5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic
This garlic press is the best! You can press several cloves at a time without peeling.Cleaning is a breeze.I am as excited as a person can be about a garlic press!

4-0 out of 5 stars Good garlic press, but...
This is a sturdy garlic press with a chamber large enough for 2 or 3 cloves at a time. The only issue with this press is that the piston is a bit smaller than the chamber, which allows some of the pressed garlic to leak back past the piston.
5-0 out of 5 stars best garlic press ever
I bought this press when i lived in Ireland and have used it incessantly for 3 years - sooo easy to clean and pressses the garlic perfectly. Good grip to it, easy to squeeze, fits the hand well. had to write about it - can't say enough about how great it is. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Great for the kitchen, workout room, or home shop, this small digital clock/timer is useful in counting down cooking time, timing circuit training exercises, or tracking paint or wood glue drying time. No bigger than the palm of a hand, the timer is magnetized to stick to a refrigerator or stovetop or, alternatively, hangs via a clip or mounts onto a table with its wire stand. The large 0.7-inch LCD screen is easy to read and displays the current time in hours and minutes. When set for timing, the instrument displays in minutes and seconds and times up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds, which is ideal for monitoring cook times on dishes that require slow cooking, such as braised meats. The timer counts either up or down and emits a beeping noise when time has elapsed, which is easily turned off by pressing the Start/Stop button. The timer runs on a single AAA battery (included), and Taylor ensures complete accuracy in its readings through a one-year limited warranty. Read more

Features

  • Operates as a timer; water resistant
  • Counts up or down between 99 minutes and 59 seconds
  • Large 0.7-inch LCD readout
  • Clip/magnet/stand positioning
  • AAA battery included; 1-year limited warranty

5-0 out of 5 stars For the price, nothing beats it
Ok, I've owned this timer for about 2 years now. My daughter dropped it, actually, let me rephrase that, THREW it on the floor numerous times from her highchair.
1-0 out of 5 stars bad quality
It's bad quality because the the protective tape on the display cannot be removed and the battery cover at the back cannot be pushed in its proper place. It is also not easy to use. Resetting the timer is too much trouble, you have to go over all the way until you reach 99 minutes and start from 0 to set new minutes.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good enough
It does its job, it was designed for. The only bad thing is , on the front of the package it said it had a clock feature, I can't figure out how to use this feature. ... Read more

Providing myriad options, this automatic bread maker embodiesthe marvels of 21st century electronic convenience and choice. Yes, itmixes, kneads, rises, and bakes bread in three loaf sizes up to 2-1/2pounds. But its digital controls go much further, offering settings forwhite, whole wheat, multigrain, and French (crisp crust, open texture)breads, each made according to what's best for that particular style.Other settings permit rapid baking and baking sandwich bread with asoft crust. For raisin (or other dried-fruit) bread, a beeper signalswhen to add the fruit so it's not crushed during kneading. Crustcolor--dark or light--can be selected as well.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Japanese Products are Great !
This is my second bread maker. I bought Cuisinart's one last year and had used it for about a year. I had no idea how different each bread maker was at that point.
5-0 out of 5 stars easy as pie
I have made now a dozen loafs of bread with this machine.Every one comes out the same: delicious and perfectly brown. The recipes are good, I use the simple white bread recipe as my standard one.Works well.

