AVOID THIS ONE
Only had this coffee maker ( second replacement) one year and it leaked from all over my counter. I asked for a replacement, crazy huh, and was told NO my time had run out. Well I am off on a hunt for a good coffee maker. THIS WAS NOT IT !! Do not waste your money.

Great Coffeemaker!
I had been using a Braun Flavorselect for several years, which was a great coffemaker but was showing its age.So when I started reading up on new models out there, feedback didn't seem so great for the new Brauns.So I found this one, loved the looks and the features, and the feedback seemed very positive.
Not worth the money.
I purchased this electric because of it's striking design, and programable delayed brewing. While it worked nicely for two years, just a month out of warranty it died! Overhaul, it was a good coffee maker but several design quirks made it difficult to use. The very small water reservior filling area is almost unusable. It's such a confined area, you end up spilling water all over the place. The second quirk is the NON- LIT very small digital display. Putting aside it only lasted two years, I decided to purchase another one. I ran out to one of local retailers and paid the $79 retail pop, used the new pot 3 days and the display died. It would shut off mid brew. At this point I returned it and bought a Mr Coffee 12 cup programable pot which I am very pleased with. In closing, the Cuisinart is too expensive, and doesn't over anything different than the 100s of other brands out there. ... Read more

Really Bad Product...Ugh
Horrid, bitter, watery waste of money. I have tried these 5 times now. I am stuck with a quantity and just keep hoping it will somehow get better. No. I am reminded each time how bad it was the time before. There just is no body at all! Colored water with no flavor.

I have tried almost all of the Senseo flavors now, and I have to say that the Cappuccino may be the worst. The flavor is very bitter. Not that I would expect an actual cappuccino to come out of my Senseo machine, but I thought it would at least taste okay. It does have a nice, smooth texture, but I just can't enjoy the taste. Great Idea, but poor design. Grounds everywhere!
Purchased this item and and it worked fine for a few weeks. Then it started to overflow the grounds outside of the basket and into the water tank, water spreader and into the cup of coffee. Black and Decker replaced the coffee basket but that did not help, when I called them back they offered to send a "refurbished" replacement for $7.50 (the original price for the brand new unit was only $15) if I sent them back a piece of the power cord. And if the replacement unit does the same thing, then I would only have $22.50 in a non-useable unit. No thanks! I would suggest you stay away from this item.

No waste and no extra expense!
I had a small 4 cup coffee maker for years but had to make 2 cups in it to taste right, even though I only drank one cup. I'd forget about the second unnecessary cup, and it would sit in the pot all day while I was at work & eventually stunk up the kitchen over time.

My First Brita
This is my first Brita pitcher, and I am confident in saying it won't be my last. I needed something that fits in the mini-fridges for college and this... fits. I don't drink excessive amounts of water, but I do however want the water I do drink to be clean, so Brita does the job. As I understand it, all the filters have a "problem" with the charcoal, which is fixed by filtering water through it until it runs clear. Which is worth the effort. This model hasn't broken or leaked or given me any kind of problems (partially because I don't fill it up to the top) I think I've heard of.

The product is exellent, the only priblem with this is little bit small, I would prerfer to have bigger one, as other wise need to pour the water frequently.

Filter It
This pitcher is very handy. Slim fits well in the fridge. Occasionally you will get black stuff in the water from the filter, but only 2 out of 25 or so glasses so far. The only thing I question is how much is it really filtering?? It does however seem worth it!

Cusinart, good quality
This is my second DLC-10.The only reason for replacement is because the bowl cracked and it became cost effective to just make a machine rerplacement.I have all the disks and such and like the machine very much as I have had it for 20 years.

I have been using a Hamilton Beach processor for the past few years because it was a gift and I didn't want to spend the money to buy my own. Am I glad I did! There's a reason everyone uses the word Cuisinart when referring to a food processor. No one else should even try to produce one. In the case of this food processor, it comes down to that old saying: "you get what you pay for." You have to spend a little more money but you get a lot more product!

A super help around the house!
I really love these things.I have them permanently set under both my bed and my couch--you can't see them.It would be impossible for me to move my sleigh bed around by myself without them.It makes it easy for me to vacuum under things and they are relatively inexpensive.I did have to trim the excess foam from around the feet of my bed--my cat has a sick love-vomit relationship to all things foam, and I had to get all the orange foam away from where he could bite/claw it.

