Great disappointment. That summarizes my experience with this attachment.
5-0 out of 5 stars Amazingly easy to use, and wonderful quality in all ways.
Tonight I made my first bundle of ice cream using this item.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great Ice Cream Maker
This ice cream Maker is "GREAT".The fact that I can use an industrial motor (my kitchen Aid mixer) is fantastic. It is my belief that the ice cream maker itself is as near perfect as you can get, contrary to other reviews. If you read the description and instructions, you will find that it is not the biggest maker on the market AND that it does EXACTLY what it says it will...IT MAKES "GREAT" ICE CREAM. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Gold standard?
There are pros and cons to this conical, gold-coated filter.
5-0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT!
I have used this filter with my Grind-n-Brew for 2 years. I put it in the dishwasher at least twice and have never had any problems with it. I have no idea what these other reviewers are doing wrong, but I love this filter. I never have grounds in my coffee. There is always a little darker/thicker coffee in the bottom of a good cup of coffee!
1-0 out of 5 stars Totally disappointed
I bought this item with the impression that permanent coffee filters made coffee taste better, but I can honestly say it doesn't.Once more, there are still grounds in my coffee and a disgusting syrup at the bottom of my cup.I'm not sure if the filter I got is bad.It did come from Amazon and I haven't had problems with anything I've got from them, so I'm not necessarily accusing them of giving me bad product, but I'll leave that open for later interpretation.

164. Hamilton Beach True Air 05920 Blue Humidifier Filter
by Hamilton Beach
Kitchen
list price: $15.00
Asin: B000050AP4
Average Customer Review: 3.5 out of 5 stars

Editorial Review

In arid climates or the cold, dry days of winter, owning a humidifier makes an awful lot of sense. A humidifier protects household occupants from static electricity shocks, prevents dry, itchy skin, allows stressed lungs to breathe with more comfort, and infuses the room's environment with needed moisture to furniture, fabrics, and plants for long-lasting health. But for all of these positive attributes, using a humidifier may also produce some nasty and harmful results. If not properly cared for, a humidifier becomes the breeding ground for assorted viruses, bacteria, mildew, and mold. In other words, the soothing moist air exhaled by humidifier might be much more harmful than helpful in the long run. To keep the air clean and amply humidified, it is essential to regularly replace the humidifier's filter, where the impurities often fester. Hamilton Beach recognizes the importance of clean filters by offering this replacement filter from their True Air line. Read more

Features

  • Replacement filter for Hamilton Beach True Air 05520 and 05521 humidifiers
  • Filter replaces quickly with drop in installation; accommodates a 4-gallon steam output
  • Best used in rooms up to 1200 square feet in size; change filters every three months and clean humidifier weekly to prevent mold and germs
  • Filter measures 11.1 by 8.8 by 3.1 inches

4-0 out of 5 stars Specific Replacement
Do not bleach your filters, they will disinegrate. Rinse them out, wash and dry the unit, put back together and run for several hours. This will dry out the filter for future use.

3-0 out of 5 stars Filters not as good as they used to be and are higher in price.
I have been disapointed in the last filters I purchased for my humidifier. The price has gone up by several dollars and although the filters are suppose to be good for at least a month, I am finding they are not even lasting that long.I regularly clean my humidifier and make sure the water tank is odor free, I am disappointed and plan on sending a email to Hamilton Beach directly.Good Luck!

5-0 out of 5 stars Love, Love, Love It!!
Fabulous machine!Super quick learning curve -- easy to thread (color coded) and so easy to sew with.Everything I make now looks so professional! How did I ever get by without it!I must admit, I was a little scared to buy a serger with all the comments about how hard they are to thread, let alone use, but it's not true with this machine.I would recommend it highly. My friend looks at her Singer "Baby Lock" machine with total disdain now...She wants a Brother like mine!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great overlock serger - but there are some things it won't do
I think if you're looking at this machine, you're either a) new to serging or b) impressed by the price and interested in the quality.I'm completely new to sergers, but I did my homework before buying this one, and for the price and the performance, this serger has a perfect balance.
5-0 out of 5 stars a satisfied cusomer
I AM ALMOST 79 YEARS OLD SO I FELT I WOULD NOT NEED AN EXPENSIVE SERGER SINCE I HAVE TIMES I AM NOT ABLE TO SEW.BUT I WANTED ANOTHER SERGER THAT WAS EASIER TO THREAD. I HAD A WHITE 523 -I THINK. SO AGGRAVATING TO TRY TO THREAD. AND IT KEPT MESSING UP AND THE LOCAL SEWING MACHINE SHOP CHARGES $40 PER HOUR--AND EVEN IF THEY COULD FIX IT IN ONE HOUR WITH NO PARTS NEEDED I JUST HATED TO RISK EVEN THAT MUCH ON IT. SO AFTER WEEKS OF RESEARCHING PRICES AND THE REST - ON THE NET I SAW THAT AMAZON HAD THE BROTHERS SERGER FOR $200 AND LITTLE IF ANY COST FOR SHIPPING.IT IS A PLEASURE TO WORK WITH IT ON MY SMALL PROJECTS. ... So far so good.Makes great tasting coffee.Brews coffee as fast or faster than those "drip machines".Two minor complaints - I wish it had an indicator light to show the unit is plugged in, and should have a water level indicator.

