headache" feeling.These DeLonghi oil-filled radiators don't seem to negatively effect the air since they use clean electricity and simply heat up the air through efficient convection and radiation.This model TRD0715T has side metal tubing that creates more of a vacuum effect which seems to make the hot air blow out of the top of the unit without the use of a fan. DeLonghi rightfully nicknames this as a "Dragon model" since has the effect of a forced air heater without the noise or extra electricity requirements.On low 700W, medium 900W, or high 1500W settings you can feel the hot air at least two feet above the top of the heater. A simple analog thermostat dial enables you to choose your desired temperature level for the unit to operate at. Other nice features include a 96 position, 24 hour timer that allows you to customize when the heater turns on or off throughout the day.There are also some nice safety features such as an automatic shut-off if the unit is tipped over or if the temperature of the unit gets too high. Although the sides and top of the device get hot it does not burn you if you happen to accidently touch it. These devices are very efficient compared to the other electric heaters and many people use them as very efficient room space heaters and they are able to turn down their central air systems to save on gas or electricity.

It blows.:)But it's great!
It's a good fan, and does exactly what I expected it to.It moves a pretty good amount of air at a moderate amount of noise.On the "Super" setting, there's no way I would call this fan quiet, but the low setting is reasonably quiet.I also like the fan's adjustable "directional" grill.It allows me to position the air where I want it.It's not what I'd call "chic" or leading-edge in terms of style, but it's not ugly either.It has a pleasing ... functional look.For the price, it's a great deal.It's worth 5 stars from a value perspective.I did have one quality problem.I bought two of these, and on one of the units, one of the fans ran at a noticably slower speed than the other (and consequently moved less air).Amazon did me right with the return, but I dropped one star for the quality problem.In the future, I'd certainly buy another.

Great window fan!
I recently bought another one to replace the same model (over 10 years). It's quiet, and you can use either exhaust or fresh air (or one of each) with two separate controls. It's convenient, put it into the window in the morning and take it down at night. You can control when it comes on (of course you'd need to put ON) - when the temps go higher, it's turned on automatically; when the temps go down, it shuts off. You can adjust the fan vents to go in any direction. A great buy, and Amazon sells it for a little cheaper than most places.

I originally owned the Holmes version of the window fan.This one dominates the other version.The temperature/comfort setting actually works.It actually turns itself on when the temperature drops.It's not *that* sensitive but at least it's not just another on/off switch like other models.

Great value space heater model
In the middle of February the temperature dropped down to the upper thirties (degrees F) at night here in SoCal. To make things worse the main central heating source in my house which is a natural gas wall heater that has seen better days. After a week of less than dependable operation... one night during its heat cycling phase it took longer than normal for the pilot to light up and a larger than normal ignition blew out the pilot flame. While I waited the next week for the wall furnace to be serviced I had to rely on a large quartz technology space heater as my only source of heat. After a night of low fifty degree temperatures in my room I thought it was a good idea to purchase an additional heater.Most places were sold out of their space heaters so I went to the "big W" mart to see what they had.While searching for another quartz heater I discovered that this DeLonghi SafeHeat model EW0507 was the only electric space heater that they had in stock. Since it was getting late at night, it was raining, it was going to be another very cold night and the price of this heater was actually very good I made the purchase.
Surprisingly effecient
We (like lots of others) were socked with a nearly 100% increase in our natural gas bill last month. We decided to get a space heater to decrease the number of times the main furnace needs to 'kick-in'.In our modest 1600 sf home, we place this heater in the center of the house and leave the interior doors open most of the time. To our surprise, the house maintained its temperature without use of the furnace except for a few times when it got really cold. We did not even have the thermostat turned very far up, only about half-way.
GOOD PRODUCT WITH DEFINITE LIMITATIONS
I bought this product last December with the hopes of being able to warm my shed up just enough to be able to work on my Harley, without all my tools being so freezing cold they couldn't be handled! Did it work? Yes and no. Provided the ambient temperature was at about 40F degrees and above, then the heater was just adequate enough to allow me to work. Anything below that though, no soap! Even with the addition of my usual starting up and running the bike for a while (to add heat to shed work area) proved to be inadequate for our typical South Dakota 'Ice Age' periods!

There isn't too much to be said about a fan.This fan is extreamly powerful for its size.If you are looking for a very gentle breeze right in front of it (2-3 feet) it will not adjust that low.But if you are looking for a very small fan that can move air around a reasonably sized room... this is a great choice.

