Try this before ordering a new battery
Your Roomba may be experiencing an issue where the battery is deeply discharged and may need to charge longer than the standard 2.5 hours. (or 6 hours if you have a standard charger)
Amazon, IRobot and Target in cahoots
I ordered this today and expected it to be delivered by September 14-18. I read further that Target would not have this until December 31. I had previously ordered this from the IRobot people and they said it was back ordered with no date of delivery suggested. They were however offering a terrific discount on a trade in for a new machine with all the bells and whistles, which would be a lot more expensive than the 50 bucks for a new battery. This is deceptive business practices at it worst and I plan on repporting Amazon, Target and IRobot to the BBB. I have canceled my order. The whole thing is very disturbing. BTW, the vacumm was purchased in December as a gift to my wife. The battery has died and it appears no new one is available anywhere.

It's a battery, what else would you expect?
After 3 years, and oddly enough three different replacement robots, the battery finally lost its ability to charge.Being a product that has one model made by one manufacturer, I was very surprised to find the battery at a significantly lower price at Amazon. The product works as one would expect, it charged right up and it runs my Roomba, as long as it doesn't blow up like a laptop battery, I will continue to enjoy a product that makes my life a little easier. Amazing heat output
Recently bought because our furnace went out.This is able to keep our house super warm, maybe even too warm.
Disappointing
This radiator was a big disappointment. Even if my heater is on lowest setting both of the red lights come on, indicating that it is on the highest setting. Analog thermostat has no indication of what temperature I have set it on. 96 settings are tiny 96 pins that are needed to moved to set on and off periods (you can move many at a time though). However, cannot set different on and off periods for weekend. Even when it is off, it makes a little periodic noise --- like a clock which is disconcerting at the least.

The best electric space heater I have ever used !
I have tried the quartz and ceramic heaters which often require a small fan to circulate air past the elements to heat the air. I have also been in homes that use natural gas for gravity heat, central air, built in electric ceiling heat, and a natural gas wall heater.Most of the gas or electric element heaters that I mentioned tend to dry out and remove some of the oxygen from the air which can cause that uncomfortable "soar throat and headache" feeling.These DeLonghi oil-filled radiators don't seem to negatively effect the air since they use clean electricity and simply heat up the air through efficient convection and radiation.This model TRD0715T has side metal tubing that creates more of a vacuum effect which seems to make the hot air blow out of the top of the unit without the use of a fan. DeLonghi rightfully nicknames this as a "Dragon model" since has the effect of a forced air heater without the noise or extra electricity requirements.On low 700W, medium 900W, or high 1500W settings you can feel the hot air at least two feet above the top of the heater. A simple analog thermostat dial enables you to choose your desired temperature level for the unit to operate at. Other nice features include a 96 position, 24 hour timer that allows you to customize when the heater turns on or off throughout the day.There are also some nice safety features such as an automatic shut-off if the unit is tipped over or if the temperature of the unit gets too high. Although the sides and top of the device get hot it does not burn you if you happen to accidently touch it. These devices are very efficient compared to the other electric heaters and many people use them as very efficient room space heaters and they are able to turn down their central air systems to save on gas or electricity.

What's the weather?
We have one of these in our entrance; the outdoor probe is by the front door, an indoor probe in the room and we look at it all the time. I always check the indoor temp to see how the AC needs to be adjusted (we like no more than 10 degrees below outdoor temp) and I look to see what it's doing outdoors. It's right by our stairs and I can't even imagine not having it. I use it all the time.

I purchased two WS-9013U wireless stations. I put one remote sensor outside and have the two inside stations in different rooms displaying the information from the one remote sensor. So I have have a spare sensor if anything ever happens to the first one. Everything works great and the display is very readable, up close or from a distance.

Perfect every time!
This is my first panini grill and I love it! Just 4 minutes on medium and I get a perfect evenly grilled panini every time. I think because it automatically adjusts to any thinkness when you put the top of the grill down. Heats up in just a few minutes and clean-up is easy; cheese just wipes off the grill. In a crunch for time, I often buy ungrilled panini sandwiches at the deli and pop them in. I usually cook two at a time but there is room for more.

Silicon the Rim is porous and is leaking
I just sad that a company of that stature, cannot "glue" together the carafe with the rim. It was leaking, had to disassembe it and spent $10 on silikon. No wonder we cannot compete with the Germans, Chinese, or even wood carvers...

Great Canister!!!!!
I had an old Hoover canister vac and was ready for a new one.I looked at all the Kenmores but none of them seemed right (I have a small Cleaning Business) so I ended up ordered the this Hoover Windtunnel and love it!!!I didn't want the powered floor cleaner because I don't use that but it does work great!I also love the handheld powered cleaner, works great on furniture getting the cat and dog hair off!I highly recommened this canister for anyone looking for a good one.Plus Hoovers are easy to take apart and I can fix just about anything on it!

Good deal, Great price
I hadn't owned a dutch oven before, so wasn't sure what to expect. This is a quality item:heavy(!), sturdy, durable. There's no preparation time; the oven comes pre-seasoned so you can cook with it as soon as you take it out of the packaging. It's easy to clean (no soap, though, just hot water). The price from Amazon (expecially with the free shipping and handling) is a real bargain.

Percolated coffee is an acquired taste, but for those who like it strong and black, this stovetop coffee pot is the way to go. Never received item
The item was accidentally sent to an old address, determined to be undeliverableable, and then returned to Amazon...this was a month ago, and I still haven't received a credit back, so I have not yet actually repurchased the items.

Pretty good product
The carbon filters do a pretty good job of filtering dust, etc. before it enters the unit's main filter.They are pretty gross when changing though. ;)The only real drawback is that little black fibers from the pre-filter get on the unit (and elsewhere) easily when you are replacing them.

