4-0 out of 5 stars best option
Regarding the Dekor system, we have been through both the diaper genie and diaper champ and have found that SIZE matters most. All the gimmicks build into the other two systems to reduce odor don't seem to be worth the hassle. The Dekor Plus's ease of use and refill makes it the most convenient.
2-0 out of 5 stars Not well made
I have had the Diaper Dekor system for over a year now.It was great for the first six months then the door came loose because the construction of the product is not very sturdy.I also found that it also allowed odors to escape easily. If I were to go back in time.I would not buy the system again. The only good points are that the system is easy to use and refill, otherwise the construction is cheaply put together.

4-0 out of 5 stars good system
I like the whole system.I do have the same complaint as another reviewer, that it doesn't warn you when the bag is about to run out.I've used it for six months and still like it.The refills last forever! ... Read more

Editorial Review

Get a nutritious start to your day with fresh tomato, carrot, apple, or orange juice--or invent your own healthy blend. This powerful (and some would say noisy) 600-watt juicer churns out a quart of juice in just one minute. An extra-wide feed tube saves chopping time since it accommodates whole tomatoes, carrots, and small apples, and the removable parts make this one of the fastest juicers to clean. To operate, simply turn the juicer on and insert washed whole or chopped fruits and vegetables through the feed tube--pulp and seeds will shoot out one side into the provided pulp container, and juice will pour out the spout. To catch the juice, you can use either a glass or a provided juice container with lid. The juice container features a handy divider to separate the juice from the froth when pouring. Weighing thirteen pounds, the juice extractor measures 15 by 6-1/2 by 16 inches and comes with a one-year warranty. A helpful instruction booklet that includes tips and recipes is included to get you started. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Can't go wrong!
I couldnt be happier with my Breville juicer. Never heard of Breville before. Almost bought a Jack Lalane juicer, until i saw the features of the Breville.Bigger wattage and faster rpm makes for faster juicing. There are times when i dont even have to use the plunger to push the fruit and veggies through. A little noisy, but no more than most small appliances i have had! Looks good sitting on top of the countertop.Very e-z clean-up. And $99 with free super saver shipping makes this a good value.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect Small Room Heater!
I bought this heater after seeing how highly rated it is- and you guys were right! This is the best little heater ever.I bought it to keep me warm in the bathroom (I have one of those awful new house designs where the master bathroom is completely open to the master bedroom.)It works great.Gets very hot or just warm thanks to the dial. The only down side is that there is no off switch- but it is just as easy to pull the cord out of the wall as it is to turn a switch off!Portable and can be taken from room to room in one hand.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Heater for Office or Bath Room!
I love this heater. I use it all the time at work and it keeps me warm and toasty. I love that it has a dial so that if you get too hot you can turn it down. It heats up super quick and turns itself on and off to keep the right temperature. Its nice and small and has a nice look to it too.I like it so much that I'm buying another one to keep my bathroom warm for when I take showers.Oh, and for the people that say there is no on/off switch, you just turn the dial all the way down to turn it off. The light stays on, but the heater will not come on if you have the dial all the way down. Trust me, I have it plugged in at work all the time.

4-0 out of 5 stars ultra portable, fast heat !!
We ordered it urgently since our living room was getting cooler.

No more worrying about overheating or starting a fire, a ceramic thermal cut-off mechanism shuts the heater down if it's accidentally tipped over or covered with curtains, blankets etc. A dual heat-flow setting makes it easy to regulate. Choose the "hi" setting for 1500 watts or the "lo" setting for 750 watts. And, an adjustable thermostat helps fine-tune temperatures and conserve energy. When winter is over, the fan operates without heat for summer cooling. A built-in handle and wide solid base ensures optimal stability and convenient portability. And, this quiet operator is perfect for any room in the house. An anti-freeze setting automatically turns on the heater when the temperature reaches 44 degrees Fahrenheit. 5-0 out of 5 stars Reliable low cost heater
Very reliable and low cost heater fan for use in a small area. Been using it for 2 years with no problems.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best $20 spent
Best 20$ I've ever spent. It does have some flaws as stated previously in other reviews, the knobs are hard to read but I've found that I use it so much that I really don't need to be able to see it anymore. The thermometer seems stable, I never have a problem with it getting too hot in the winter, and it manages to heat my efficiency apartment very well. The cord is 'regular' length so it's not tiny and I don't need an extension cord. Over all on a students budget I've definitely found a winner.

