This grill is perfect for my use.I don't have have a tank of gas in my yard or wait for charcoal to get to the right temp.No fire hazard.All I do is plug it in wait 5 minutes and I have a grill top that browns with grill marks and nothing falls threw the grate.The size is very adequate for my needs.I can grill up to 6 chicken breats at one time.I put the cover on, close the vent, and can ensure proper doneness with juicy flavor. The grill cleans easily. I put aluminum foil over the drip pan and just toss.I found a small grill cover which keeps the unit clean and dry.I just love this grill.

good item but not really on sale at amazon
I bought this item when it was on sale at amazon but when i received the items i realised that they are manufacturing defective items. lids do not fit exactly on the bows and bowl has some black small dust like spot in it.

Great pre-filters
These filters are great and are very easy to install.I live in a house that gets dusty quick even without my 2 Australian Shepherds.I even vacuum off (don't know whether Hamiltom Beach would approve though) the pre-filters every week or so.The unit definitely catches a lot of the dog hair that floats through the air after I brush the dogs.I've found that the pre-filter does a pretty good job of catching hair and dust before it even gets to the HEPA filter. ... I like to save money by buying in bulk and portioning out foods for each meal.It cuts down on defrosting time of chicken, fish, steak, hamburger, etc., by wrapping individually instead of in one big lump. My 4 yr. old Tilia Food Saver is still working fantastic at keeping freezer burn off my frozen meats and fish. My husband and I had the same cheap knife set for years, we bought this one recently and LOVE IT! The knives are sharp, aesthetically pleasing and sturdy.We would most definitely recommend, you can't beat these for the price. I would actually gladly have paid more, they are a bargain.

I just placed an order for these knives as my first real set.My parents own this same 13-piece set, and after *at least* eight years (I grew up with these knives) they've remained very sharp and shiny.Of course, I plan to update my review once I've received my own set and have put the knives to light daily use for a few months, but having had eight+ years of experience with them at home, I know they're top-knotch if you're not willing to pay at least $100.

Great for small batches of baby food!
I would give this mixer 5 stars, except that I need to buy my third mixer in 11 years. Its nice to have one tool that is a mixer, can make healthy fruit smoothies, AND can make small batches of homemade baby food. I used this small chopper to make baby food for all 4 of my kids, the mixer to make cakes and other things, and the blender for smoothies for the kids. If you have babies, or plan on having them, this is great to have. The bad thing, is that the motor burns out. I don't feel I abuse it, or overuse it, but my first mixer burned out in about 5 years, my second in another 5 years. This is not a long term appliance. My current multimix is a 280 watt, but my first one was smaller wattage I believe.

Very good mixer for the price
I must admit that I did not have high expectations for this mixer for the price.But the unit works very well.I was initially put off by the beaters as they seem very lightweight and flimsy.But they hold up well to use in spite of their lack of heft.I have been very happy with it.

Tried this on my favorite but often dull chefs knife and after 4-6 strokes was very very sharp.Works great as promised.casing cheap so not sure how long that will last or if it will hamper it's operation. compact, stores well, would be great for motor home or other small kitchen.For $29, makes me wonder what the $99 version does that Amazon also carries. knocked a star off for the cheap plastic case.

Side snaps not acceptable
While the sharpener seems to live up to its original intent, the side snaps designed to hold the unit closed when not in use are cheap and detach easily. One of mine came apart when I first opened the sharpener.

Specific Replacement
Do not bleach your filters, they will disinegrate. Rinse them out, wash and dry the unit, put back together and run for several hours. This will dry out the filter for future use.

Filters not as good as they used to be and are higher in price.
I have been disapointed in the last filters I purchased for my humidifier.The price has gone up by several dollars and although the filters are suppose to be good for at least a month, I am finding they are not even lasting that long.I regularly clean my humidifier and make sure the water tank is odor free, I am disappointed and plan on sending a email to Hamilton Beach directly.Good Luck!
