5-0 out of 5 stars Very good value for your money
I'm very happy with this CD Wallet. I used to have stacks of DVD's and they collected dust and took lots of space. It was hard to find the DVD I wanted or simply browse them. Now it is all very organized and easy to browse. I don't care about the order; I just stick DVD's into the sleeves in the pages, 8 per page (4 per side). I don't take this case anywhere so I'm not sure how robust it will be in the long run but for home use it is very good. Good return on investment. I'm not totally happy with the zipper location but it's not an issue overall. Good quality. Recommended.
5-0 out of 5 stars Minimize the storage space of your collection
As the specificiations say, it has pages to hold 320 discs (or 160 with liner notes) with additional capacity on the inside cover. For those who prefer to keep liner notes, I found that each individual pocket is large enough to hold both a disc and liner note only if liner notes are thin.As a test, I put 320 discs with liner notes and found the wallet became too bulky, too heavy.Overall the wallet works well and looks good. This product is also available in faux leather, which may be preferred by some.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great organizer
Finally. Pitch the cases. It's actually liberating.Quit reading stupid reviews from people who could be complete idiots.Go with it. Especially these days, with most of your stuff turning to MP3 anyhow.I'm stuck with a 60 CD changer, but love the rapid access that these binders are. ... Read more

Cook meats and vegetables all in one place at one temperature with this skillet, as its versatile design allows a dish to be started on the stovetop and finished in the oven. Its 10-inch size is ideal for cooking a meal for the whole family, and the convenient helper handle makes this skillet easy to transfer into the oven. No need to worry about the handles melting, either, as they're oven-safe up to 350 degrees F. The nonstick surface on both the interior and exterior walls ensures that foods don't stick and that cleanup is quick--just wash by hand with a mild detergent. Hard-anodized aluminum cookware is twice as durable as stainless steel, and Meyer is so sure of its product that this skillet has a lifetime warranty. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great, solid skillet... and for 10 bucks!!!
It's great! I didn't expect to get such a "serious" (hefty) skillet for such a price! Great, easily washable surfaces on the inside and outside.
5-0 out of 5 stars Works great
Non-stick surface is superb and produces great results. Now all of my cooking blunders will be my fault, not my junk pans'.This is a hefty pan too (4lb shipping weight), the most solid I've seen at this price.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great pan; wish I had more of them
We got a lot of nice pans from our wedding registry, but none of the non-stick stuff we requested.A few months later, I noticed this pan on Amazon's Friday sale and given that it was $15 or $20, decided it couldn't hurt to try this guy out.

Editorial Review

This multipurpose tool created a stir in the kitchen when it came out, as the food processor did a generation earlier. In order to blend, whip, and chop smaller amounts of ingredients, it's no longer necessary to wrestle with bulky appliances. Immerse the 7-1/2-inch blender shaft, with its little blade on the end, into a pot where vegetables have been simmering, press the switch, and in seconds a creamy soup appears--with no need to dump everything into a big blender. Blend sauces and baby foods in their cooking pots, too. Blend a milk shake or juice drink right in its drinking container, or in the 2-1/2-cup beaker included in this set. Whipping cream and egg whites is just as convenient: a 5-inch whisk attaches to the motor when the blender is removed. For chopping nuts, herbs, garlic, or onions, there's a 2-cup chopper bowl with a special blade. The motor with the attached blender shaft can be mounted on a wall (mount included). Everything but the motor and the chopper-bowl top (both should be wiped with a damp cloth) can go into the dishwasher. This tool is more than handy, it's a revolution. The instruction sheet, unfortunately, is harder to comprehend than the tool is to use. Read more

Features

  • Set includes blender, whisk, chopper, bowl, beaker, and wall mount
  • Blends soups, sauces, baby food, juice drinks, and milk shakes
  • Whips cream, egg whites, and puddings
  • Chops herbs, nuts, garlic, and onions
  • One-year warranty against defects

1-0 out of 5 stars Motor dies
The motor of this thing died and almost burned my hand in the process. I was trying to chop raisins (bad idea, however no word about that in the instructions... they tell you to not chop cheese, but nuts are said to be OK) and after a couple of seconds, a spark came out of the button where I was holding the blender(since you need to press the button to have it work, you have to hold it there).
5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT!!!
We use it to make food for our 8 month old. We've been using it for about 3-4 months now and it's worth every penny.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Set
I received this hand blender as a gift, and i was very happy with it. Its a must have in every kitchen as its very handy. The chopper bowl also does a great job to make diffrent pastes. Again a good item to gift. I would definitely recommend this.

