    Editorial Review

The bestseller among All-Clad's renowned cookware collections, the Stainless line provides serious and professional cooks all thevirtues that make All-Clad's worldwide reputation unsurpassed. Key toits high performance is a three-ply, bonded construction. Sandwichedbetween layers of stainless steel is a thick core of pure aluminum thatspreads heat evenly across the bottoms of pots and pans and all the wayup the sides. The interior is highly polished 18/10 stainless steel, soit's stick-resistant as well as stain- and corrosion-resistant. Theexterior is gleaming, magnetic stainless steel that works on inductionas well as conventional stovetops, and, with care, remains beautifulduring this cookware's lifetime warranty against defects--and beyond.

This classic, slope-sided fry pan makes clear why All-Clad's Stainlessline is so popular. It's 7 inches in diameter, perfect forsautéing a salmon fillet or conjuring up a quick beurreblanc. Its polished 18/10 stainless-steel handle is riveted to thepan for strength, grooved on the top and rounded on the bottom forcomfort, and holed in the end for hanging on a hook or peg. The longhandle stays cool on the stovetop but won't be harmed by an oven'shighest heat. Although Stainless cookware is dishwasher-safe, handwashing is recommended. --Fred Brack ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars 5 ***** +EXCELLENT, easy to clean, QUALITY pan
This is THE pan!Fry an egg!Superb.I've been using mine for quite awhile, so I can honestly say I love it!The honeymoon period is over and it's still going strong.Cleans up lickety split.(HINT:Use a kitchen brush to sweep out the pan after soaking in water a few minutes.)Don't let the price keep you from these wonderful, quality pans.I love it and I'd buy a whole set if I could.(I've been cooking for over 30 years.) 5 STARS + is my rating.

1-0 out of 5 stars get out a ruler and measure 7 inches before you buy
I bought this to try out the All-clad line of cookware. I thought this would be good to fry a couple of eggs since I like to flip them without a spatula. Man was I wrong. This pan is so heavy that flipping would be difficult even if I could prevent the eggs from sticking and the handle is so heavy relative to the pan that it won't lay flat on the burner. It's not practical for much and I never use it anymore.

5-0 out of 5 stars TRY IT
This was my first all clad piece. I decided it was time to try the best and the price was right on this one.It is such a good looking pan and distributes the heat so well that I now have started to replace all of my pans with all clad. ... Read more

This is the blender of the future. It performs all thetraditional blending tasks (crushing ice for margaritas, thinning icecream) plus it can be used like a food processor (mincing garlic, puréeing peppers). The wide jar is rounder and squatter thanold-style blenders, which makes it easier to reach in and scrape thesides (when the blender is off!). To reduce splatters of strawberrydaiquiri, the Step Start feature starts blending slowly, then picks upto the chosen speed. This blender also comes with a booklet containing75 recipes--my favorite is the Frosty Chocolate Raspberry Latt&eacute.--Dana Van Nest

Editor's Choice:KitchenAid's five-speed blender has a number offunctions that set it above the crowd as our choice for best blenderunder $100. It starts with the five speed settings and the pulsefunction, which works at any of the speeds--a really nice touch. Theblender's 40-ounce glass jar has a squat shape, making it moremanageable than taller blenders, and comes completely apart. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Superbly designed blender
I bought a red one as a Mother's Day gift, but I tried it out just to see if it was worth the price. It didn't disappoint me.
Mom has gone through cheaper blenders at the rate of one every 8 months. This one has the power as evidenced by the much heavier motor base. Jar has plenty of capacity though some fruit lumps will lodge under the blade. Stirring with a chopstick should dislodge the occasional lump. For those who complain about the worn out teeth - you're overloading the machine! Begin in the pulse mode to break up the contents into small pieces before liquifying it - this will prevent motor burnout and the stripping of the teeth. A cheaper blender would have burned out sooner!

1-0 out of 5 stars Rubber Drive Teeth Don't Last
We have had this blender foryears now.We bought it after seeing one that our friends owned. We have used it for milk shakes, smoothies, and crushing ice.Honestly, we loved it.Then the blender our friends owned died. The rubber teeth used to turn the blade disintegrated. We felt bad for them, but never thought such a fate waited for us.Today our rubber drive teeth crumbled into dust.Garbage.Very badly engineered.Don't buy one if longevity means anything to you.

5-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME...what's with all these competitors' SHILL reviews?
After my Krups died (lasted 4 years) I did a ton of research before I bought this blender, and in the end the choice was just too obvious: there is no other blender in this price range with this amount of sheer power, not even close.

The KitchenAid just blows away the competition from Cuisinart to Braun to Oster to Waring. It certainly was a night and day difference from my old Krups, which took about 3 times longer to do the same work (pureeing 35 oz of bananas and oatmeal with 5 oz of soy milk and yogurt). My sister has the Cuisinart 600watt model and it was also no comparison.

So what sold me on the KitchenAid, despite all the one-star single-reviewers?(NOTE: sure sign of paid shills, aside from the anonymous ones---only one review to their entire history or all their reviews praise one brand and/or attack another brand.)

1.Weight.Simple and consistent indicator of good quality in any electronic device (including speakers, receivers, etc.) is the sheer heft and weight of the thing---I went to a local housewares shop and simply lifted each and every display model. The KitchenAid easily outweighs all the others by almost double.

2.Blade.The KitchenAid's blades are bigger, thicker, and more multi-level than the competition's.Goes through everything in a jiffy.

3.Ease of pitcher movement: very easy to put the pitcher on the machine and take it off, zero twisting---just set it straight down.

4.Nice thick glass on the pitcher.Looks like you could kill somebody with the thing!

    My dislikes:

1.Pitcher is only 40oz, my old Krups had a 50oz pitcher.

2.Plastic/rubber lid is kind of a pain to put on and take off, it's so darn tight.

3.I wish they would just have the simple flip switch controls that the VitaMix blenders have...without the VitaMix price tag, of course!

Now I have to say that I've only had this blender for about a month, but my neighbor has had his for two years and has never had the kinds of problems that many of the MYSTERY reviewers here claim, and the guy is a margarita fiend.

Hmmmm...could this just be a case of badmouthing the competition? ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Can not love this set more
Best mixing bowl set I've ever had.
    Super quality at reasonable price.
I also recommended it to several friends who ended up with being very satisfied with it, too.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great bowls.
An absolutly great buy for any kitchen. The bowls have a great weight to them, and the handles make them easy to hold and use.I've kept mine dirty in the sink for up to two days and they won't tarnish like some cheaper bowls would.Worth every penny.

5-0 out of 5 stars FANTASTIC BOWLS!
I've been cooking for over 40 years and have used a lot of bowls, but these are the most fantastic! They are heavy-duty, shaped perfectly, and the variety of sizes works for everything.I've used wire whisks in 'em and put 'em in the dishwasher. They are beautiful! In fact, I have them hanging in my kitchen -- they never lose their luster. Buy these! You won't find a better bowl at a better price anywhere! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Potato Salad was never so easy
After using the traditional egg slicer and finally having broken the wire strings on the last one, i was searching for something more durable. And this egg wedger caught my eye.I've used it
and really like it.It collapses nicely for storage and so far
seems quite durable.I've seen this in specialty cooking catalogs for more money, but on sale, this kitchen gadget is worth having--especially if you'll be making a lot of potato salad this summer! ... Read more
