OLD MODEL-Difficult to Clean-NOT as PICTURED--SF Quesadilla Maker
Ordered based on Picture on Amazon web site, which shows Updated Model that has an Easy Clean 1-inch drip tray surrounding heating plates.What I received was the Design Defective "Old Original Model" with a 1/8th-inch drip tray access, which is impossible to clean even when using a tooth pick.The Original Model was DEFECTIVE by Design with its oversized heating plates and inadequate drip tray access for cleaning which can be a serious Health Hazard.Frequent problems with filling bubbling out of machine because 1/8th-inch drip tray ridge access was unable to accommodate excess filling that oozes out during heating/cooking process.Old Model with Blender often can be purchased elsewhere for under Twenty Combined; and by itself frequently on sale for Twelve or Less.There is a very good reason that the OLD MODEL is sold so CHEAP, IT IS DEFECTIVE BY DESIGN.I have now returned the old model that was shipped by Amazon.I will buy one from my local Bull's Eye Logo store which carries the Newer Model, as I have seen it there on my many shopping trips and can be assured that I am receiving the Easy Clean Newer Model.Insist on the Newer Model with the "Easy Clean 1-inch Drip Tray" when purchasing and you will not be disappointed.

This Teeny Tiny Pumpkin
is made in Thailand, not France as you would expect from a Le Creuset item. In the product description, it says, "Festive and fun. Welcome fall with the addition of these petite pumpkin casseroles to your set. Serve up individual servings of pumpkin soup or fill it with cinnamon for an added spice of life. Superior CAST IRON construction retains and distributes heat quickly and evenly. Limited lifetime warranty." This product is part of the Le Creuset stoneware line and IS NOT cast iron. The lid is not at all tight fitting, either. This casserole is very small. I know 12 oz isn't much, but I did think it would be big enough to hold at least enough food for an individual casserole serving. As a (very) proud owner of 16 pieces of Le Creuset, it saddens me to have to give this only 3 stars, but I had to deduct because of the poor fitting lid, it being made in Thailand, the incorrect product discription and the size. Percolated coffee is an acquired taste, but for those who like it strong and black, this stovetop coffee pot is the way to go. 420 is a terrible steel to use in a knife
You don't need to be a metallurist to know that steel in the 420 series is an extremely bad choice for most knives, unless it is a diver's knife or some other knife where resistance to corrosion is particularly important. All you need is some basic research (visit some metalsmithing sites, etc). I recently started work with Cutco Cutlery, and being a skeptic at heart, I did some extensive online homework independently before I was ready to accept Cutco's claim of making the world's finest.

These knives are amazing for the price. you can't beat it! they are sturdy, cut amazingly well, never need to be sharpened and i haven't had any problems with rust! I never put them in the dishwasher because i know that they would probably start to rust. its so easy just to hand wash them. Nothing will stick the to blade so its an easy rinse wipe and your done!! For anyone looking to buy great knives but don't want to spend a lot of dough, this is the buy for sure!

Good Knives Are Not Suppose To Go In a Dishwasher!
Obviously the people who gave a bad review on these knives all just lazily threw their knives into the dishwasher. GOOD QUALITY KNIVES SHOULDN'T BE THROWN IN A DISHWASHER. HAND WASH ONLY! I don't care if the label said it was dish washer safe. Don't always believe what you read. Dish washer safe is on alot of things, but sometimes the dish washer doesn't even do the best of jobs. ALL KNIVES ARE TO BE HAND WASHED! The dish washer will damage the blade. And you must have the common sense to think that anything sharp thrown into a dish washer is going to get thrown around and the tip banging against things will eventually become worn to the point where you can't even sharpen it the best anymore. I am a disabled vet with one good hand, this opener can not be easier to use.A simple squeeze of the handle, depress the lever, and your wine is un-corked.Do the same in reverse while holding the cork and you have the cork intacted for re-corking.We love it!

I bought this wine opener to replace a regular corkscrew and I'll never go back. Very pleased
I am very pleased with this Convection Oven.It cooks fast and thorough and I enjoy the warmer feature.Toasting also works very well.The only negative comment I have is the cleaning of the warmer part is a bit challenging, but this is a minimal inconvenience.Overall, I would definitley recommend this to anyone looking for a qualtiy Toaster Oven.

Very good buy for $85 +free ship. Bought this one to replace a smaller Black & Decker toaster oven that served us very well over 5-6 years until controls gave out (the B&D still works, just have to keep the button pressed in).