4-0 out of 5 stars Okay, not great
All right, we today became beneficiaries of a free coffee maker from Senseo, thanks to a generous tip from a favorite of my Amazon friends.
2-0 out of 5 stars Okay but there is better out there for less
I used to have no problem with these, until one day on an impulse I decided to give Target's Archer Farms brand coffee pods a try (breakfast blend aka medium roast). They cost less, are bigger, individually wrapped and produce a much smoother coffee. Now I can't drink Douwe Egberts anymore and am hooked on Archer Farms.

2-0 out of 5 stars Full-bodied, but harsh!
Recently I ended up trying out the Senseo system, and I tried it with the Douwe Egberts medium roast pods. Normally I drink cold-brewed Toddy coffee, and even though I'm sensitive to bitterness and acid levels in coffee, I can drink that with just dairy, no sugar. I immediately needed quite a bit of sugar for this coffee--and then I had to start drinking half my usual amount of coffee. It was so bitter I almost couldn't drink it. It was so acidic it made my stomach hurt. And it was so caffeinated I got the shakes that first time.

Combining long-lasting brushed stainless steel with an elegant design, this 10-cup coffee maker features a double-wall vacuum-insulated thermal carafe and a flavor-sealing brew-through lid that keeps freshly brewed coffee hot for hours. 2-0 out of 5 stars Let down for a Braun believer!
First, a little history... My coffeemakers have been as follows:
2-0 out of 5 stars Shut-off time confusion in many reviews
First, there really is no problem at all with the 17 minute shutoff when it comes to keeping coffee hot. This model has no heater whatsoever in its base as some people apparently expect--the carafe is supposed to keep the coffee hot without an external heater. The 17 minute shutoff is strictly for added safety. Should the brewing thermostat be stuck in the "on" position after all the water had passed up into the basket, the shutoff would prevent that heater from melting down and causing a fire. Our unit brews completely within 5 minutes tops, so 17 minutes is more than adequate.
3-0 out of 5 stars An okay coffee maker, less than expected
The on button does not stay "on" for long. The coffee ends up getting cold in the thermal carafe, which really isn't that thermal.Looks nice, but doesn't function great. The taste of the coffee is okay though, when it is hot.The Brita filters that come with the coffee maker are, in my experience, hard to find.In ordering them on Amazon, there was a three week wait for them.Keep this in mind as the filters only have a two month lifespan. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Inexpensive and Works Fine
Our 6-year old Panasonic died (motor armature burned out) and we replaced it with this Hoover.Weight and performance are comperable to the old Panasonic ($160 new) and it's an incredible bargain at $60.I am giving it only 4 stars because although it's about as loud as the Panasonic, the sound is higher-pitched and is, to my ears, more annoying. No problems so far after 6 weeks of use.

4-0 out of 5 stars CLEAN THE FILTERS!!!!
I was just about to write a review detailing how this vacuum worked great at the start and after a week it stinks. The thing is, this cleaner is so strong that the first day I had to empty the bagless bin four times. There was such a build up of dirt that all 3 filters, and the area with the rotating brushes were completely clogged with dust and hair. The hand hose didn't suck anymore, and I wasn't sure if it ever did.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great for any home
I've had experience with quite a few vacuums (kirby, dirt devil, generic pieces of crap, etc), and this one is the best so far.Suction is great, it's powerful and does get to those corners well.I actually like where the on/off button is, it's really easy for me to reach.I've only had it about 2 months, but I have nothing but praises for it.It's quite light, which is good for smaller folks like me who can't lift 100 ton vacuums.Assembly instructions were easy and quick, and I feel like I could quickly and effectively change or fix the belt should it ever break or malfunction (which it hasn't so far).Overall, it does a great job, just as good as any other bagged vaccuum, in my opinion.I hope this review helps someone because the previous ones helped me to pick this product. Thanks! ... Read more