All around excellent oven
I purchased this oven to replace my toaster and to use in place of my large convection oven for daily cooking. So far I have made lamb, steak, and BBQ chicken. All of the meats came out beautifully cooked and moist and tender on the inside. I broil the meats following the cooking times in the Betty Crocker's New Cookbook. Additionally, I made a bagel, which I put sliced side up, increased the darkness by two levels, and used the bagel feature. It came out perfectly and evenly golden brown, better than my previous Russell Hobbs toaster. I do agree with other reviewers that it would be nice to have the option to have it turn off when the timer runs out.Overall, highly recommended.

LOL at the bad toaster comments
Doesn't anybody remember the good ole days of using a toaster oven? They're not SUPPOSED to toast on both sides! I'm sorry, but I'm laughing out loud at the folks who've posted comments about this toaster oven not being good because it doesn't toast on both sides. This is a "toaster oven", not a "toaster". Hello!? If you want your toast toasted on both sides, then buy a toaster. lol. What a toaster oven does, is toast the top of things, and it warms things like frozen pizzas, pot pies, casseroles, etc. I've never actually baked anything in one, so can't comment on its baking ability. But this is a good toaster oven...if you use it for its intended purpose. :)

I'm single and live in a small apartment. I don't like to crank up the oven because preheating takes a good 10-15 minutes, and cooldown just as long. And then there's the fact that it heats up the entire place. Not fun in summer in the South!

Great for the Price
I studied and researched for a long time on the grind and brew makers.Melitta was by far the least expensive and has really pretty good reviews from others.I have used this machine almost every day since last December (10 months now) and have never had one single problem. I use the timer mode and that is what I wake up to every morning.I am a light sleeper so I don't even set the alarm. I wake up when I hear the machine start to grind and wait a few minutes to get out of bed and go out to the kitchen and voila, it is done and fresh and wonderful.This is my first review I put on Amazon because I felt so strongly about this great machine.

Weak Cold Coffee
I read all the reviews here on Amazon and thought this was the coffeemaker to buy. Most of all I wanted a coffeemaker that had a brewing tempature of 195 to 205. This is needed to fully extract all the oils and flavor from the bean. I was disappointed when the pot arrived and I brewed the first cup. The coffee was tepid at best. I knew the brewing temp was too low. I then checked the water coming out of the brewer and it was only 175 degrees. I have to microwave every cup to get hot enough to drink. The coffee is also very weak and I have to add extra beans to get any flavor. One trick I did find is to wait for the beans to grind and stop the brewer. Then I remove the brew basket and shake it to get all the grinds to go to the bottom of the basket. This seemed to make the coffee stronger. Oh well, back to the search for a hot coffeemaker

Worked fine...for a while
This worked pretty well for me 2-3 times a week for 18 months.Then the plunger used to spin the inner colander started jamming and finally couldn't get unstuck.I still use parts of this as a bowl and colander.Still, I would expect this to last a little longer.

Love it
I make about 5 - 6 quarts of yogurt with this machine every week. My kids love them. My favorite is to mix with honey and frozen mixed berries. My kids love yogurt with real mapple syrup and granola or crushed M&Ms. We have yogurt for breakfast almost every morning, that's why I have to keep making them.

After finding the filter for $25 on the manufacturers website, I thought I better shop around... I found the same filter on Amazon for $5!And it's working perfecctly.

Not What I Ordered
This is not the filter you shipped.I wanted the one which goes in water cooler and has the red indicator switch.Instead I received another model which does NOT fit into the cooler properly. BEWARE!

BUYER BEWARE!!
This item is actually great.But, beware.Iordered this item thinking it is going to be the CRF-950L like they advertise.But I was sent out the CRZ-950Z instead.They are the same filter, except that the L as a monitor top as it says in the description and the box has the word Ultimate on it.The 950Z has neither feature.Again, they are the same filter (as far as I can tell), but this is not what is advertised nor what I purchased. I am now on my second return with Amazon now and will continue to return it untill they send me the correct item.

Water tastes better
But you can't trust the pitchers to hold up.They tend to develop minute cracks and leaks.Still preferable to storing bottled water and hopefully Pur will get the pitchers straightened out. ... Read more

Fantastic meat grinder if you have the Kitchenaid mixer
Even if you never thought you wanted to grind meat yourself, you should consider getting this.Anyone who has traveled to Europe can tell you that we Americans have been getting fed the most flavorless sausage in the world.But, it doesn't have to be that way.You can find recipes and casings online and make them yourself.To make sausage, you will also need the sausage stuffer for the Kitchenaid stand mixer.We have also discovered that grinding your own meat for hamburgers makes for more of a difference than you would think (hint: check out Alton Brown's hamburger recipe on foodtv.com).