Worth every penny of it
Have three cats and been searching for a small, efficient vacuum, cordless that really worked. No longer do I have to drag out the big vacuum and have the hassle of the cord and not be able to get in the small areas due to the bulkiness. The Shark is lightweight, powerful enough to vacuum up the debris, gets into corners, can be used on bare floors and carpets. Cat hair is a bit more complicated, requiring a brushing motion, but it really gets it off the furniture and cat bedding.It is super easy to clean and wish I'd known about it sooner.

I owned an older Shark vacuum and had to put it to rest a few months ago. I was happy with its performance, but wanted a more powerful vacuum. Over the last few years I've acquired some dogs who like to ride in my car, but cleaning out the dog hair from cloth seats and floors was a real pain. I did a lot of research and decided on this hand-vac. I'm happy to report that after 4 months of hard vacuuming this product is living up to the good reviews here. I also use it around the office and home, but the car is where it gets its true workout. Would recommend to anyone looking for a strong powerful handvac.Just a warning - be sure that you dont accidentally throw the filter out when you are emptying it out!

Best I have ever owned
I have owned all types of crepe pans and this is the first one that has been perfect.A perfect crepe everytime. No need to to do anything but put the batter on and let it cook. Slides right off like butter!!!

This pan is the best!!
I ordered this pan after having crepes at a resturaunt. I researched and almost ordered the other one that you turn upside in the batter. But opted for this one at $10. So I ordered it. It arrived in a few days. I just tried it this morning. I have not recieved my crepe recipe book, so I searched on line for a basic crepe recipe. It was so easy! They didn't stick and they were bigger then the resturaunts! I filled them with strawberries sweetened with splenda, and bananas. Then fat free whipped cream and more straberries and banans. I drizzeled with a little chocolate syrup for looks. My 12 year old loved them!! But, we could only eat one each!! You won't regret this purchase!!!

Couple of problems
Whether it was because of shipping or a manufacturing defect, the pan came a bit scratched.Also the handle is almost parallel to the pan, which makes grabbing the handle difficult when the pan is on the stove.The handle should be angled higher, so you can get your fingers around it.Also, the inner surface is less than 10 inches in diameter, which seems to be common from reviews about other crepe pans.

Never received item
The item was accidentally sent to an old address, determined to be undeliverableable, and then returned to Amazon...this was a month ago, and I still haven't received a credit back, so I have not yet actually repurchased the items.

Pretty good product
The carbon filters do a pretty good job of filtering dust, etc. before it enters the unit's main filter.They are pretty gross when changing though. ;)The only real drawback is that little black fibers from the pre-filter get on the unit (and elsewhere) easily when you are replacing them.

Hamilton Beach 04161 Is the Best
I have asthma and the Hamilton Beach 04162 has both my votes. I did a lot of research and intially bought the Blue Air (which I returned the next day). The reviews indicated it was the quitest air purifier. It isn't and it cost 2 and 1/2 times the price of the Hamilton Beach. Although it supposedly has the lowest decibel level (which I do not believe), the BlueAir has an extremely irritating high whine that oscillates irregularly, not to mention an annoying bright blue light. This might be good for torturing someone, but the BlueAir is NOT quiet. The only reason I didn't buy the Hamilton Beach to begin with was because a reviewer said he could not sleep to it. ... The Hamilton Beach on low setting has a white noise effect and I actually prefer to have it on when I sleep. It's sound is soporific. The light from the Infrared can be turned off, but it is not annoying like the light from the BlueAir, so I leave it on. The infrared has elimated the mold problem we were having in our bathroom. It is very attractive, well designed, well built, doesn't way a ton, monitors the air, does not incorporated ozone (thank God), and has enabled me to sleep much better. Great Canister!!!!!
I had an old Hoover canister vac and was ready for a new one.I looked at all the Kenmores but none of them seemed right (I have a small Cleaning Business) so I ended up ordered the this Hoover Windtunnel and love it!!!I didn't want the powered floor cleaner because I don't use that but it does work great!I also love the handheld powered cleaner, works great on furniture getting the cat and dog hair off!I highly recommened this canister for anyone looking for a good one.Plus Hoovers are easy to take apart and I can fix just about anything on it!