Hoover’s latest canister stands out for its design-savvy looks, not to mention the fact that it cleans with powerful WindTunnel technology. Dirt particles are cleverly ducted away from the spinning agitators to ensure they’re captured in the bagless dirt cup and not sent back out onto the carpet. The HEPA filter traps minute allergen particles and conveniently removes for cleaning. Large, soft wheels allow the compact 12-amp vacuum--which looks like it could play a robot extra in Star Wars--to maneuver easily. Best of all, the handgrip features electronic control buttons for power on and off, variable suction (allowing smooth transition from wood floors to area rugs), and agitator action speed for carpets. Tools are easily attached to the telescoping wand, making it a snap to switch from cleaning floors to using drape and upholstery tools. 5-0 out of 5 stars Gr8 Little Vacuum
I just received my Hoover and tried it out.Was amazed at how much dirt it picked up!I thought my old Eureka was great, but this little guy picked up more dirt than my Eureka did in a month. Will take a bit getting used to it, but I'm already very happy with it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best vaccum ever!!!! I've owned two!!!
I bought this vaccum two years ago from Best Buy for $400,after much research and consideration. It is the only vaccum I've had that can clean every room and under beds with out alot of heartache. It is so powerful it will suck toys and clothes out from under beds, and pick up dog food with no problem. I LOVE it! A piece broke on one of my attachments, and Best Buy made me bring in the whole vaccum to do the repair. They said it cost to much to fix and assumed I'd take a store credit or trade. They then proceeded to throw my vaccum away without asking me if I wanted to do an exchange. Anyways, they carried nothing close to comparable to my vaccum, and so they ended up giving me a full refund, so I could buy another one. I bought this one two weeks ago and it is identicle to the other. I STILL LOVE IT!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars A great purchase
In the market for a new vacuum I did alot of research and settled on the windtunnel.I really wanted a canister and for the price and the reviews this seemed like the best deal.I am very happy with the purchase.I have 4 cats and I don't think my house was ever this clean.I love having no bags.I love the fact it's a canister (I previously owned the windtunnel upright). The suction is amazing. The cleaning tool for furniture is the first thing I have ever found to actually effectively clean cat hair off of fabric furniture. This is a great vacuum! ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Cheap Hot Water
This is a phenomenal price for an electric kettle. The lid doesn't seat so tightly, and it doesn't feel terribly robust, but for the cost, this will make tea and instant coffee in your office, dorm or home. We even heat up spagetti boiling water in it to speed it along the way (pouring it into the spaghetti pot to get a head start.)

Coated inside with DuPont's exceptionally durable, three-layer Autograph nonstick, the pot and pans in this eight-piece cookware set are made of hard-anodized aluminum so they're harder than steel. The set comprises 1-1/2-quart and 2-quart saucepans with lids; a 6-quart stockpot with lid for simmering stocks and soups; a 10-inch sauté pan with high, straight sides that provide room for cooking meat, poultry, seafood, or vegetables; and an 8-inch, slope-sided skillet. (The stockpot's lid also fits the skillet.) Because they're aluminum, the pot and pans conduct heat quickly and uniformly without hot spots. Exteriors resist scratching and denting and show the matte-finish gray that characterizes the hard-anodizing process. Synthetic handles and lid knobs are oven-safe to 350 degrees F, and handles are riveted for strength. Lids are made of break-resistant glass so food can be monitored while it's cooking without releasing heat. The cookware should be hand washed and carries and lifetime warranty against defects. 2-0 out of 5 stars Nonstick? Right
I have had my analon "professional" since 1996, I loved it at first, in fact, I don't even own metal utensils, so I was confident it would never scratch the non-stick finish. Now, 10 years later, I can tell you that all the pans I barely used, are still fine, look good. The pans I used daily (the fry pans) are absolute messes. I cook with egg whites a lot, so I think that having something so hard to get off really had taken a toll on the pans.
4-0 out of 5 stars good but can be better
Overall is good. The sizes of the 2 sauce pots are too close. I never use the smaller one. It is useless. So, you are actually buying 6 pc instead of 8 pc, unless you have a lot of different sauce to cook in 1 meal!