5-0 out of 5 stars Cold office, warm hands
I love this heater. It's extremely quiet. It has to be, since it sits on my desk facing the left side of my keyboard, keeping my hands nice and warm.

When I searched the net for pods there were lots of warnings that the senseo brand wasn't so good.Granted I am not an avid coffee drinker, however I really look forward to a good morning cup of coffee that won't burn a hole in my stomach.I usually run one senseo pod through twice and have a perfect cup.If anything - needs a little more of the flavor (i.e. hazlenut, vanilla) added to it.But still very good.

Editorial Review

Calphalon Commercial hard-anodized pans are made for the more serious cook who is looking for kitchenware built to last a lifetime. This large-size, 12-quart stockpot is good for soup, stews, and pasta, and its heavy-gauge aluminum construction also stands up to deep frying. The looped handles are easy to grip and stay cooler than you might expect, thanks to V-shaped splits where they meet the pan, but it's still a good idea to keep hot pads nearby. The nonporous and nonreactive hard-anodized surface resists sticking and doesn't affect the flavor or color of food. It's also tough enough to handle stainless-steel utensils and vigorous whisking. Unlike pans with plastic or wood handles, the extremely sturdy all-metal construction provides you the flexibility to take the pan to the oven or broiler. But do remember to hand wash your Calphalon pans--dishwasher detergents are bad for the finish and their use voids the lifetime warranty. --Read more

Features

  • Original Calphalon hard anodized aluminum for superior conductivity
  • Perfect surface for searing, browing, deglazing, carmelizing or any other classic technique, a truly versatile cooking surface
  • Extremely durable, metal utensil recommended
  • "Cool V" handles stay cooler with regular stovetop use.
  • Lifetime warranty

4-0 out of 5 stars Food won't burn with this stockpot
I once purchased a set of Caphalon Commerical Hard-Anodized pots and instantly fell in love with them. Since then, I've slowly converted all of my cookware to this line.
5-0 out of 5 stars The size is what matters here!
The only challenge I had with this pot was fitting it into my cupboard. I have had it a month now and used it to boil the meat off a good sized turky, as well as for several other soups. It seems to hold and disperse heat well. If you like to cook one time, freeze it and eat it all week this is the pot.

I love the flavor of rich, full-bodied coffee. So when my son left for college last month, I purchased a small 4-cup drip maker. But somehow the paper filter affected the taste of the coffee, so I bought a metal screen filter and that was better. But then a friend had one of these 4-cup percolators and the coffee was best I'd ever had!

Pinzon's 8-cup (32-ounce) French press makes coffee brewing easy. 5-0 out of 5 stars Great Flavor!
I haven't tried coffee in it yet, but did try Irish Breakfast Tea, it was really, really good!It brought out the flavor of the tea much better than brewing in a coffee maker, and much STRONGER.One reviewer wrote about that, and they were correct, it will have you buzzing around if you aren't used to it!The only drawback I have experienced is I don't have a dishwasher and it's a little time-consuming to get the grounds completely out of the filter.Other than that, I'm very pleased with the quality/taste this coffee press provides!Would highly recommend!

5-0 out of 5 stars Good (large) French Press
I have a 3-cup french press (which btw is only about 1 'American' cup), but I needed something bigger when I have to make more than my cup of coffee in the morning. Despite its bargain price, this coffee press is very good at what it's supposed to do. The filter fits tighter than my 3-cup press, so no coffee grinds pass through the gap (b/w its filter and the glass) even when you press down hard. I first thought it looked flimsy and cheap, but so far this has seen more use at my home than my old coffee press.