It Just Works
Decent cast-iron is a joy to cook with.Season this pan well, and you will be amply satisfied.I have a couple of Lodge brand pans, and I like them a lot.One of the really nice things about this pan, is the extra handle.Cast-iron weighs a lot; filled with food, even more.The extra handle makes this pan easy to move, and work with.

At some point in the post WWII American consumerist age, we decided to replace all the good stuff that worked with newly invented junk that did not work in the name of progress. Think of margerine instead of butter..for some reason we took natural butter off of our tables and replaced it with artery clogging scientfically invented margerine. Americans such as my grandparents ate butter every day of their lives and lived into their 90's.

10X better than my Rowenta!
I replaced a leaky top of the line Rowenta with this iron.I was skeptical because of the cheap price, but i figured it was worth a try.It has out-performed my Rowenta tenfold!It never leaks, the steam is consistent and the spray feature is always reliable, unlike my Rowenta.It gets superhot and irons very well.I am so pleased with this iron.It was worth every penny and then some.

WARNING!!! Don't buy T-fal
I bought T-fal's top of the line Avantis iron even though I only have light ironing to do. It broke in less than a year - losing heat completely. T-fal would not stand behind it. I wrote to them several times. They insisted on the original sales receipt despite the fact I had the charge on my American Express bill. They had no technical advise either. Read other Amazon reviews on their products breakdowns! I've paid half as much for irons that lasted for years. Avoid this turkey and this company. I love this product!This is my second FoodSaver I've had in the last 4 years.The first one stopped working properly after 3 years so I purchased this one and I LOVE IT!I recommend this FoodSaver to all my friends and those who have bought it like it too.
Great Product
I had been wanting to purchase a food saver for over a year, so I finally decided to go with this model since it matched my kitchen. With the $25 discount from amazon and free shipping I got a really good deal. The only thing I have found wrong with this product is the guides that hold the suction line for storage will not stay on. A small drop of super glue solved this problem for both, therefore I rate this product as a five star.

Good Purchase
I am glad I did the research and am quite happy with the Griddler. Previously I purchased the newest George and returned it because of it's size. The Griddler is not that much bigger however it opens up to double the grilling space. The plates are easily removed, cleaned, and replaced.
Excellent griddler
I just used my griddler for the first time after ordering and receiving it quickly from Amazon (Thanks Amazon for the fast shipping).This was an excellent buy.I especially liked that you can detach the griddle irons and wash them in the sink.The grease ran right into the little cups and it cooked the boneless chicken quickly and with no mess.A quick tip is to spray on non stick cooking spray and this helps with the clean up.I liked the design, it heated up quickly.I look forward to using this appliance often.Having used the other grills, I think I made a good buy.Thanks everyone for the reviews, reading them convinced me to make this purchase!

These are great and beautiful to look at!
These kitchen tools are perfect for use with stainless steel cookware, however care must be taken not to scratch the cookware.These tools look absolutely beautiful and shiny, and are very sturdy to use.I love how the spatula is thinner than a plastic spatula making it much easier to remove fried eggs or scrambled eggs.

Outstanding Value
What a bargain, this is a great thermometer and the push button power switch is so easy to use; my other one had a tiny little switch that was so hard to work.

Not Accurate and Potentially Dangerous
From the start, it was apparent that the temperature displayed was 5 or 6 degrees higher than two other digital thermometers I had in the same room.So I followed the calibration instructions and was only able to get the display to read 34.1 degrees in a 32 degree solution... ok, so I can live with 2.1 degree inaccuracy.After calibrating, the room temperature was also only off by about 2 degrees.However, I decided to test it in boiling water and the display read 193 degrees (water boils at 212F).So, If you are counting on this thermometer to tell you anything important (such as if your meat is cooked suffiently or if your beer water is the right temperature for steeping), I would make sure it is accurate at the temperature of interest before using... or avoid it all together, which I wish I had done. ... Wine Tastes Better!
Swirl your cab in these glasses, and it smells fantastic. While other reviewers have rightly given accolades to the functionality and beauty of the design, most important is that these tumblers truly make for a better taste and bouquet. We were first introduced to "O" at a tasting at Miner Vineyard in Napa, and have been fans ever since.

Lovely and delicate even without the stem!
I love these. Like a reviewer below, my husband has broken our wine glasses. 5 stems off a set of 8! I gave up and ordered these :-)They are wonderful. delicate and pretty but as foolproof as a wineglass can get. They *are* thin but they are a joy to use and suit our more casual home perfectly.