5-0 out of 5 stars A nice beginning set.
We recently decided to resupply our kitchen and this set was a perfect starting point, providing the basic essentials and we then purchased other individual pieces to round it out.Everything in the set is very nice quality, excellent heat distribution and the non-stick is verk slick. They are nice and thick without being too heavy, have good solid bases and the glass lids, which we both prefer. ... This appealing blender looks great, with a rounded triangularshape that marries form and function. It pours perfectly and cleansbeautifully, but what we noticed first was the terrific grip on thehandle: firm and comfortable, like a great handshake. The lid is alsowell designed, sealing easily and snugly, with tiny rubber tipsattached on three sides to facilitate a smooth release and opening. This blender packs a lot of power, puréeing in seconds andturning eggs and oil into mayonnaise in fewer than two minutes. 1-0 out of 5 stars Defective and Impossible to Return
As mentioned by other reviewers, the gear at the base of the blender (which drives the blade) is made of plastic, and the teeth break off easily.I owned this product for 6 months, only making my daily smoothie and my son's protien shake, and three of the six gear teeth broke off.The major problem is this, however -- the blender is virtually impossible to return unless you live close to one of the "authorized" repair shops that Braun has listed on their website. You can't return it to Amazon after 30 days, and Braun will only repair or replace defective items through their difficult-to-find repair sites.Don't waste your money on this one.

1-0 out of 5 stars High expectations, disappointing results
We purchased this blender because it was rated a Consumer Reports Best Buy.However, about 30 seconds into its very first use (making a simple smoothie), it started emitting a HORRIBLE, burning plastic sort of smell that quickly filled the kitchen. I wasn't terribly impressed with the blender's power either, as it didn't seem like a significant improvement over the cheap Oster it's replacing. As mentioned by some other reviewers, the jug design is not ideal for pouring, and seems to promote drips. On a positive note, I do appreciate the fact that everything (except the base, of course) is dishwasher safe.

1-0 out of 5 stars Disappointed
I bought this blender (like other reviewers) based on consumer reports recommendation.I had it only 6 months. The plastic gears have stripped twice, and the teeth on the bottom of the jar have broken too. This is a cheaply made blender, which worked OK for smoothies, but I would not recommend it over any other cheap blender. I had the blender repaired under warranty the first time, but won't waste my time now that it broke again.Save your money. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars great for measuring power usage ON and OFF
This is a very handy gadget for seeing how much power various appliances are burning. But don't make one reviewer's mistake, and assume you can calculate yearly power usage by measuring power use only when a device is on, and then multiplying by number of hours a year you have it on.(His example: TV use 3 hrs a day, so 3 x 365 x watts/hr)
5-0 out of 5 stars Kill-a-Watt
Excellent product that helps you monitor and manage the electrical usage in your home.

5-0 out of 5 stars easily finds wasted energy
This is a must have tool.It is very easy to use.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great purifier - very quiet
Almost perfect...lacks the last star only because the cord is way too short (what were they THINKING?!).
4-0 out of 5 stars Does it's job
I get a decently clogged nose while I sleep that causes me to wake up and clear it once or twice a night. I got tired of that, but didn't like the option of using nasal steroids (i.e. Flonase) everyday for the rest of my life, so I decided (after some research) to get this hepa filter. I was pretty excited because of all the other raving reviews on this site, so I quickly set it up and got it running. For the first two weeks or so, a strange stale-ish smell was coming out of it, but it went away after those two weeks. The first night I had it on I noticed it helped with my cloggy nose, I woke up with a pretty clear nose! It got better over time, but I never got the type of results that some people claim to get, where their allergies disappear. Mine still linger, but is a definite improvement.