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST BREADMAKER BY FAR!
This is the third breadmaker I have owned. I have to say I did not have very good luck with the other brands I have owned in the past but after reading the reviews on Amazon, decided on the Panasonic as a replacement. I could not be more pleased with my purchase!I have used it 3x a week for a month now.The bread has turned out perfect every time!I use 1/2 wheat flour with the white. It is like eating cake!It really is that good! One thing I love about this bread maker is that it is so quiet. Also, from other reviews, I thought I was going to have to get a scale and measure all the ingredients but I just use my regular measuring cups and spoons and every loaf has been perfect. I even used Smart Balance margarine today instead of butter and you could not tell the difference! The bread is soft and delicious! The bread comes out of the pan so easily and even the little paddle does not stick into the bread like my last breadmakers. The loaf looks so perfect - you'd think I spent hours making it on my own.I highly recommend this breadmaker over the more expensive ones. You will not be sorry! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars It blows.:)But it's great!
It's a good fan, and does exactly what I expected it to.It moves a pretty good amount of air at a moderate amount of noise. On the "Super" setting, there's no way I would call this fan quiet, but the low setting is reasonably quiet.I also like the fan's adjustable "directional" grill. It allows me to position the air where I want it.It's not what I'd call "chic" or leading-edge in terms of style, but it's not ugly either. It has a pleasing ... functional look. For the price, it's a great deal. It's worth 5 stars from a value perspective.I did have one quality problem.I bought two of these, and on one of the units, one of the fans ran at a noticably slower speed than the other (and consequently moved less air).Amazon did me right with the return, but I dropped one star for the quality problem. In the future, I'd certainly buy another.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great window fan!
I recently bought another one to replace the same model (over 10 years). It's quiet, and you can use either exhaust or fresh air (or one of each) with two separate controls. It's convenient, put it into the window in the morning and take it down at night. You can control when it comes on (of course you'd need to put ON) - when the temps go higher, it's turned on automatically; when the temps go down, it shuts off. You can adjust the fan vents to go in any direction. A great buy, and Amazon sells it for a little cheaper than most places.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great fan
I originally owned the Holmes version of the window fan. This one dominates the other version. The temperature/comfort setting actually works. It actually turns itself on when the temperature drops. It's not *that* sensitive but at least it's not just another on/off switch like other models.

KitchenAid's stand mixer is a substantial piece of equipment: 250 watts of mixing power make child's play of creaming butter, kneading dough, and whipping cream. The kid in you will appreciate how quick and easy it is to mix up a batch of cookie dough; the 4-1/2-quart bowl can hold up to 8 cups of flour, which translates into as many as 192 sweet treats. 3-0 out of 5 stars Good mixer for light use
The mixer is good for doing an occasional bread recipe, and for other light tasks like whipping cream, mixing mashed potatoes, etc, but if you use it to make heavy or dry breads on a regular basis it isn't suitable. When I first received the machine I loved it.I liked the high quality metal construction, the provided attachments, and the reputation of the KitchenAid name.
4-0 out of 5 stars Love it!!!!
I love my kitchenaid, I have made, bread, cakes, cookies you name it.I can't stop using it since I got it, so why the 4 stars instead of 5 you might ask, well the reason why I am giving it only 4 stars is because everytime I make bread the bowl gets stuck in the base of the machine and it is super tough to get it out for cleaning, since it does not have a handle you can't get a good grip.I'll end up buying a bowl with a handle for bread making purposes but I wish all of the bowls had handles on them.Other than that the machine is wonderful, strong and I am sure it will last a very long time.
5-0 out of 5 stars I LOVE my kitchenaid
I LOVE my kitchenaid. It has made everything easier from shredded cheese to cutting veggies and grinding meat.It also makes the lightest and most fluffy chocolate chip cookies anyone could hope for.Powerful but not real loud, I was raised with this machine and then I bought my own.My Grandmother used it to make her bread and now I do too. There isn't much it can't do.Make sure to get the accessories, because you will use them.Durable in a variety of sizes and colors, this is a must have for any kitchen. I have had mine for several years without a problem and my Grandma has had hers for a long long time (almost since she was married) and the same, no problems. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow!
I have a Circulon anodized aluminum non-stick dutch oven which I also like for it's own uses, but when it comes to slow simmering, to make meat fall off the bones, there is nothing that compares to cast iron.I cooked ribs in both dutch ovens once because I had too many to fit into one pot. They were both subject to the same conditions and cooking time. The ribs from Mario, were fabulous and fork tender. The Circulon ones were still chewy and tough. Mario won, hands down.
5-0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT!
I just received this yesterday, and used it last night to make dinner. It's heavy, cooks evenly, and it's really nice to look at....dinner came out great. The only surprise was that in the photos on the site, it looks oval, but it is actually round (I'm sure it says this in the description, and I just missed it).I really wanted a certain very expensive brand of french oven, but this does the trick and is a lot easier on my budget.I would recommend this to anyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars A beautiful piece of cookware

Use these lightweight plastic tubes to stuff your home-ground meats into natural casings for hand-made sausages. The small tube shoots out breakfast-sausage-size links; the larger one is great for boudin blanc, Italian sausage, and more. 5-0 out of 5 stars Another excellent attachment for your Kitchenaid
If you have never considered making your own sausage, reconsider it.This sausage stuffer pays for itself after the first couple uses (provided you already have the food grinder attachment).Anyone who has ever been to Europe knows that Americans have been getting fed tasteless sausage forever. It doesn't have to be that way.You download hundreds of high quality sausage recipes and buy casings from the internet and make your own.
1-0 out of 5 stars Hole to small - Metal not plastic.
Can't use this stuffer. First, there was a sharp lip on the stuffer and I could not get the casings over it. When I finally did I had a hard time slidding the casing up because the plastic surface was to rough. The hole size was also to small. In my opinion the part should be made out of metal, which is smother. I ended up using my old hand crank unit.