Fan Stinks
I bought 2 of these fans 2 years ago. In the last week they both failed. The warranlty is use less. It costs you $12.00 to ship back and they want $ 15.oo to return it. Costs more then a new fan. What a dissapointment. Vornado sure went downhill. R.Schaeffer

SUPER SAFE QUALITY
This mica panel heater is a tremendous upgrade from my previously owned ceramic heaters. First of all, I am using it with the wheels and not as a wall mount. There are two heating levels 750 watts and 1500 watts. You choose the level. In addition there is an excellent thermostat. A real plus is that the unit can be turned off without undoing your thermostat setting. Heat is practically instant - not like oil filled radiators. The heat produced is enjoyably "ambient" without the feeling of a hot blast with cold spots around it. Best of all, it is silent. Because of the design, no fan is is needed. Air circulates freely off of the large mica surface. Of the many electric heaters I've owned, I think this is the safest I've found. I'm not afraid that it's going to burn down my house. Excellent fan at a good cost.
I've had this fan for over a week now and it's been great. Not only is it more powerful than other fans -- it is extremely strong when in its highest setting. In addition, it's quiet, easy to position and keep in position. I can't comment on the motor life as of yet, but judging by the initial performance, I think this fan should last for quite some time. A great fan at a reasonable price!

Circulates air well but sometimes makes noises
The product works fine and at first it was pretty quiet but then when we put it on at night while we're sleeping you notice it makes some clicking sounds every once in a while.Other than that it has 3 different speeds, can be used as an ionizer (but I can't tell the difference), oscillates and has a timer control.Over all I'd say it's a great product for the amount of money I paid.It's also pretty tall which is nice and has a remote control.

Great Fan
I liked the looks of this fan, read the other reviews and decided to try it. The fan is not noisy at all which is what I wanted because I watch TV in the room it is in. But I also wanted it to cool the room quickly. The ionizer is plus because it also takes care of the smells from the kitchen that carry into this room. The remote is a plus! Easy to assemble, easy to use, has a remote, is quite, and helps with odors.

Good Fan
I have never purchased a tower fan before so I have nothing to compare to, but I would say this is a good fan, not great, but good. It does move a ton of air. Maybe even too much, I don't put it on a higher speed than 1 because the 2nd and 3rd speed is very strong and blows papers and other things all around the room. The ionizer I use very little. It gives me a headache, and I have heard nothing but negaitive things about ionizers so I don't use it, but that is not why I purchased this fan anyway. The main reason I chose this fan over other tower fans was for looks. I love the wood on the front, and it looks very pleasing to the eye, unlike most fans. I think one of the worst parts of this fan, unlike previous reviews, is the noise. The fan itself makes little noise but the air it pushes around makes a lot of noise, even at low speeds. It is not something terrible, and can sometimes be relaxing, almost like the sound of a constant breeze or wind, but can sometimes get distracting/annoying Overall I would recommend this fan to anyone who wants to buy a fan with ionizer and great looks. I have been sleeping with a box fan in my bedroom year round for many, many years and have owned several different models but this one tops them all. I can turn up my thermostat in the summer and still stay cool and comfy, in the winter it helpscirculate the warm air in the house. I have a teenage son at home and when he has friends who sleep over they can be a bit noisy sometimes. However, with my Lasko fan turned on the number 2 setting I don't hear them and my son's bedroom is right across the hall from mine. This being said, if you are looking for a quiet fan then I suggest you buy another brand. However, if you want to lower your electric bill and block out noise then this is the one to buy. You can't go wrong with this Lesko!! I reccomend it highly!

Alot of air movement, fits nicely in the window or on a desk
My concern while purchasing this fan was air flow.Needed a substitute air conditioner for the summertime.Needed something that could create alot of air movement to suck in the cool air at night, and something that could be aimed at me could cool me off during the day, and this fan achieves that for it's lower price.Box fans are great, place then in a window and they'll cool a room down in no time.It is not a quiet fan like the ultra quiets on the market today but it is not as loud as those turbo jet fans.It has a normal good size fan noise that I don't find irritating.Other than that, you really don't need the foot attachments.I placed on the desk, turned on high and it did not fall over.So, to conclude it is a good solid fan for a reasonable price when your main concern is air flow. ... Then there are reflective heaters, which use electricity to warm a metal screen that then reflects heat out into the room. I love the heater.I have 106 yr old house with high ceilings.I use this heater in the coldest room in my home and it heats up that room better than any other heater I have (and I several different types of heaters).You do need to be careful with the turn on/turn off switch because it will strip but other than that our family think it is great.

Does what is should
I've found this heater to be pretty good.It mounts on the wall relatively easily (good for a house with pets and babies) and has been pretty reliable.Its controls are, indeed, quite unsophisticated (no temperature gauge and a simple timer), but that probably keeps the cost down; better yet, this heater works and is pretty quiet.Seems like someone on this list has had some bad experiences, but so far, so good with me.I'lm going to buy another for my basement.
