The perfect all in one
This deep fryer does everything i need it to - it fries, it stews, it cooks rice - I just love being able to take out one appliance for dinner instead of three.

I own two of these!!!
I actually bought one off Amazon and ended up finding one at Wal-Mart for a few dollars cheaper. I decided to keep both of them because they are so versatile.

not compatible with FMF5-14
this was shown to be compatible with the krups FMF5-14, which it is not so i had to return it.

permanent filter
I have a combination Krups unit in white for both the coffee and expresso that is so old that I don't think they make that color any more. Bought this filter the day I got the machine use it almost every day. I use Folgers gourmet dark in this unit and with that size of grinds have no problem with residue in the pot. It is as good as gold. The brightness of the gold faded long ago but performance remains the same. My white pot lid however is bowning with age. The filter is older than my grand children and still works well. Hand wash don't scrub.

Tough clean up
The thing I hate about this is cleaning out the grounds..the easy way is rinsing it out in the sink, however it's no good to have all these going through your garbage disposal. Otherwise it was a great idea. ... Read more

Great buy
This hot pot is great in the dorm. It boils fast, cleans easy, and is small enough to not be a problem. I haven't had any problems with a "placticy" taste, and really no problems overall.

Missing a basic function
While researching inexpensive electric kettles for the occasional in-office cup of tea, I checked for capacity, ease of cleaning, etc., but I never thought to check if it would actually TURN OFF. After ordering this 45802 Hot Pot I failed to note that the temperature dial goes from Warm to Boil but has no actual Off position. After boiling my first cup of water on Friday (which did work nicely) I left, only to come back on Monday to discover that the pot was warm! Luckily there was still some water in it and no damage done. In addition, I have also found that the way that the lid seals near the handle is prone to leave a small gap through which boiling steam will escape as you tip it forward, thus exposing your hand to an unpleasant surprise. Rapid Water Boiling
I recently purchased the Toastess Kettle and have been extremely pleased.I use it to make tea in my office and it heats water faster than anything other than a microwave (without the danger microwave boiling can present).I highly recommend this kettle.

I absolutely love my toastess kettle. The water boils fast, there's an automatic shut-off, and being cordless, I can heat up water and then set it on the table for dinner. We use ours to help boil water faster for pasta, for soups, for tea, and for hot cocoa. Best coffee press
I love my Columbia coffee press because:
I should have read the user reviews -- beware of small size!
This is a lovely press, very well made and beautifully designed. I read the description ("3-Cup") and assumed that this meant the press could make 3 cups of coffee (at 8 ounces each). That is not the case! This charming little press holds just a cup and a half of liquid, or 12 ounces. That's enough for one mug of coffee. So you might want to consider the larger 8-Cup model, which I am guessing by extrapolation that you may get 3 actual cups from.

I haven't had the performance issues that others have mentioned, but there are some design flaws that would make me not recommend or rebuy this.

Handle broke

My old carafe had broken, and I was looking for a replacement.This was the only one available and in stock.Although I thought it was a little expensive, I love my Krups coffee maker and really needed a new carafe, so I went ahead and ordered it.It certainly was worth the price.The coffee stays hot for hours!!This carafe is better than the one that came with the coffee maker and was worth every penny I paid for it.

Simple to use cross platform network card
The internal network interface of my laptop was damaged. Versus fixing it, I ordered this card.Getting it to work under XP SP2 was effortless.You plug in the card and boot up.XP detected the card and fired it up.Once configured, it asked me to reboot.After the boot, the card fired up and showed up like any other NIC.I was able to re-name it to NETGEAR...
Not Compatible with Windows 2000/XP, HORRIBLE Tech Support - AVOID!!
I had this adapter running in my the Cardbus slot of my Windows 98 computer and it ran fine. I installed it on my Windows 2000 laptop. Well, my first sign of trouble was a warning popup when I installed the drivers that the drivers were not certified by Microsoft. So, imagine my shock when my brand new computer constantly got Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) crashes. Big blue screen, loss of data, computer freezes tight, power button inoperative, and when you have to use a pin to press that tiny little laptop reset button on a brand new computer, well, we all know that's when you're in Computer Hell.

I just ordered more of these.Simple efficient design does what its supposed to do.I like the "360 degree" lid.I put them in the dishwasher all of the time with no trouble.I have an automatic coffee/espresso machine and these are the only cups that fit under the dispenser.

Fantastic mug
This is one of the best coffee mugs I have ever used and I had previously bought a lot and have been disappointed.Being vacuum insulated, the product keeps coffee hot for a long time!Also, the top has a neat 360 degree sip feature that also minimizes spill potential.The only knock is that the stainless steel outer body is prone to denting which makes it look bad.The mug is also small at 12 oz but is perfect for use with my "3 cup" french press.

It's hard to find that "perfect" travel mug. Most mugs are either too bulky, too top-heavy, or just look too ugly to have on your desk. But these are very simply-designed and look quite sleek. I've received many compliments from my co-workers about these mugs. It feels like you're holding a pop can in your hand, so it's very easy to handle. Also, I agree with the previous reviewer that these keep things hot a LONG time--the last time I checked, my coffee stayed hot for over 5 hours. It's easy to clean and I've even tossed them in my dishwasher without any problems. The only draw-back I can think of is that it doesn't have a self-closing drink spout or tiny lid which you can close, so if you knock it over, it will spill--but not much. Works like a charm!
I had a hard time figuring out how to open up the battery compartment (it holds 2 AA batteries), but other than that, I am quite pleased.It foamed up the milk pretty fast, and while I have yet to try it with coffee (this was just a trial run), I am sure it is perfect!

Lightweight But Great
I laughed out loud when I took this out of the box, it almost floats away.But put two AA batteries in it and it gains just enough heft to work surprisingly well. After a little practise you can work up a great head of foam on hot milk. It even does a decent job of beating eggs if the batteries are at full strength.If you have more to spend you might want something more solid and durable, but if you are on a budget this works great.

IT REALLY WORKS
This little gadget is GREAT; lightwight and so easy to clean, you basically just rinse it off. Goodbye to cleaning the milk frother on my steam-operated espresso machine.
