These glasses are beautifully weighted, dishwasher-safe, and sturdy without feeling clunky. The double old-fashioned glass is 4-1/2 inches tall and holds 14-1/2 ounces; the cooler glass is 6 inches tall and holds 17 ounces. There are eight of each per set. Are these glasses cobalt blue? Midnight blue? Ink blue? Whatever association the color conjures, it is the deepest, most sumptuous blue around. great to drink from
these are great glasses, not as boring as clear glass, drinking a cafe Alaska (espresso and Breyer's Coffee ice cream) in the shorter one now.I wanted to give a review after reading the review about the person with the breakage problem.These are made of glass so of course they will break.And what about the person that wrote of stacking them?I learned as a boy that putting a glass inside another glass might cause it to get stuck.

They are attractive and more durable than most
glasses I've had in the past.They are thicker too
so they keep your liquids colder or hotter longer.

The price is fabulous for the quality of this drinkware.
They are a little too wide for certain areas

I am so glad that we purchased these glasses! Even drinking ice water on a hot day feels like a celebration with these classy glasses. They are more durable than regular clear glass (tipped one over on my counter and it didn't break!) and as previously indicated, easily stackable. Now with free shipping, they are even better!

fantastic
Fiestaware items are objects of beauty that I have found to be virtually indestructible.I have them at my house, and I worked for an upscale wine bar and restaurant that used them for everything...any pretty plate that survives heavy restaurant use is great in my book!And what fantastic colors for food presentation...

GREAT INFORMAL SET
We bought these because they were on sale, and it's hard to find black.At the start, they were suppossed to be temporary.
Then we bought extra plates, because we'd fallen in love with them.Not only are they classy and match the decor, but these are tough.I'm a klutz, and these bowls bounce right off of the floor, nothing broken yet, and coming up to a year.
My only complaint is the small size of the cups, and I about never use the saucers, but that's a matter of taste, and there are other sets available.

Just received my Cobalt Tones chop plate.It's beautiful.I plan to use it as a serving platter more than a plate.I saw this listed on Amazon last fall and put off ordering it.When I decided it was a "must have", it was out of stock.I tried other sites and couldn't find Cobalt tones anywhere.I contacted the company to find a retailer and was told that it was exclusive to Amazon!However, I have seen this pattern or something very close at Tamarak outside Beckley, WV.(It is a West Virginia sponsored open mall featuring crafts and products made in WV, which Fiesta is.)I was thrilled when it was back in stock.It will give my Fiesta table an even more creative look.

They did it again
Once again Amazon has cancelled an order after waiting two months saying they won't be getting the item in.But here they are still offering it for sale.
My advice is if you want Fiestaware seek it elsewhere.

You just can't go wrong with Fiestaware.It's sturdy, durable, attractive, cleans up easily (from table to dishwasher to cabinet).And if my rough-on-dishes family can't break it, no one can!

No rust problem here!
I have owned two sets of this flatware (navy and green) for more than two years and I'm totally satisfied. We have subjected them to daily use and wash them by hand (no dishwasher, alas, in my kitchen). They have held up very well, no rust anywhere that I can see. The handles show a bit of wear but they're plastic, after all, and that should be expected. I'm buying another set now to replace the ones we've inadvertently tossed in the trash.

The only caveat I would add is that some individual pieces are on the small side. The regular fork, knife and large spoon are fine. But the teaspoon and salad fork are somewhat smaller than you would expect. Great for households with young children, I guess! For the price, these can't be beat.

I ordered this flatware set for my new apartment and couldn't be happier. The flatware is extremely solid and durable, does not bend or anything like that, and overall feels like quality.

I highly recommend this set to anyone, and the price is right.

No warranty on Oneida Color Trends
When I saw this set I thought it would be an excellent casual set.I doubt I will ever purchase a flatware set with handles again.

Pros:

-The handles add a cute, casual and colorful look to your table.
-The set is inexpensive.
-Has the Oneida name.

Cons:

-I experienced rusting with a few random pieces in the set after just one handwashing!
-Handles take up extra room in your dishwasher's caddy or your dish drainer.
-I find the handles to be somewhat clumsy.

On a plus side, I wrote to Oneida about the rusting problem.I was informed that while the Color Trends line does not have a warranty, Oneida Silversmiths stands behind their products and would gladly replace the damaged pieces.

Honestly, unless you are truely in love with the design or the colors or the prices, I would rather invest in an all stainless set.

I don't find the knives to be dull, I notice some reviewers have mentioned that they felt the knives were dull.I am not going to dipute that because I suppose it is a matter of opinion.I thought they were fine.

Henckels *UPRIGHT* Wooden Caddy - Not Just for Flatware
I purchased this item "sight unseen" (no picture, no dimensions) strictly for price: I thought I was buying a "caddy" for the silverware drawer to finally replace a hideous plastic thing that needs to find the dumpster. It's the little things, I've discovered, that can change the whole kitchen and cooking experience, especially when space is limited. Well! This just arrived over the weekend and, although it's not quite what the Chef De Cuisine ordered -- nothing at all like I imagined -- I took my chances, am delightfully surprised, and more than satisfied.

This is a tall, upright, four-section "basket" type caddy with a carrying handle. Overall dimensions are 5 1/2" across x 5 1/2" deep x 10" high. Basket/lower half is 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 5" high enclosing four interior divisions each measuring 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" x 5" high. Items must be placed handle-down/function-up to get the most use of the sections provided.

Attractive light honey oak woodgrain with a clear finish, it has simple lines. The front and back basket portions are a closed (no open spaces) horizontal three-plank-board design bearing the single J.A. Henckels International logo (not the double logo) centered on the bottom plank. The two sides are one piece "paddle" shaped tapering up to and rounding off with a 1/2" dowl rod carrying handle. The item appears well constructed and sturdy, there are no rough edges or splinters.

Although we have avoided countertop knife blocks because space is minimal (the Henckels Deluxe 13-Slot In-Drawer Knife Tray solved that problem :), I'm so delighted with this caddy that taking up a 5-inch space was worth it: I freed up an entire drawer of "miscellaneous." It's perfect for organizing and storing short utensils easily lost or a pain in the neck to keep handy for easy reach (basting brushes, bread thermometer, olive ladle, mini spatulas, peeler, zester, corer, whisks, etc.).To give an idea of capacity, I have 25 items in it and there's still room for a few more. Things look organized not messy, it means no one has to scrounge and search, and it provides an "everything in its place" function.

This caddy is a wonderful bargain solution that goes well with other butcher block items, cupboards or wood trim, and would complement any consistent color scheme.Whether for flatware or cooking utensils, overall a handy, didn't-know-I-needed-it quality item at a reasonable price whose versatility and good looks make it a no-regrets purchase. ...
