Great concept - but low quality - will jam permanently
I wish another company would make the same product with better quality. Although the concept is spot on, there's a problem with the rubber o-ring inside the pump - it will slide out of place and jam up the pump so that it becomes unusable. My first one lasted about 9 months before that happened, so I was willing to try again. The second one, however, lasted less than a month before the o-ring slipped and the pump jammed. There is no way to open it up to fix it. So until they fix this problem, this product is hit or miss. Caveat emptor!

It works!
We use our vacu vin wine saver all of the time since purchasing it about six months ago.It enables us to put partially full bottles back into our wine cooler, which we were unable to do before. We had tried unsuccessfully to do this with other wine corks.

Extend that bottle's life!
I recently bought this, and am happy with it. It "clicks" after 4 or 5 quick pumps for a 3/4 full bottle, and 7-8 clicks for a 1/4 filled bottle, to indicate vacuuum has been established, and the vacuum holds well, as does the wine!

Theprevious model did not click, however it certainly attained vacuum after about the same number of pumps..hearing the clicks is more reassuring!

As I recently bought it, I can't assess its long term durability as others have.

It does extend the wine's good taste for at least a few days in addition to the usual 2-3 days before the wine tastes "funny".

I've no reason to try it for more than a week of"corking up" a previously opened tasty bottle, so for these reasons i've got my money's worth, and it gets 5 stars. ... Read more

becomes indispensable after use
A kind friend gave us these...for some very special occassion, I do not recall.I was less than enthusiastic about them when I received them.However, we find ourselves using them every time we open a bottle of white wine.It's very convenient for getting your wine chilled quickly or keeping it chilled after opening, we use it mostly for keeping an open bottle cool.Having two in the freezer at all time is very convenient for comparing two different bottles of wine.Very light weight and compact to keep in the freezer.I also use them as ice packs for my kids when they have a boo boo.They can be cleaned with a clorox wipe.I highly recommend them.

Works great with white wine
This works great for white wine. Red wine should definitely not be chilled. Guy's are is certainly chilling. Speaking of art have you seen Guy's web site at www.guybuffet.com ? Anyhow, back to chilling some vodka...

Really works!I love it!

Cute and useful
These charms are quite useful at dinner parties to differentiate different guests' drinks.The quality of construction is actually pretty solid and detailed.However, the bag that came with the charms were a bit of a disappointment- rather flimsy.I got these during one of the Friday Sales, and it was worth the [money] price paid for these.While these are well made and useful, they are not worth the full regular price.

Think Monopoly pieces.This is a little bit what they look like.These charms are fun, but are expensive...Wait to get them on sale!They come in a box that would make a nice housewarming gift for a friend.

Essential for Wine Lovers
I gave this as a wedding gift over a year ago and my friends still rave about it. Well worth the purchase.
I purchased this in hopes that I wouldn't have to continually wipe the wine drop sliding down the bottle and prevent wine stains on my white counter top...it works great!For the price, you can't beat this gadget.There are alternatives however.I have seen the round discs that you can curl and insert halfway into the top of the bottle, which creates a thinner edge, preventing the "run down" effect.

These are WONDERFUL
These look very stylish but more importantly, they hang onto the edge of the glass very well (making it easy for guests to retrieve their olives or onions or whatever, without getting their fingers all wet).Also, they are long enough to hold 2 or 3 olives if you want.Very attractive on the glass!

Functional and stylish too
I have contemporary tastes and was looking for something stylish. I bought the set Amco has that is called "Galaxy" -- comes with one pick with the design above and also comes with a lightning bolt, flat spiral and flat open star. All look great in the glass and hold the fruit well. The stainless steel will last a long time. A Beautiful, Classy Gift
This gift set looks like a million bucks. I was very impressed with it when it arrived, so I showed it to some of my co-workers. They said it looked like it was easily worth more than double what I paid for it. The items are packaged beautifully in a large basket with purple shred and a nice purple/gold fabric ribbon. The wine charms are cute - they are wined themed, and come in their own triangular box. The ceramic wine coaster is adorable and the little cloth napkins come in a nice box, too.