Editorial Review

The FoodSaver Premier Series V1205 Vacuum Sealing Kit from Tilia keeps food fresh up to five times longer, prevents freezer burn, and locks out air and moisture. Easy to use, the home-vacuum system removes the oxygen from food items and seals bags and canisters with a one-touch system. A three-level seal control allows for varying seal times--shorter for dry foods and longer for moist foods. Hands-free operation ensures that the machine shuts off automatically, while the instant seal button stops the vacuum process to prevent delicate items from being crushed. An accessory port enables vacuum-sealing canisters, bottle stoppers, and universal lids to be attached. The handy antibacterial drip tray can be washed in the dishwasher for easier cleanup. 5-0 out of 5 stars Great Product - Saves Money
I've really been enjoying my food saver.I didn't really think it would save money overall but it defintely is.It keeps meat and vegetables very fresh tasting even after a significant time in the freezer.I don't have to throw away more pork chops that got lost in the bottom of the freezer and suffered significant freezer burn.I also find you can re-use the bags (from non raw meat storage) if you cut them appropriately so that's not a total waste either.Great product, helps me save money and is easy to use and pretty minimal storage size too.

3-0 out of 5 stars Doesn't Last
I am now on my 3rd foodsaver in six or seven years. While they are working properly they are great. After about two years, they always seem to stop drawing a vaccuum. The vaccuum pump will run and run but it will not draw a vaccuum. With all the freezing my family does we will continue to keep replacing them because the quality of the vegetables is extended by well over a year. It's worth it to us to replace them every two years. I just wish Tilia would build one at reasonable price that would last about five years.

1-0 out of 5 stars Died after three weeks
For the first three weeks I was very happy with this product. It sealed both bags and canisters quickly and efficiently.

5-0 out of 5 stars Yeah!Hoover S2220 does the job!
After having my Eureka for 7 1/2 years, which I loved, I was on a mission to find a comparable vacuum that rolls smoothly on the wood floors, is fairly lightweight and has higher amps than most "electric brooms".I took a chance with the Hoover & am completely satisfied.I actually like this one better! It is a little bit heavier than my previous vacuum, but really not a major issue.I would recommend this to anyone with wood floors that need clean up daily (or more!).Picks up crumbs, dirt, dog hairs, without any problems. Also works well on the area rugs for a quick once-over.

5-0 out of 5 stars Thank you Hoover for the Flair
Two adults + 2 kids + 2 dogs = Hoover Flair rates at 5 stars. We have tile, wood, carpeted floors (berber) and the Flair sucks like a 12 amp champ.Keep in mind this is not a 12 amp vacuum but for a lite floor vacuum it responds like one.I purchased this vacuum mainly to use on by tile and wood floors and I'm 100% satisified. This vacuum is very light, swivel is a big plus, picks up dog and people hair (bathroom) like a champ.I still us my Hoover Wind Tunnel for my once a week vacuuming for the carpet but the Flair is also good in a pinch. Also it's a quiet vacuum.
5-0 out of 5 stars As advertised.......
Pros: I bought this based on the other reviews and this is no joke. Works GREAT! Gets right in corners and is great on my carpeted stairwell. I live in a one bedroom loft and don't need a big vacuum, but this works just as well if not better then most.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty good Blender for the price
I make smoothies nearly every morning and the occasional party drinks (Margs, Coladas, etc.). I had been using a basic Oster blender that I purchased from, I think, Target in college over 5 years ago. It got the job done, it was just VERY loud and I was always having to stick a spoon down in it to break up "ice jams". So I figured it was time for an upgrade. I was hesitant to buy this machine because it was refurbished and didn't want someone's nasty used goods on my kitchen counter. I've also noticed that KitchenAid stuff is very hit-or-miss with the quality. Some items such as my pancake griddle and kitchen tools (can opener, mixing spoons, spatulas, etc) are excellent. Other items like the hand food chopper and the vegetable and apple multi-slicer just plain SUCK! So, I took the gamble. My refurbished blender came yesterday and was in good, not excellent, condition. Some of the Styrofoam had rubbed off on the lid so much that I cannot get all of it off. Also the base was a little scuffy, but overall it was in good shape for the price. I used it this morning for the first time, after washing it, to make a smoothie. It worked pretty good.It took a lot longer than I had hoped to actually blend everything evenly. I did notice that it didn't get rid of ice chunks as well as it should. However, it was SO quiet! Even on the highest pulse speed, it was so quiet. Maybe I'm comparing it to the Oster I have been using which is almost mind-numbing, even for me in the morning when my mind is already numb. Overall for the price, it's a decent blender, but nothing to really go crazy over.
1-0 out of 5 stars Not well refurbished
We received this quickly and it looked great, felt heavy and substantial etc.The first time I used it I noticed that mango was not very well blended - a mango!Hardly the toughest of fruits to blend when mixed with orange juice and a banana! The second time we used it the ball bearings seemed to stop working and the whole thing is just unusable. We will be returning this pronto and feel that we've wasted too much time on this product. It's just too much of a lottery with refurbished.I'm glad that some people got one that was properly fixed. This one was not, and I hope that some other sucker doesn't wind up with it when we return it!

