Must-have for slow-cookin'...
I was born in KC and need to have my ribs done right (ie, not boiled in water first, but rather cooked entirely on the grill).If you do ribs, or anything that requires more than 45 minutes of heat, then grab this must-have accessory.For me, it's second only to my tongs as a grill add-on.Oh, and pickup the Weber BBQ book for great ideas and recipes (the KC-style ribs are spot-on).Enjoy!

you don't need this for grilling
If you're are cooking mainly burgers, steaks, and chicken you will not need this.However, for low and slow briskets and pork butts it is a must.Just put the meat on one side and leave the access hatch open on the other side. You will be able to quickly add fuel without losing a lot of heat. You can bbq a mean brisket in a weber if that is what you have to work with. This grate makes life so much easier for those long cook times.

Arrived in an open box
When I received this item, it arrived in an already opened package. I expect more from Amazon.

Great filter
What can you really say about a filter?It filters the water great and the water tastes clean.The only thing that freaks me out a little is the little black specks (charcoal I think) that floats around (in the top portion of the pitcher, not the water you pour out after it has been filtered).

A one-horse race
I was hoping that Amazon.com would also offer the Pur water filters for pitchers, as well as other Pur products, in addition to Brita. mislabeled
this is nowhere near 14 inchs, it's around 8 and fits on the bottom of the grill where you put the charcoal. I'm keeping it, it was cheap and i'm going to use it as a rack.

Precisely As Advertised
I've got a Smokey Joe. One day, I managed to trash the grate. It is a long story, but suffice to say, I do not recommend dropping a grate on the ground repeatedly as a cleaning method. Eventually the grate breaks. That was my fault, not Weber's.

So, I needed a new grate. I bought this one. As far as I could tell, it is a relacememt, through and through. It fit, it held up under the heat. It grilled. Not too complicated.

You've got the obvious choice: do you buy a new grill, or just the replacement? I can't guide you there. That depends on the age of your grill. However, if you've a sturdy grill, and in a misguided cleaning effort you did a bit of damage, go for the replacement.

I fully recommend Weber's Replacement Charcoal Grates.

I looked at 3 different home improvement warehouses, a couple of large brick and mortar retailers and one specialty grill company before I found this replacement part on AMAZON.com. The grill I have is just a year old but somewhere, we seemed to have misplaced the original charcoal grate.Granted, the whole grill is only [money], but why spend [money] on a new one when this replacement grate is only [money]?Check out Amazon first and you might just save yourself from running all over the city looking for the replacement part that you'll never find. ... Avoid this ripoff - Buy an LED flashlight instead
Many of you must have noticed that various manufacturers of power tools are "giving away" flashlights with cordless drills, etc.Well, this is how they make money, by charging $5 for ONE flashlight bulb!What a ripoff.In my experience, these light bulbs are cheaply manufactured and blows out in matter of weeks, not years.

I recommend that you search for "4-LED Flashlight" on Amazon.com and, for a bit more money, buy one of these LED models for which you NEVER have to replace the bulbs.

What can you say bulbs burn out. These can be hard to find so if you are buying a light you might as well pick up a couple because there is nothing worse than grabbing your light and finding out the bulb is burned out and you don't have a spare when you really need it! ... Read more

Not for use with the Casio E-125
I recently purchased this AC adaptor for use with my Casio E-125.That was a mistake -- the charger is not compatible with E-125.

The Casio E-125 uses a light gray, model AD-C59200U charger that outputs 5.9 volts. The AD-C50200U charger produces only 5 volts, and is not recommended for use with the E-125.(Though it may be compatible with the E-115...)

So don't be silly goose like me and get this device for you E-125.Get the AD-C59200U AC adapter for your unit instead.

A new angle on power supplies
I use this AC Adapter with my Casio E-115. The adapter has a horizontal orientation, a first in my collection of AC adapters. The adapter doesn't hog an entire wall plate - the wire to the PDA runs out of the side of theadapter, not the bottom. The adapter's shape doesn't encroach on the othersocket in a standard US wallplate.

No lazy engineering here - Casiorealized that people might actually have something else to plug in.

Thisadapter rocks - it doesn't get hot, and it is lightweight. The only thingmissing is the great scent of pine!

You know that you hate climbing underyour desk when you want to take your power supply home...and then having tocrawl back under when you bring it back to the office.