Hamilton Beach 04161 Is the Best
I have asthma and the Hamilton Beach 04162 has both my votes. I did a lot of research and intially bought the Blue Air (which I returned the next day). The reviews indicated it was the quitest air purifier. It isn't and it cost 2 and 1/2 times the price of the Hamilton Beach. Although it supposedly has the lowest decibel level (which I do not believe), the BlueAir has an extremely irritating high whine that oscillates irregularly, not to mention an annoying bright blue light. This might be good for torturing someone, but the BlueAir is NOT quiet. The only reason I didn't buy the Hamilton Beach to begin with was because a reviewer said he could not sleep to it. ... The Hamilton Beach on low setting has a white noise effect and I actually prefer to have it on when I sleep. It's sound is soporific. The light from the Infrared can be turned off, but it is not annoying like the light from the BlueAir, so I leave it on. The infrared has elimated the mold problem we were having in our bathroom. It is very attractive, well designed, well built, doesn't way a ton, monitors the air, does not incorporated ozone (thank God), and has enabled me to sleep much better. The air is noticibly cleaner and fresher now. The bottom line is I use to get up frequently at night wiith my asthma and now I don't! ... Read more

Good while it lasted
Suited my needs for reasonable coffee and milk steamer for about 8 months. Cheapie knob for switching from coffee to steamer is a bugger. Steam is now leaking inside somewhere in steamer mode causing serious heating of the top of the unit, nasty noises, and fear of explosion. I descale it every month so I don't think I mistreated it. Did get daily use and was only $[...] but I think it should still last more than 8 months.

I had a very expensive espresso maker that sprung a leak in less than a year, so I went the cheap route.
Buy this if you want to burn your coffee (or cash)
This espresso machine burns coffee grind because it takes too long for pressurized water to flow through the grind. I am not sure if my particular machine is defective but it takes about 2-3 minutes for 50ml of water to flow through. The result - just one pure shot of burnt espresso! This is not even the case of what you get is what you paid for. I don't think anyone would pay $[...] something bucks for making burnt espresso. Don't waste your cash. Try something a little bit more expensive, and hopefully it will be better than this one. To be fair, the frother did seem to work fine.

Japanese Products are Great !
This is my second bread maker. I bought Cuisinart's one last year and had used it for about a year. I had no idea how different each bread maker was at that point.
easy as pie
I have made now a dozen loafs of bread with this machine.Every one comes out the same: delicious and perfectly brown.The recipes are good, I use the simple white bread recipe as my standard one.Works well.

THE BEST BREADMAKER BY FAR!
This is the third breadmaker I have owned. I have to say I did not have very good luck with the other brands I have owned in the past but after reading the reviews on Amazon, decided on the Panasonic as a replacement. I could not be more pleased with my purchase!I have used it 3x a week for a month now.The bread has turned out perfect every time!I use 1/2 wheat flour with the white.It is like eating cake!It really is that good!One thing I love about this bread maker is that it is so quiet.Also, from other reviews, I thought I was going to have to get a scale and measure all the ingredients but I just use my regular measuring cups and spoons and every loaf has been perfect. I even used Smart Balance margarine today instead of butter and you could not tell the difference!The bread is soft and delicious! Good purchase.Excellent quality and construction.The first thing I noticed was how thick the aluminum was.Hard-anodized aluminum with very even heating.Handles stay cool and so far durable non stick with no scratching.

It Just Works

Cast Iron Rocks!
At some point in the post WWII American consumerist age, we decided to replace all the good stuff that worked with newly invented junk that did not work in the name of progress. Think of margerine instead of butter..for some reason we took natural butter off of our tables and replaced it with artery clogging scientfically invented margerine. Americans such as my grandparents ate butter every day of their lives and lived into their 90's.

One of the most important things to consider when buying anything cast iron is its weight, and therefore, balance. Never use your wrist alone to pick up a heavy skillet, use part of your arm as well. Because for its inherent weight, it is very important for cast iron cookware to be properly balanced. You should be able to put part of the skillets handle just past your wrist so that your arm is providing partial support.The pan should feel balanced this way.

WOW!!!
These are the very best baking pans I've EVER owned...and I've own alot. They are thick and heavy duty. Cooked food just falls out of them. I've never seen better non-stick cookware. If you're looking for a great pan set buy these. They're worth twice the money.

It blows.:)But it's great!
It's a good fan, and does exactly what I expected it to.It moves a pretty good amount of air at a moderate amount of noise.On the "Super" setting, there's no way I would call this fan quiet, but the low setting is reasonably quiet.I also like the fan's adjustable "directional" grill.It allows me to position the air where I want it.It's not what I'd call "chic" or leading-edge in terms of style, but it's not ugly either.It has a pleasing ... functional look.For the price, it's a great deal.It's worth 5 stars from a value perspective.I did have one quality problem.I bought two of these, and on one of the units, one of the fans ran at a noticably slower speed than the other (and consequently moved less air).Amazon did me right with the return, but I dropped one star for the quality problem.In the future, I'd certainly buy another.

Great window fan!
I recently bought another one to replace the same model (over 10 years). It's quiet, and you can use either exhaust or fresh air (or one of each) with two separate controls. It's convenient, put it into the window in the morning and take it down at night. You can control when it comes on (of course you'd need to put ON) - when the temps go higher, it's turned on automatically; when the temps go down, it shuts off. You can adjust the fan vents to go in any direction. A great buy, and Amazon sells it for a little cheaper than most places.

Great fan
I originally owned the Holmes version of the window fan.This one dominates the other version.The temperature/comfort setting actually works.It actually turns itself on when the temperature drops.It's not *that* sensitive but at least it's not just another on/off switch like other models.
