Equipped with system for monitoring work speed and a heater forboosting performance, this upright machine deep-cleans carpets and rugsby forcing a warm solution of water and cleansing concentrate intofibers and vacuuming up the dirty solution. The 1440-watt machine alsoscrubs bare floors (but not hardwood floors) and cleans stairs,upholstery, auto interiors, and even mattresses with onboard tools thatspray dirty surfaces and crevices with the cleaning solution. A poweredhand-tool that either brushes or vacuums at the flick of a switchaccompanies the machine and attaches to a flexible accessories hose.The heater's advantage over ordinary machines is that it increases thecleaning solution's temperature (up to but not exceeding 180 degrees F)and prevents the solution from cooling. The electronic monitor displayslights showing whether the machine is going back and forth too fast foroptimum performance. This model also has an applicator for spraying 3MScotchgard dirt-and-stain protector (8 ounces included) onto a carpet.Here's how the machine works: A plastic bottle for filling withBissell's Fiber Cleansing Formula (16 ounces included) fits into thebase. A removable 1-gallon tank contains a bladder to hold clean waterfor mixing with the cleansing concentrate. (Dirty water vacuumed by themachine collects around the bladder.) A common problem
This machine has a common problem of tube kinking behind the heater indicator light causing no spray. Just open the handle case and re-position the tubing. Otherwise it's a great machine.

Out with Hoover
I owned a Hoover steam cleaner and thought it work pretty good it got my 7 year old carpets (with 3 children spilling kool-aid on it) some what clean. But I had owned it for 5 yrs and thought it was time for a new one. Well I couldn't find a Hoover cleaner they were sold out (which I thought proves there better) but it was Christmas time and I had to get my carpets clean, so I bought the Bissell proheat in stock instead.

I won't ever buy a Hoover again. I went over my family room carpet (where I had just clean with my oldHoover) with the Bissell it came out 3 times cleaner, my husband came home from work and thought I had new carpet put in!!!

The feature I like Most about the Bissell you can control how much solution mixes in the water while your cleaning with a flip of a switch. When I'm doing a high traffic area I switch it to Full solution then when I'm going over light traffic area I flip it to low solution or water only (without having to turn the machine off or changing any solution tank), with this feature you use way LESS solution and save Money!!!

Also I LOVE the attach handle tool, it's small enough to fit under my car seat, I am able to use my Bissell to clean my carpets & seats in my Truck & Van, how many other steam cleaner can fit in a car!!! And the handle tool works Great for pretreating tuff spot before going over them with the big cleaner. I am so impressed with my bissell proheat steam cleaner that I'm so thankful they were sold out of Hoovers.

ProHeat - From Borrower to Purchaser
I borrowed my friend's Bissell steam cleaner last year and was very impressed with the results. So impressed in fact, that I broke down last weekend and bought my own. This model is very easy to use and effectively cleans out deep stains in the carpet. The turbo brush with long hose makes it very easy to clean stairs. don't bother
really - don't bother.You will be much better served with a steel wire brush from the hardware store that is made for tough jobs.I tried this grill bush and another grill brush before I saw a friend using the steel brush - it does a much better job and does not wear out.

excellent grill brush, not for pans
I originally bought this brush for my cast iron grill pan.It's an amazing scrubber, but the bristles aren't close enough to the edges to get into corners.I've since moved it out to the grill, and couldn't be happier with it!It cleans the grill quickly with almost zero effort.Still searching for a good pan brush...

This little scraper is perfect for all grills, the brass brissles are stronger and better than those greeny-meanies, but soft enough for porceline coated grills unlike the steel bristle ones which will scratch.Great tool, but a little short for those on-the-fly !HOT! scrapes. ... Read more

Mine were defective
I was disappointed with the quality of these cables.Mine were defective.When plugged in the red was WAY over-represented.The quality of the color was significantly worse than even a standard video cable.I would not recommend this product.
