Perfect mug
My coffee goes with me and not in a metal or plastic cup. Hard to spill or knock over. I was very surprised when I found this wide base cup and ordered two right away. Shipping was a little high and no discount for more than one. It is exactly what I wanted and well packed and not broken. Now comes the test of endurance.

I love the vacuum thermos!
I ordered this whole set specifically for the vacuum thermos.My roommate had a set and I had been using hers, and upon moving out, ordered my own.It keeps my coffee pipping hot for hours :) The soup looking container is not that good at keeping anything warm (my order came with a soup looking container and not the two coffee mugs, which was odd, but I didn't care as all I wanted was the vacuum thermos). I usually just drink right out of the vacuum thermos so I haven't even used the coffee cup.However,the thermos is well worth the price if you like to wait a while to drink your coffee in the morning :)

Looks nice but leaks
The Metropolis line of products has nice styling (we bought the toaster, blender, and kettle).The kettle, however, leaks from somewhere around the bottom.We will now need to figure out how to get it replaced

A beautiful lemon
One extra star for the looks - but it is not only the looks we are after, aren't we? It worked well for about a year and a few days. In other words, it stopped working at about the time its warranty expired.In the meantime, it also managed to destroy my cabinet since it forget to shut off properly.No more DeLonghi in my house, I am sorry.

Metropolis kettle: works great, looks great!
We've had this kettle about a month or more and are very, very pleased with it's performance.We are a family of tea and coffee drinkers who are saving on our energy bill by using this electric kettle verses the old stove-top model.The Delonghi is trouble free, looks great on the kitchen counter and heats enough water for our teapots or large french press.We use filtered water, so there is no issue with cleaning or maintenance.The safety features are very handy (I've melted a few old style kettles to the stovetop!?!) and it heats the water quickly.I highly recommend this particular item, and I will order DeLonghi products in the future. ... Disappointed
We were impressed with how it looked. We wanted something a little fancier for the office but we had a hard time, almost impossible, keeping the "On lever" pushed down in order for the water to even boil. Perfect answer for those who hate the taste of plastic travel mugs
I love to drink a second cup of tea on my way to work, but have never found a plastic or metal travel mug that didn't alter the taste.This ceramic mug fits perfectly in my car's cup holder and the lid keeps hot drinks from spilling, yet doesn't touch my lips.It truly feels like I am drinking from my favorite ceramic mug at home.The non-skid bottom also helps keep my drink safe when I finish it up at my desk.This is the travel mug I've dreamed about - really! It's just perfect!

When I got the mug, the lid for it, was inside the mug. I pulled it out, and sad to say the lid did not fit very tight.They(the seller) let me put water in it, to see if it would leak when taking a drink.It did not, but the lid, was to the point of falling out, when you try and take a drink.Maybe it is not true of all the mugs they offer, but I felt that I had to return it.They(the seller) was very cooperative in letting me do this.Therfore I rate the seller very good, in customer service. ... Pretty Much Perfect
I own two of these, for a Melitta Clarity and Presto Scandinavian Design coffee makers.The difference in taste between these and paper filters is unimaginable.It's not the same as French pressed coffee: not as thick mouthfeel, brighter.The SwissGold filter is fine enough that there is very little sediment, a problem cheaper (Krups) knock-offs suffer badly from.