Very noisy and takes too long to brew.Boxed it up to return but I misplaced the packing slip. Will keep using mom's very old Corelle electric percolator.

Editorial Review

Founded in 1756, Austria’s Riedel Crystal is the world’s premier manufacturer of wine glasses and has always catered to the fine wine connoisseur. However, these wine tumblers are part of the company’s first attempt at producing a lower priced wine glass for casual entertaining. Like Riedel’s prestigious Vinum series of glasses, these tumblers are specifically designed for a particular grape varietal and still maintain their ability to enhance the flavors and aromas of the wines they were intended for. The only difference is that the tumblers are missing their stems, making them slightly less delicate to handle, more modern in appearance, and easier to fit in smaller cabinets, mini bars, picnic baskets, and the dishwasher. 2-0 out of 5 stars super breakable!
were great until they broke in the sink while washing...too fragile for everyday use.

4-0 out of 5 stars Wine Tastes Better!
Swirl your cab in these glasses, and it smells fantastic. While other reviewers have rightly given accolades to the functionality and beauty of the design, most important is that these tumblers truly make for a better taste and bouquet. We were first introduced to "O" at a tasting at Miner Vineyard in Napa, and have been fans ever since.

5-0 out of 5 stars Lovely and delicate even without the stem!
I love these. Like a reviewer below, my husband has broken our wine glasses. 5 stems off a set of 8! I gave up and ordered these :-)They are wonderful. delicate and pretty but as foolproof as a wineglass can get. They *are* thin but they are a joy to use and suit our more casual home perfectly. I enjoy serving our friends with these while we watch old movies! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Incorrect readings and looks cheap
I opened the box and followed the instructions mentioned. Waited for 15 minutes but nothing happened. Had to set the time manually.
4-0 out of 5 stars Good product
I've had one of these for a couple of months now.I'm in AZ and it syncs with the atomic clock well. The projection works perfectly at night.I don't like ANY light in my room at night and it just puts out a faint red time and outside temp on the ceiling. It is not annoying at all.But it is also not bright enough to overcome any light. The projection is not readable in the day at all and the little light in the unit can't be set to stay on, so sometimes it's a little hard to read in the morning.
4-0 out of 5 stars not perfect but enought good

With its 7-cup work bowl, 600 watts of power, and slicing and shredding discs, this food processor is ideal for most households. The plastic work bowl is shatterproof and resists both heat and cold. A single fingertip control turns the processor on and off and pulses for precise work. All parts go safely into the dishwasher. 5-0 out of 5 stars Now I'm a Believer
When my girlfriend recieved this for her birthday (she's a long time believer in the Cuisinart) I knew it would be an upgrade from my modest hand me down food processor, but I was blown away.First off it weighs a ton, which really means something with motors. The weight was put to good use, as it effortlessly mowed through food, and it did so with a delicacy that makes food so enjoyable (I ate enough pulverized crap as an infant, so I appreciate foods with texture, and the sharp blades make sure things stay the way they should).I never thought the difference between a regular food processor and a Cuisinart would be so dramatic, but it is.The 7 cup capacity is easily sufficient for a couple adults (I imagine you could throw in a few kids for good measure), and the included blades tend to most uses.It can allegedly do a good job mixing cakes and kneading dough, and based on its overall performance, I believe it, but I'd rather use my Kitchenaid mixer for that.

5-0 out of 5 stars ...replaced the mixer, blender, grater, and other food processor I owned...
I love this product.Since I got this product I would have to say I have used it more than I have ever used any small appliance. It is a mixer, grater, grinder, blender, and food processor in one.I absolutely love it.