4-0 out of 5 stars Works great, but ask KithcenAid for the Wood Stomper
Love the food grinder, hate the new 1-piece stomper tool. You have to call the manufacturer to get a free wood stomper mailed to you which works better. They have gotten a lot of complaints. The plastic stomper is hard to use with the big end, plus, it sucks liquid back out of the grinder, causing the food to be dry. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Good Fortune with my Breadman 2500
After reading other reviews, I took my life in my hands and ordered the Breadman 2500.Fortunately, I have had no trouble with the machine at any of the stages.Having baked bread by hand regularly for over 40 years, I was surprised to find the Breadman texture quite acceptable. Here are a couple of tips I got from the company while trying to do the basic set up:1. When you turn on the machine to "burn off manufacturing oils", take the bread pan out and leave the top of the machine open. This was not mentioned in the booklet.2.When you set the cycle you want for a loaf, don't expect to see words like "white bread" -you get only the amount of time it takes to run the full cycle.Keep pressing "Select" until the arrow on the right stops where you want it.Then do the same with "Crust Control" and "Loaf Size".Then you're ready to push "Start".3.After you have completed the entire baking, push the Reset button and hold down for 4 seconds.Do this as well if the electricity goes off but you are not baking, or if you unplug the machine. This precautionary measure will keep you from finding yourself in an emergency cycle.
1-0 out of 5 stars Pan snaps out of the spring brackets when kneading
Machine reviewed is TR2500BC. Some of the other reviews are for different models, so watch out when reading.

5-0 out of 5 stars A most colonial experience indeed!
Let me say that this Oneida flatware was an integral factor in one of the best dinner parties I have ever been a part of.I like having dinner parties, but even more than that I like have THEMED dinner parties. How was this party?Well, let's just say that if Paul Revere had been at this party on the night of his fateful ride, I'm going to bet we would still be an English commonwealth today! No one was able to leave this party, I kid you not.The period flatware aside, everyone wore tri-corner hats- even the ladies- and there were enough knickers there to feed an elephant. After dessert we had a blast throwing bags of Tetley Tea into my bathtub.Priceless! We had a mock witch trial that was so funny....you should have seen Barbara hemming and hawing, trying to convince us that she was NOT a witch.(That must have been so hard back then!)The best part of the night was when some guys broke into the house dressed as British soldiers, and declared that under the law of the king we had to "give them food, shelter, and a night with our women."Well you should have seen Barbara hemming and hawing over this one!She is a hoot!

1-0 out of 5 stars Liked the product...HATED the reliability!!!!!
I'm currently in the market for a toaster oven to replace this one.We went through three in less than 2 years. The first one broke within a couple of weeks and we took in back to the store. The second one broke within six months and we sent it back to the manufacturer (think it cost us $10 to fix). Now the third one broke and we are looking for another manufacturer.

5-0 out of 5 stars What did I do without a toaster oven?
Since I got this wonderful toaster oven a year ago, my big gas oven has gotten very lonely. This little gem cooks and bakes well, makes great toast, reheats great, all without heating up the kitchen. Getting a toaster oven-sized Silpat baking sheet made it even better. Get this! You'll be asking yourself like I have "What did I do without a toaster oven?"

4-0 out of 5 stars Great oven just ok toaster
Great basic oven for heating and cooking. The convection feature really is a nice addition especially if you have a large regular oven and do not want to turn it on for smaller bakes. The toaster function requires almost always using the highest setting when doing any whole grain products-often you have to add additional time not nearly as good as a basic toaster oven. ... Reviews (5)

5-0 out of 5 stars CHEAP SOLUTION BUT COST VARIES WILDLY
I purchased a pack of these memorex sleeves or a memorex version very similar to these at Circuit City without first looking at the price. I was astounished to be charged 7.99 plus tax. I purchased the same sleeves at Walmart later the same day for 2.99. Ciruit City has great prices on many things (particularly electronics) but these miscellaneous items can be waaaay overpriced. (Same is true of many items at Office Max). I am not aware of dvd or cd sleeves that are cheaper than these memorex sleeves (when purchased from Walmart or a simlar discounter at least) and they get the job done. These sleeves are fairly light paper but not nearly as light as the open-ended sleeve in which a netflix or blockbuster dvd is stored in. These sleeves do have a flap so the entire cd or dvd is protected.

