nice decor as well as performance
love the way it looks... it boils water quickly, does not spil - worth every penny - definatelly recomend.

Neat but not silver
Great kitchen item (see other reviews). Pretty design BUT... I gave 4 stars not 5 due to the hassle of having to exchange the 1st unit I got in "matte silver" -- which in person is really gray plastic (not at all the stainless steel look I expected). I sent it back and got the chrome, much classier.

Works great for making a thermos of green tea
We have had this thing for most of a year now, and have used it every day to make a big pot of green tea.Here are some tips on doing that.
only lasted nine months
After nine months the flip-style plastic lid no longer sealed properly, leading to the risk of overboiling.I didn't bother to send it in for repair because the design is clearly flawed and it would have simply needed repair another nine months later.
Great - for a few months
I really liked ours, however, the heating element contacts do not seem to be heat resistant.This can be a problem when you want to use the kettle for heating water.

Slick little knock-box for home use
The size of this knock-box is perfect for counter top use and the convex tamper that comes with it is very solid. The rubber base is a nice touch and the hole for the tamper serves as a good rest for the portafilter when tamping.

Love These Cups
I broke all my really large,ceramic latte' cups and needed new large cups.I love these so much, I'll be buying clear cups from now on.They're perfect for my weekend latte's, and I can't help but drink my weekday coffee from them, as they're so pretty.I haven't had any trouble with chipping.

Perfect for tea!
I have had a couple of these mugs for several years and love them.I usually hand wash them so maybe that is why I have not had problems with chipping.When I do set them in the dishwasher, I make sure no other items are against the mug's protruding lip.For tea if you use bags, you want to see how strong it is so clear glass is best.I like to wrap my hands around these on a cold evening.These are very attractive and the substantial heavy glass bottom makes them quite stable.Highly recommend them.

Look no further if you are looking for a large mug for tea or coffee in the winter, or if you're just tired of running to the fridge to refill your drink. These mugs are stylish, sturdy and holds a lot of liquid. It's hard to go back to ceramic mugs after this, as these clear glass mugs lets you see what you're drinking and are so lovely! I had a hard time finding 16 oz. mugs anywhere for less than $3 or $4 each and these are not only cheaper but better looking too. Better than original
Over the years, I've had to replace the glass carafe that came with my Krups espresso maker several times. I was thrilled when I found this generic carafe because it's made of heavier glass and costs about half as much. Now if someone would only come out with a replacement lid! (Krups lids are just as flimsy as their carafes -- the tabs that are supposed to hold the lid to the carafe snap off with the slightest touch.)
