Mighty Little Chopper
I just received the KitchenAid KFC3100ER Chef Series Food Chopper and LOVE it.It is very powerful, doesn't leak while making dressings and the red color is very nice also.One draw back...... while it chops, or blends, stuff flys out of the top of the lid where you pour in fluids.I was surprised that there was no cover for it I even checked the box it came in again to make sure I didn't miss it.Hopefully KitchenAid will realize this and make one available for this mighty chopper.In the mean time I suggest using something like foil to place over the lid opening so you don't wear what you are blending or chopping.With that little issue I still give it a 5 star rating you won't be disappointed with it's usefulness and power.Someone mentioned the noise I didn't find it to be an issue, at all.

So Easy to Use and So Poweful too!
I literally threw out our larger Hamilton Beach Food processor because the lid was so hard to get off, almost impossible.We downsized with a bit of apprehension to a 3 cup size and it's perfect! The first culinary delight I made was some ham salad, everything was processed quickly, quietly [not an issue at all] andevenly. Then of course onions, carrots, relish items, all made in short order.This is an awsome machine that we can easily get the lid on and off and processes powerfully without a problem.I am so thrilled with this machine.There is just the two of us now but we entertain alot.Also so easy to store.I only used a few speeds on the big processor so hitting pulse a few times isn't a big issue at all.We love this little giant!

Shame on Amazon..
Here's how it is folks. I ordered this awhile ago and won't get it because...I got it on the free shipping. I truly believe Amazon sends paid shipping orders FIRST...THEN...if there is anything left in stock...the people who ordered enough in the required $$ amount so that they got free shipping (and gave Amazon good business) get THEIRS. We HAVE to be last on the priority list because this has happened over and OVER to me on orders where I've gotten the free shipping.They've taken MONTHS to come!! I'd rate this item higher if I could actually TRY it but if you truly want a popular item such as this..pay for your shipping. That's all I have to say. I guess I'll continue to wait (now impatiently) for my little crock to come.

I cook for a living...
Ahhh...those French! We have 12 of these at work in all of the different colors. We don't store utensils in them though, we use these in our baine marie to keep our small sauces hot while we're in service. The insulating properties of "poterie" are superior to the stainless inserts that most kitchens use.

They make me happy...
..but i am pretty easily pleased by dishes, i must admit. Love to collect 'em, teacups, plates, you name it. In this particular case, i was looking for some salad plates to coordinate with the remainders of my current dishes, a mixture of green and blue solids. Mine look pretty similar to Fiestaware, so it seemed a logical yet fun choice, given the range of colors Fiestaware gives you to choose from.

i can't emphasize enough, GO SEE THE COLORS IN A STORE--none of them really look like the colors online. i've purchased a tangerine butter dish and love that, and now the persimmon salad plates. The persimmon is a wonderfully warm and cheerful color, nothing like the pale color of the photos.

i may have to continue replacing my dishes as they break (accidentally of course)--wonder which color i'll go with next?

Is there a problem getting the cinnabar color?
I had ordered lunch plates in black & cinnabar which I received 2 days after my order.So I ordered an additional 4 lunch plates (cinnabar) for a relative who was getting married and wanted all things Fiestaware in cinnabar.I waited and waited, but the plates never arrived.I don't know what is so special about cinnabar (is the color to be retired?), but it doesn't seem to be available in the retail brick & mortar stores either.Amazon promptly credited my account, but it's just too bad the lunch plates weren't available.Cinnabar is a beautiful color.

Really cool looking set...BUT....
The quality of this set is dodgy.I purchased my set, brought it home from the store, unpacked it and washed it.Noticed the next morning there were already scratches on the red exterior from simple hand washing and setting on the counter. In their information page enclosed in the packaging they recommend storing it with sheet of paper towel in between so that they don't scratch! I've used a set of Revere Ware copper clad cookware for nearly 12 years and it still looks nice. Needless to say, I packed it up and returned it to the store.If it can't handle hand washing, how will it handle cooking?Too bad....I really love the look of this set, and it had *all* the features I was looking for in a cookware set.It is far too expensive for the quality. Two stars because it looks awesome.

A pair of nylons holds up better than this product.It makes no sense that a company with so much going for it would choose to lose so much for so little. The styling of all their cookware is so very attractive.This set is no exception. It's beautiful, until you look a little more closely.The non-stick material just doesn't hold up at all.If it's cared for precisely as indicated in the use and care it just comes off.I feared when I read the warranty that they never intended to stand behind it-still, it was so beautiful.That beautiful red finish however, practically rubs off.Enough said.Unless your purchasing it for STRICTLY decorative purposes, DON'T.

Death By A Thousand Dribbles
My wife says the dribble problem is a man thing.I say, if you like licking coffee off your hand, then buy this baby because the FRIGGIN THING SPIILS EVERYTIME YOU GO TO POUR COFFEE.Trust me, you may as well place the appliance in your sink when in use.