5-0 out of 5 stars I Wouldn't Be Without It
This knife is a "must have" item in my pocket ever day.I use mine every day, and I do mean every day.Because of it's size some will think it is a joke, but that is only until they have had one for a while. The knife blade is very sharp out of the box.The toothpick and tweezers are very handy to have, and the screwdriver is beyond handy.Because of the size of the scredriver tip, it can almost always be used in common phillips tip screws as well as standard slot screws. It is true that this knife is way too easy to lose.I have owned probably upwards of 10 of them.I have also given out 10 or more as presents they are always appreciated.Get one, and keep it with you at all times. You will only be dissappointed if you forget to put it in checked luggage when you go to the airport as did I.The Will Rogers World Airport Security lady liked getting the gift.It was that or give it to TSA and I wasn't going to do that.A great product!

5-0 out of 5 stars Can't miss with Swiss
Like most people who have owned Swiss Army knives, I was upset when mine went missing. I decided this time to make sure I would never be without again. I ordered 3 this time and am pleased with the with both the ease of ordering and the quick delivery. I would definitely order again from Amazon.

5-0 out of 5 stars Only one problem with this product
I have used this specific type of knife for years. It has more features at less weight and bulk than any other. Love its small size. BUT I keep losing the blanky blank thing. The Swiss have conveniently offered a loop on every one I've purchased.

1-0 out of 5 stars Liked the product...HATED the reliability!!!!!
I'm currently in the market for a toaster oven to replace this one.We went through three in less than 2 years. The first one broke within a couple of weeks and we took in back to the store. The second one broke within six months and we sent it back to the manufacturer (think it cost us $10 to fix). Now the third one broke and we are looking for another manufacturer.

5-0 out of 5 stars What did I do without a toaster oven?
Since I got this wonderful toaster oven a year ago, my big gas oven has gotten very lonely. This little gem cooks and bakes well, makes great toast, reheats great, all without heating up the kitchen. Getting a toaster oven-sized Silpat baking sheet made it even better. Get this! You'll be asking yourself like I have "What did I do without a toaster oven?"

4-0 out of 5 stars Great oven just ok toaster
Great basic oven for heating and cooking. The convection feature really is a nice addition especially if you have a large regular oven and do not want to turn it on for smaller bakes. The toaster function requires almost always using the highest setting when doing any whole grain products-often you have to add additional time not nearly as good as a basic toaster oven. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Laser display not adequate
The whole reason I bought this was to be able to project the time on a wall or ceiling. With that being said, the laser is completely inadequate and barely visible for me during most of the hours of the day or night.I suppose it will be fine for anyone who can really make their room very dark at night.
3-0 out of 5 stars Cheap ....
It is working but Cheap feeling/design/function.
5-0 out of 5 stars good deal
Easy to set up, no problems so far.Better than other projection alarm clocks in that it can swivel and the display's orientation can be changed as well. The only bad quality I can find is that it is somewhat flimsy but it seems well built otherwise. Not bad for $20.The outdoor temperature sensor works fine. ... Editorial Review

Face it, sometimes the best thing about going out to a movie is the popcorn, those big plump kernels that always seem so much better than what you pop at home. But this simple stovetop popper changes all that. It really does make awesome, fresh-popped corn that might make you start renting videos instead. The sturdy aluminum pan has a clip-on lid with a stay-cool wooden handle. A turn crank on the handle spins the key element: the stainless steel stirring system that keeps the corn moving across the bottom of the pan, for even heat and oil distribution, ensuring the best popping results. The lid has steam vents, to help keep the popcorn dry and crisp. The enclosed booklet is a wonderful resource, with not only clear and detailed instructions, but also dozens of recipes and popcorn history and lore. These are folks who really do know their popcorn, and the results are outstanding. Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Far and away the best and easiest popcorn!
For years, I used an air popper -- but would have never bought it had I known about the wonderful Whirley Pop. It is light and easy to lift, and pops the world's best popcorn, WITHOUT ANY UNPOPPED KERNELS!Although best with coconut or peanut oil, plain old canola oil does just fine. Also, if I add salted butter to the pan with the oil and popcorn, I don't even need any salt -- and need A LOT less butter than I did with the air popper. Also, with the air popper I always had many unpopped kernels, and, no matter how careful I was, had popcorn all over the kitchen. No such problems with this ... It is WONDERFUL in all respects.HIGHEST POSSIBLE RECOMMENDATION.

4-0 out of 5 stars This makes great popcorn
I purchased the Whirley-Pop a few weeks ago and it makes very good popcorn, but you have to be careful not to keep the heat on high during the entire popping time.I put the heat on high to start the popping and then turn it down to medium. If you leave it on high the popcorn burns and sticks to the bottom of the popper. I think it would be very good if the popper was made in a heavy stainless steel, it wouldn't be so apt to burn. However, this being said, it makes great popcorn and the wire stirrer keeps the popcorn moving. Every bit of popcorn popped.