5-0 out of 5 stars Proud owner
After buying a single cup coffee press I was ready to step up and this was the perfect buy.I love the quality of the press. The mesh is fine enough on the press to hold the coffee grounds in place. The press slides down smoothly and there is a great seal on the lid to keep it from falling off when you pour the coffee into your cup.I thought I could not live without my coffee maker - now the only other coffee I drink is a Mocha from Starbucks. ... Editorial Review

Plug in the Orville Redenbacher Hot Air Corn Popper and the party begins. In less than 2-1/2 minutes you’ll have up to 18 cups--two large bowlfuls--of fluffy popcorn with virtually no unpopped kernels. And because the machine uses hot air instead of oil, the resulting snack is healthier and lower in calories. That’s not to say you can’t add butter; in fact, the 1/2-cup measuring cup on top of the popper doubles as a butter melter. Simply put in the desired amount of margarine or butter (room temperature is best), and it melts from the heat produced during the popping process. The clear plastic cover and cup, which must stay on during popping so the popped corn doesn’t fly all over the room, easily remove for hand cleaning with warm, soapy water. No other clean-up is required. While a few unpopped kernels spring out the chute as the machine begins to heats up, the chute does a good job of directing the popped corn into a bowl. The popper measures 14 by 9 by 6-1/2 inches, and is identical to Presto’s PopLite Hot Air Corn Popper except for color and logo. Presto covers the popper with a two-year warranty. Read more

Features

  • Electric popper uses hot air, not oil, for a healthy, low-calorie treat
  • Faster and more economical than microwave-bag popcorn
  • Produces virtually no unpopped kernels with either regular or gourmet popcorn
  • Makes up to 18 cups in less than 2-1/2 minutes
  • Handy measuring cup doubles as a butter melter;14 by 9 by 6-1/2 inches

5-0 out of 5 stars Works great; healthier and cheaper than microwave popcorn
It works great, it's healthier than microwave popcorn, and in the long run it's cheaper too. Pour in half a cup of kernels, plug it in, and within a couple minutes you've got a bowl full of fresh popcorn with only a few unpopped kernels and virtually no cleanup. It's not much louder than most microwave ovens and it's far less likely to burn the popcorn. Only one minor complaint: butter doesn't really melt completely in the cup on top (make sure you have melted butter ready to go if you want it). An on/off switch might've been nice but that's not a big deal unless you want to keep it on your countertop permanently. Oh and this product is identical to the Presto PopLite (ASIN: B00006IUWA) just with a different label (it even says so in the description above), but you get a coupon for 50 cents off Orville's with this one.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fast, easy and perfect low cal snack
After reading about all the harmful chemicals that possibly end up in microwave bagged popcorn, I decided to look into a hot air popcorn popper.I use this machine at least 3 times a week.I really like it other than it is a little loud and blows popcorn dust on counters and floors and I wish it had an on/off switch other than unplugging it from the wall.I have a GFI protected outlet so I don't feel too uncomfortable with this issue. It makes great popcorn and pops most of the kernels. It makes the perfect low cal, low fat, high fiber snack with minimal effort and preparation and easy clean up.
4-0 out of 5 stars Simply amazing and easy to use
I recently bought this awesome popper and it works great, both for the price(got mine for $15 from amazon) and performance. It does pop within 2-3 minutes and leave very few unpopped kernels. I am a college student and I know what it takes to clean-up...but hey great news...this is very easy to clean...I just wipe it with a paper napkin and its as good as new.

1-0 out of 5 stars what a waste!?!
I was sooo disappointed with this waffle iron. It's the worst piece of garbage that I have ever purchased. And very poorly made. The waffles stuck to the iron (regardless of the amount of oil used). The bottom grill didn't get hot enough and the top grill got too hot?!? I assumed that it was just a defective iron, so I returned it and was sent a replacement. It too, gave me the same problems. I wasted so much batter on this piece of junk. I threw it in the trash. This product is a total waste of time and money. I would NOT recommend anyone to buy it.

1-0 out of 5 stars Very Disappointing

The popper measures 14 by 9 by 6-1/2 inches, and is identical to Presto’s Orville Redenbacher Hot Air Corn Popper except for color and logo. Presto covers the PopLite with a two-year warranty. 1-0 out of 5 stars Burned Out After a Dozen Uses
For some reason, this unit burned itself out after six months and only about a dozen uses. It was great up until it almost caught fire, never to work again. It was always used according to the instructions: never more than half full of kernels; always popped dry without oil or butter. I would NOT buy this again.