5-0 out of 5 stars These Are Very Handy - Very Practical!
These are simply envelopes for your cds and dvds. Can't say anything else about them - except this - I noticed when I opened the box they came in 'my' sleeves were wrapped tightly with a rubber band which caused them to be somewhat crumpled upon removing the rubber band. It did not really affect them adversely, but just be aware that yours may come this way also.

5-0 out of 5 stars CD Sleeves that work well
Well, what can I say? They are CD Sleeves, they are all basically the same. These come in a 50 pack box and have a hole in the back to put a flap in to hold it down, this comes in handy if you are mailing the disks in these CD Sleeves. The Window Cut-Out is good because you can easily see what is on the disk, of course, all CD Sleeves have this.Read more

At 150 watts, the motor is powerful enough to chop or mince vegetables, fruits, herbs, cheese, nuts, chocolate, cooked meats, and bread. The power head has a soft grip for easy one-handed use. 5-0 out of 5 stars I'm buying more of these for presents.
This is the best chopper. I have a small food processor and a large food processor.I have purchased those handheld types that you pound up and down.I've went through several of those, because they are handy.Well this one is just as handy. It cleans up so easily.I don't have to twist parts to lock in place, just place the top over the non-skid bottom and BOOM! Your chopping. It doesn't mush your food either, it chops!

5-0 out of 5 stars Everyone I know is getting one of these for Christmas
I love this thing!
5-0 out of 5 stars Great little chopper!!!
I just received my food chopper on today and immediately washed it out in some Dawn w/bleach detergent.I followed the directions as to how to prepare my veggies before putting them into the chopper and didn't have any problems whatsoever.I chopped up some celery, scallions and one hard-boiled egg to add to canned tuna and canned turkey. Then, I spooned the chopped mixture into separate bowls with one tablespoon of Hellman's mayo, 2 teaspoons of sweet relish and a few sprinkles of black pepper.I put this over some lettuce and it was very tasty!!! I love this little product and I'm very happy that I purchased it when I did.It will definitely make my life in the kitchen alot easier and healthier!!!!! ... Read more

With its 7-cup work bowl, 600 watts of power, and slicing and shredding discs, this food processor is ideal for most households. It kneads 1-1/2 pounds of bread or pastry dough, chops 1 pound of meat, emulsifies a perfect mayonnaise or salad dressing, and chops, slices, or shreds vegetables, nuts, cheese, and bread crumbs. The plastic work bowl is shatterproof and resists both heat and cold. A single fingertip control turns the processor on and off and pulses for precise work. All parts go safely into the dishwasher. With work bowl in place, the processor measures 7 by 12-1/2 by 9-1/2 inches. It carries a five-year warranty against motor defects and a three-year warranty against other defects. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Now I'm a Believer
When my girlfriend recieved this for her birthday (she's a long time believer in the Cuisinart) I knew it would be an upgrade from my modest hand me down food processor, but I was blown away.First off it weighs a ton, which really means something with motors. The weight was put to good use, as it effortlessly mowed through food, and it did so with a delicacy that makes food so enjoyable (I ate enough pulverized crap as an infant, so I appreciate foods with texture, and the sharp blades make sure things stay the way they should).I never thought the difference between a regular food processor and a Cuisinart would be so dramatic, but it is.The 7 cup capacity is easily sufficient for a couple adults (I imagine you could throw in a few kids for good measure), and the included blades tend to most uses.It can allegedly do a good job mixing cakes and kneading dough, and based on its overall performance, I believe it, but I'd rather use my Kitchenaid mixer for that.

5-0 out of 5 stars ...replaced the mixer, blender, grater, and other food processor I owned...
I love this product.Since I got this product I would have to say I have used it more than I have ever used any small appliance. It is a mixer, grater, grinder, blender, and food processor in one.I absolutely love it.