5-0 out of 5 stars Really glad I bought this
I don't like popcorn, but my family does, and I started to dread the smell of burnt kernels stinking up the microwave from popcorn popped in those paper bags.Nor did I want to sacrifice my All-Clad saucepan to pop plain popcorn on the stovetop.I bought the Whirley Pop on a whim. It looked quaint, like something in an old Sears catalog. Turns out, it makes superior popcorn--fluffier than the other methods produce, faster, and with few, if any, stray kernels. Not that I eat any, well, just a few to sample. With a little butter, thank you. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars This is my second set of Pyrex Custard Cups ...
... and I don't even make Custard! *LOL*I just love these for small servings of ice cream, fruit, side dishes, etc. They are great with meals for anything that you don't want to mix with the other foods on your plate. They are perfect for snacks and desserts. They are great for things such as pickles, olives, chopped onions, relish, dips, etc. on a casual buffet or picnic table. They also work well for pre-portioning ingredients when making a complicated recipe or allowing younger kids to cook with you.The typical Pyrex glass which is thick and a bit heavy is perfect for my family because it holds up to less than gentle everyday use.I still want my children to learn to be careful with china and glassware, but I see no reason to be too 'precious' about everday dishware.

5-0 out of 5 stars Prepped and ready to go!
Mise en place is the French term for having all your ingredients prepped and ready to go before starting you start cooking. This technique is so important for proper cooking and these dishes really help you break that old habit of cooking and prepping at the same time.I use them to pre-measure all my spices, juices, liquids, etc. so that I don't have to be rushing around the kitchen as things are burning wishing that I had everything ready.
4-0 out of 5 stars good small sizes
I have these but my only drawback is that they don't come with covers. I've made puddings, desserts or whatever and then you have to use saran to cover them and it's not easy trying to put a small piece of saran wrap on it without covering the whole dish, as they are small dishes. Not a total bad thing but covers would make these a 5 stars for me.They are perfect for small leftovers, using for prep food meals, or for little kids to put snacks in. They are not heavy as I agree with the previous reviewer. They are good quality but again....needs covers. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent bread machine
I own the zojirushi bread machine for about a year. I bake 1-2 per week. The machine makes excellent bread & dough. I haven't bought a loaf of bread since I bought this machine. When I want a more crusty bread, make pizza, or make a foccacia I use the dough cycle with amazing results. Highly reccomend this product.
5-0 out of 5 stars use it every day
I bought my bread machine a few weeks ago and I use it every day. The white and rye bread recipes turn out perfectly every time.I've also made an apple cake and two meatloafs.I tried one wheat bread loaf ... it was very tasty, but not quite the consistency that I like ... so I need to play around with that one alittle bit. I've never been a cook and definitely have never baked a loaf of bread before ... but now that my kids are grown up, I now have some time to work in the kitchen.I highly recommend this machine.

2-0 out of 5 stars Teflon Bonding Failure
Within a few weeks of purchase the teflon in the Zojirushi pan started to blister and flake off. This is NOT the result of customer abuse but a manufacturing defect.

5-0 out of 5 stars A most colonial experience indeed!
Let me say that this Oneida flatware was an integral factor in one of the best dinner parties I have ever been a part of.I like having dinner parties, but even more than that I like have THEMED dinner parties. How was this party?Well, let's just say that if Paul Revere had been at this party on the night of his fateful ride, I'm going to bet we would still be an English commonwealth today! No one was able to leave this party, I kid you not.The period flatware aside, everyone wore tri-corner hats- even the ladies- and there were enough knickers there to feed an elephant. After dessert we had a blast throwing bags of Tetley Tea into my bathtub.Priceless! We had a mock witch trial that was so funny....you should have seen Barbara hemming and hawing, trying to convince us that she was NOT a witch.(That must have been so hard back then!)The best part of the night was when some guys broke into the house dressed as British soldiers, and declared that under the law of the king we had to "give them food, shelter, and a night with our women."Well you should have seen Barbara hemming and hawing over this one!She is a hoot!
5-0 out of 5 stars Inexpensive Flatware with an Expensive FLARE!
I love this flatware - It looks like super expensive silverware and is weighted perfectly. ... Read more

Calphalon Commercial pans are made for the serious cook who's looking for kitchenware built to last a lifetime. For example, this straight-sided, 12-inch diameter, 5-quart sauté pan, with its heavy-gauge aluminum bottom and sides, heats evenly and won't warp under higher heat needed for pan-frying. Use a light hand on the heat dial though to protect the nonstick surface from overheating. Also, use plastic, coated, or wood utensils to protect the finish. The curved cast stainless-steel handle is easy to grip and st