5-0 out of 5 stars Just a fun machine, nice light popcorn fast
I remeber a family friend had an air popper when I was a kid, one of the old originals, and the game was always to blow the top off of it. Well, the first thing that came to mind when I got my first appartment after college for warming gifts was an air popcorn popper, that was 7 years ago and 3 places later.I love this machine. I have a traditional popper as well, and their is always the microwave, but you never really realize how much oil is stuck to the kernal in traditional poppers. This machine makes popcorn fast and so light, it great to eat without anything. One thing is a caution at the end, if the last few kernals are not popping, when you stop the machine, take a second or two (using oven mits) to tilt the machine to drop the unpopped kernals out. Although usually their may be one or two only (does an excellent job) don't let the kernals burn on the hot grates, hard to clean up, and it smells. Also, at the end of the pop, it can get a bit crazy trying to catch the last few flying kernal the come shooting out the air flow, they even pop sometime outside the popper in the bowl. I find it fun, and kids would help by chaising them, so a few cheep seconds of entertainment for the family as well. So, if you like a light popcorn that is much healther, this is it.Presto has made this machine or a form of it for years, and they do it right. Enjoy

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect Popcorn In Seconds.
Bought this because of the positive reviews and we needed something healthier than microwave. Also our dome shaped popper seemed to be steaming the popping kernels, turning out soggy popcorn.

5-0 out of 5 stars great time saver and fun device
I have to say I am amazed at this little device!I have a husband who works in construction, 2 teenage boys, 1 big dog and 3 cats. And all white tile floors. If it can clean mine, it can clean for EVERYONE.I love this little device. No, it doesn't get corners, but who does when mopping unless you are on your hands and knees.I work full time and my kids are in sports so I'd rather not use what precious time I have cleaning my floors, which stay clean for 1 minute. In fact, it is in my boy's bathroom doing the floor while I'm typing this.Highly recommend to everyone. Its easy to assemble and use.And being a sucker for new electronics, I like the beeping noises it makes when starting and when its finished.I only wish they had a longer lasting battery.

2-0 out of 5 stars Misses corners, other spots, can't remove caked dirt, leaves floor wet, gets stuck easily.
Just got our Scooba and have been testing it out in the kitchen and bathroom. We're not too impressed. For one, it can't reach corners, nor does it really get the very edges of walls, so you end up having to mop those us yourself. Then it leaves the floor pretty wet, and during the many times that it gets stuck, if you stop it and lift it up, it leaves a dirty puddle of brown water behind. It seems to get stuck easily, as well as not recognizing the carpet (though it does get stuck on carpet, so at least it doesn't venture out into a carpeted room). Certainly not comparable to the Roomba, which we have and love!

3-0 out of 5 stars Needs another generation or two
Our kitchen tile floor gets pretty sticky since we have four kids under 10, so we really wanted this to work.Figuring there would be a few bugs, we decided to wait until the second generation came out and then give it a try. After about 45 days we returned it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Filters
Wow! Finally a product that does what it claims to do; it filters water! Incroyable!

4-0 out of 5 stars they work fine aslong as you prep them properly
I have always used the water filters and had no complaints.Just make sure you soak them for a few minutes and run a few cups of water (no coffee) through your coffee maker when you put a new one in.This will eliminate any stray charcoal in the first pot of coffee you brew with a new filter.