1-0 out of 5 stars Incorrect readings and looks cheap
I opened the box and followed the instructions mentioned. Waited for 15 minutes but nothing happened. Had to set the time manually.
4-0 out of 5 stars Good product
I've had one of these for a couple of months now.I'm in AZ and it syncs with the atomic clock well. The projection works perfectly at night.I don't like ANY light in my room at night and it just puts out a faint red time and outside temp on the ceiling. It is not annoying at all.But it is also not bright enough to overcome any light. The projection is not readable in the day at all and the little light in the unit can't be set to stay on, so sometimes it's a little hard to read in the morning.
4-0 out of 5 stars not perfect but enought good
I have one of this and I can tell it is not bad but when the sun rise you do not see the time on the wall but anyway you can check on the screen :)..... What I miss the time and a temperature to show in the same time.:( ....... ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars One of my favorite gadgets
This is useful and fun, what more could you ask ? You can use one or two probes. The probes are connected to the transmitter, you then turn on the remote, then the transmitter. I use it for everything, steaks, chops, whatever. I go into the living room and watch the remote. When the temperature gets over about 100 I turn the meat over if necessary. The only thing I have noticed is the temperatures that trigger the audible alarm are set too high, likely thanks to lawyers. For example, when I set it to medium rare for beef, it was more like medium. Now I set it on rare ( 140 ) and get a perfect medium rare. For pork the number is 170. I take it off at 160. After all, it continues to cook after it is taken off. Before I bought this I used to guess but now I get perfect results every time. Highly recommended.

4-0 out of 5 stars THE best wireless transmitter for the money
This transmitter works flawlessly. The dual-probes let you track two meats - or if you are like me and like to cook things at low (200-250 degree) temperatures it is invaluable to free you from having to sit next to the grill the whole time.
1-0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money.
This would be a fantastic item - if only it would work! I followed the instructions exactly and repeatedly for set up.It works great for about 20 minutes, then it loses the remote signal from the probes even when the receiver is located 15 feet away from my smoker. The signal won't come back until I go through set up, re-entering every setting only to lose the signal again in about 20 minutes. I made certain that I haven't exceeded operating temperatures or violted any other parameters for use. This product is a dog! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Clean Crisp Air .........At an Incredible Price..
This little machine is incredible; it does a great job at cleaning the air.I bought it for my thirteen year old son who suffers from allergies and his room is always very dusty and lacked air circulation. At first, I was a bit skeptical because of the price, but after reading the reviews, I took a change and purchased.Well, I am so happy with the results that I had to purchase two more units. Thanks so much for bringing this at an affordable price that actually does a great job. I asked my son, "Hey have you notice any difference in the air lately? He said, yeah mom, Clean Crisp Air." Again, Thank You.

5-0 out of 5 stars Inexpensive version of bigger units
After I received the unit Iturned it on in the bedroom.Within a short time, the bedroom had a fresh air smell to it.Today, I put it in the kitchenand the kitchen and large TV room and dining room all smelled like fresh air.I ordered two more units today.I was amazed at the good job it does.

2-0 out of 5 stars Disappointed
I had only used my fryer a handful of times before I noticed a significant decrease in heat. It was nowhere near the temperature indicated on the dial and I would have to increase the heat frequently just to keep cooking at a lower than desired heat. By the end of the second or third batch I have the dial maxed and it's barely adequate to get the job done. The troubleshooting guide in the manual made no mention of this particular issue. I've gone back to frying in a pan and shopping around for another deep fryer.
4-0 out of 5 stars VERY VERY EASY TO CLEAN LIKE NEW
I ONLY HAVE THIS ITEM A SHORT TIME. SO I DON'T KNOW IF IT WILL DEVELOP A LEAK AS I SAW IN ANOTHER REVIEW. BUT,MY UNIT WORKS VERY NICELY SO FAR. THE WHOLE GREAT THING ABOUT THIS FRYER IS HOW EASY IT IS TO CLEAN WITHOUT TOUCHING THE OIL IN ANY WAY. THE WHOLE THING COMES APART IN TEN SECONDS, GOES INTO THE DISHWASHER AND COMES OUT LIKE NEW.IT AUTOMATICALLY FILTERS AND DRAINS THE OIL. YOU END UP WITH A TUPPERWARE TYPE CONTAINER WITH PRETTY CLEAN OIL TO USE AGAIN AND AGAIN. THE UNIT HOWEVER IS PRETTY SMALL. FOR EXAMPLE IT MAKES ABOUT TWO NICE PORTIONS OF FRENCH FRIES AT A TIME.

3-0 out of 5 stars Clean But Flimsy
I'm not as confident using this product as I was my Delonghi Safely Fryer.