4-0 out of 5 stars good little blender
I gave this blender 4 stars because it's practically perfect. It's compact enough to fit easily under my overhead cabinets. The other thing I really like is that it's so very easy to clean. The base is all smooth and you just wipe it off. No cracks or crevices to collect stuff. The only problem with this blender is that it always leaves a few small lumps of something, ice cubes or fruit. It's not a big deal and I'd love it if it blended perfectly. After other blenders I've had, the good qualities of this one more then make up for it's one downfall. Otherwise it blends quietly and very efficiently.I like the glass container, don't like the plastic ones that seem to scratch and get crummy looking. this is one of the bestblenders I've ever owned and I got it at a great price. No problems at all with it being refurbished. It was packed up like it was brand new. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Filters Don't Work
These filters don't appear to be working. My water still tastes funny. I wouldn't mind the charcoal specks if my water tasted filtered but it doesn't.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good buy
Been using this for past 4months and no complaints. It cheap and does filter water real good
1-0 out of 5 stars Poor quality filter
I recently purchased both a birta and a pur single stage filter (and a pitcher each). The taste of water from both the filters seems to be comparable.

4-0 out of 5 stars small, but nice
As mentioned in a previous review, these are 5x7 dishes.Excellent for single servings of lasagne, manicotti, etc.The sides only come up about an inch though, making a shepherd's pie or pot pie type dish a bit on the small side. The cookware is oven safe, but not broiler safe, due to the silicone handles.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great bakeware
I ordered 2 sets of these and they are perfect for us now that we are "empty nesters". Just the right size for individual servings, or a small side dish for two. Now I am back for more to give as gifts, you can't beat the price and quality.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Au Gratins for single servings
These mini Au Gratin dishes are very well made, the SureGrip handles are very comfortable and ergonomic. The dish is 7 by 5 inches, which is the perfect size for single servings. If you are looking for a larger Au Gratin dish to serve the whole family, don't buy this set. You will be disappointed to see how small the dishes are. The 1/2 quart size is just a pint size.I have tried baked scallop and baked salmon with the dishes, the result is fantastic. Cleanup is very easy. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Easy to use!Makes GREAT chicken!
I love this grill. It makes fantastically moist chicken breasts!I only wish I had gotten one earlier.Easy to clean and store.

5-0 out of 5 stars Convenient and easy to use.
I was a skeptic about this grill. The whole concept seemed kind of goofy to me. Now, after eating a perfectly cooked salmon fillet this afternoon, I wonder why anyone who doesn't have the room for a traditional grill would go without one of these creatures. The cooking was simple and the cleanup was tremendously easy with the removable plates. Of course, you do not get some of the wonders of a real grill: that smokey flavor, the ability to cook large amounts of food all at once, and, of course, gathering around this grill with a few friends and talking and drinking while you cook is pretty awkward. But what a great product!