5-0 out of 5 stars may use these in lieu of KitchenAid 3-pc. Charcoal Filters
Since KitchenAid has shamefully discontinued their 3-pc. Charcoal Filters KCMCF essential for their coffee makers, you can easily use these Capresso 4440.90 3-pack Charcoal Water Filters instead; they're a perfect fit! Just save and reuse the little black plastic filter holder and replace the white filter packs inside. Thank you Capresso! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Fast, Easy, Very Good Buy! Works Great!Safety Features Not a Problem.
I bought this for my mother-in-law to use to make meals for her mother who is 90 years old and can no longer wear dentures. It is amazing!"Grandmother" can now eat regular foods just like us.I've pureed everything from hotdogs, to vegetables, to meats, to french fries for her and she really enjoys the food!I've also used it to make homemade whipped cream, cucumber veggie chips (for my dehydrator), banana nut bread, salads, coleslaw, and cheese dip for the rest of us.It shreds a block of cheese in about 30 seconds. The first time I tried to use the machine, it did not work and only by looking at the instructions again, did I realize it was because I had the bowl on backwards.Once I put it on the correct way, it worked fine.I'm happy about the safety features because I had to get stitches a few years ago after cutting my fingers on a handheld blender because I was tired and not paying attention.I like knowing that the cuisinart will not start if I have assembled it incorrectly.Unlike one of the other reviewers, I haven't experienced a "wait time" to use the Cuisinart if I have assembled it incorrectly and have to reassemble it.There is also no worrying about lining anything up correctly. You just have to make sure you have the bowl on with the handle facing the push buttons because otherwise the push top cannot lock in.This is very easy and within a few uses you will immediately recognize which way to assemble the cuisinart. Like the other reviewers said, Keep it out on your kitchen counter and you will use it more often. Cleanup is pretty easy. I've washed it in the dishwasher with no problems. The 14 cup size is perfect for a family of 4 or more, and really even if you are only cooking for 2, this is still a great machine.I like cooking extra food so I have leftovers for later.Fast and Easy! I'm very happy I decided to spend the money.I highly recommend this product.

5-0 out of 5 stars Oddly enough.......
I'm a professional chef, but I've made do for years with a Black and Decker food processor at home, while using the far sturdier Cuisinart or Robocoup at work. Maybe it wasn't a big deal because I work pretty fast with a knife so I really don't use any food processor very much, but I finally took the plunge and went first class, the Cuisinart. The B&D worked great, and at <$40 bucks 10 years ago, I've gotten more than my money's worth and still felt it had enough life to pass it along to a friend, but just looking at the stainless steel Cuisinart sitting on my counter makes me happy. If it is anywhere near the equal of the model I have at the restaurant, it will last forever, and look good too! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great price; last a while
These humidifier filters are as cheap as they get and lasts forever! We live in the Southwestern desert and our family members all have naturally dry skin so our humidifiers practically run year around (one in each bedroom, 365 nights a year).I only need to replace these filters about twice a year because, every month, I soak them in vinegar to remove the hard water deposits. This keeps the filters supple and able to absorb/output more moisture into the air.Don't buy the cheap "fakes" on eBay; get the original Vornado filters; they'll last a whole lot longer than the "fakes".Love the Vornado humidifiers too -- easiest to use and clean!

3-0 out of 5 stars Ok but not for me..
Pretty expensive considering these little paper wicks will last youabout 2 months until they start smelling and looking really bad.I recommend opting for a "wickless" humidifier.I ended throwing these out along with the humidifier for the new Vick's humidifier which is has the option for a warm or cool setting.

5-0 out of 5 stars where do you buy humidifier wicks?
I looked in all the local store websites for 2 days because

3-0 out of 5 stars Loved it but now unhappy
I love that it is so easy to clean - just take it apart and put it in the dishwasher (especially since I hate washing dishes) but after only two washes in the dishwasher (on the top shelf even) the lettering has smudged so badly I can't read it anymore and I am unable to tell what temperature I have set the fryer for.It would be nice if they could come up with something more permanent.

1-0 out of 5 stars Disappointing
We used this item a few times at home. It gives out a terrible smell. We could not use it inside the house. Then we used it a couple of times in the backyard. However it is so inconvinient. Cleaning is also very difficult. We pretty much never use it anymore. It turned out to be another useless kitchen electronic.
1-0 out of 5 stars Wouldn't buy it again
Wanted this because of the way it lets you drain the oil so that the next time you use the fryer the oil is clean. That's the only good thing about it. I've had mine a few months now. The first time I used it and washed it , the writing came off the front so you can't tell where to turn the knob for the right temperature. The oil leaks out the bottom (even though I make sure it securely seated on the heating unit) and goes across the counter, can't pick it up to clean the oil up until it cools down. The handle on the basket won't stay locked and when you go to pick it up out of the fryer with the hot food in it, it comes unlocked. After burning my hand because of this, I decided to write this review. If I can find one I'll go back to using the Grandpappy. ... Read more