This is a smaller caraf so you have to pour slowly so that you don't dribble.
Brews a great cup o joe! Very easy to clean and cordinates well with other kitchen items!

Not For Me
I didn't expect this coffee maker to be as bad as it is. I bought it because I loved the color and thought it would hide coffee stains. It is the most basic coffee maker available - so if you are used to a few features, this will seem like a toy.
Main complaints are that it keeps brewing coffee when you pull the pot out to grab that first cup (takes a while to brew - so sit tight and take a little pre-caffine snooze), and if you don't drink all the coffee it makes ( about 1 1/2 mugs full, four "teacups" full) right away, it "cooks" the coffee and makes it bitter.
I wish I had bought a bigger, better product.
It still does look very cute and blue on the kitchen counter, however, and it does make coffee. ... Read more

Pleasing, functional bowls with plenty of uses
This set of three mixing bowls gets a lot of use in my kitchen. Admittedly, most of the uses are not `mixing' - for example, the largest bowl is a great thing to make coleslaw in, and you can serve it from the same without having to decant it into another bowl. The small one I sometimes use as a counter-top store for garlic bulbs or cherry tomatoes.

Death By A Thousand Dribbles
My wife says the dribble problem is a man thing.I say, if you like licking coffee off your hand, then buy this baby because the FRIGGIN THING SPIILS EVERYTIME YOU GO TO POUR COFFEE.Trust me, you may as well place the appliance in your sink when in use.

Patients = no dribble
This is a smaller caraf so you have to pour slowly so that you don't dribble.
Brews a great cup o joe! Very easy to clean and cordinates well with other kitchen items!
All around an awesome coffeemaker for the smaller kitchen.

Not For Me
I didn't expect this coffee maker to be as bad as it is. I bought it because I loved the color and thought it would hide coffee stains. It is the most basic coffee maker available - so if you are used to a few features, this will seem like a toy.
Main complaints are that it keeps brewing coffee when you pull the pot out to grab that first cup (takes a while to brew - so sit tight and take a little pre-caffine snooze), and if you don't drink all the coffee it makes ( about 1 1/2 mugs full, four "teacups" full) right away, it "cooks" the coffee and makes it bitter.
I wish I had bought a bigger, better product.
It still does look very cute and blue on the kitchen counter, however, and it does make coffee. ... Read more

What more could you ask for? The ideal gift for the Fiestaware fanatic. I have one and I love it. The color is much richer than [Amazon.com's] site shows, for some reason the pictures of Fiestaware on this site are washed out. Don't let this deter you from getting some, it's very solid and the colors are brilliant.

Pleasing, functional bowls with plenty of uses
This set of three mixing bowls gets a lot of use in my kitchen. Admittedly, most of the uses are not `mixing' - for example, the largest bowl is a great thing to make coleslaw in, and you can serve it from the same without having to decant it into another bowl. The small one I sometimes use as a counter-top store for garlic bulbs or cherry tomatoes.

The quality of manufacture is high. The glazes inside and out are well executed and the design is spot on - pleasing to handle, use and look at. Highly recommended as a versatile workhorse addition to a kitchen. ... Read more

A must for the small bachelor apartment!
I purchased two. As other reviewers have stated, they are heavy weight.It is also true that each can hold only up to six pots/pans; however, the racks only stick out about a foot from the wall.The reason I gave the rack only 4-stars is that, due to the curved design, you do not have a straight shot to the wall when mounting these.Thus you have to use a much smaller screwdriver and subsequently greater force to successfully mount these racks.

Nice but small...
I bought this rack to accomodate some of the pots that were overcrowding my ceiling mounted gourmet rack. This rack is very nice... it looks cute in my small kitchen.. it's well constructed and sturdy. As another reviewer noted, mine also came with the back bar assembled upside down... so in order to complete the assembly required at home I needed to unscrew the thing completely and put it together again...no big deal... it just took me a few minutes. I also agree with the reviewer who said that you cannot hang twelve pots on this rack. It comes with twelve hooks but I see no way in which that amount of pots can fit in this one. It's just too small for that. At the moment I have only 5 items hanging from the rack, all of themshallow items such as a griddle, some skillets and the like.
I think it can accomodate one or two more items... nothing more than that. In terms of sturdiness I really believe the rack can hold the 12 items it is intended for... in terms of space no more than 7. Also be careful when balancing the items on the grid since it's not secured to the rack in any way so if you place a heavy item on one side, it might pull the grid down to the floor. I'd recommend that you keep a heavy pan on the center of the grid to avoid this problem. In a few words, the Half Round Pot Rack is a good buy... just don't expect it to solve your cabinet space problems.

Excellent value for the money
This is a great rack- has a great amount of storage space, and is extremely sturdy.We didn't use the hardware that came with the package;instead, we used toggle screws, but it is still a very solid piece.It was a breeze to assemble, and it arrived right away.
